This apartment-style hotel is in an excellent location with thoughtful staff, new facilities, nice linens and towels, and a kitchen that will let you do basic cooking and hanging out. There's nice plates, glasses, and flatware to use and a full-size refrigerator. You might pay more than other hotels but we thought this was a great value and plan to stay here for our next visit.
We'd struggle to figure out things to improve upon. Basically the only things they could improve would be a trash can in the kitchen, a bottle opener in the drawer, and a softer-flowing shower head (but hot water is well calibrated an immediate so this is really a detail)
Ideal boutique hotel - beautiful and spacious room, stellar service, low-key vibe almost like it’s your own luxury apartment (not a rowdy tourist spot), and a lovely breakfast (great latte!). Location is perfect if you prefer a quiet street but close to bars, restaurants (Another Café for amazing breakfast), and fun shops. We loved walking throughout leafy Condesa, through Parque México (grab a pastry at Odette just north), and the vibrant Roma Norte is close enough for easy access when you want it. Casa Cleo is a special, premium home base to explore CDMX.
Casa Cleo was absolutely incredible. We've stayed at hotels all around the world and would 10 out of 10 come back and recommend anyone looking to stay in Mexico City, this beautiful place. The booking process was simple and easy. Staff were available on site to get us checked in quickly, and the room was stunning. The location was safe, convenient, and walkable to many great restaurants and parks. We can't wait to come back!
We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Cleo. We ended up staying there with our two year old last minute due to an unfortunate hotel situation we were in and they welcome us with open arms. Not only that, but it was SUPER kid friendly offering a nice wooden crib and highchair. The hotel itself was SO nice and we were able to wash bottles in a dishwasher and do laundry. They were stocked with everything you needed including a clothing steamer, it was perfect for a family. The room was super clean and nice, we are so happy we switched. It made our experience in Mexico City 10 times better. Big shout out to Carlos and Adan, they were such kind employees that we we really enjoyed talking to and made us feel super welcomed.
Casa Cleo was absolutely lovely. We were overwhelmed by the number of hotel options in CDMX, and I’m so glad we chose to stay here. Our room — the Millet Suite — was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and unbelievably quiet. The bed was amazing, the AC worked perfectly, and having smart TVs was a great touch. After long days exploring the fun chaos of the city, it truly felt like a peaceful sanctuary to come back to.
The staff were so kind and welcoming throughout our stay. Daniel especially stood out with his friendly greetings and excellent recommendations. The location was also perfect — very central, walkable to so many spots, and easy to Uber anywhere else in the city. There are tons of great cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby.
I’d highly recommend staying here and would absolutely come back.
