Sunset Meteora Private Photography Tour

Excellent tour with Christos! He is very passionate about photography and gave us such precious photography advice and tips in general and specific to Meteora surroundings. He is a very charismatic and friendly person and a pleasure to talk with. Despite taking this tour with our mobile phones instead of digital cameras he joined us with his mobile too and share his knowledge on how to make the most of the camera features and settings in our phones. He drove us around Meteora and stopped at the perfect spots. Christos, these 4 hours with you were the highlight of our hiking holidays in Meteora and Audrey and me are VERY grateful for your time, care, kindness and shared experience.

I had an amazing time on my sunset photography tour!! I am a casual photographer using an iPhone and Christos taught me so much. I booked a group sunset tour but was the only booking, so I got 1:1 attention. Christos took me to some great viewpoints that I never would have made it to on my own. This was truly a highlight of my trip.

I booked a sunset tour with Christos. I'm super happy for the experience. I learned about the area and the culture from a real local's view. Christos gave me great tips to shoot landscape photography with my equipment. We went to some spots that I wouldn't discover by my own. And of course, we took very cool shoots.

My husband & I reserved the private Sunset Tour online. Christos was prompt with his responses and provided suggestions regarding needed equipment to make the most of the tour as well as providing a tripod for our use. He picked us up at our hotel and drove us to "off the beaten path" areas to share his photography knowledge. My husband appreciated Christos's patience and his valuable tips for shooting at sunset using his Canon 70D SLR. Christos also shared editing tips. He gave me tips for my new iPhone 13-Pro. We found Christos to be passionate about photography and eager to share his passion. His English was excellent.

We booked this tour and it was an excelent plan. First Christos, the photographer, shows you a basic theory of photography in order to practice later in the different spots. We spent the afternoon visiting different points that have great views in Meteora and there we stayed there the time needed to take good photos. Also in the stops Konstantina, the guide, explain the history and the curiosities of this magic places. It was a really good time!

Christos provided myself, my wife, and grandson a very enjoyable photography experience. He took us to some very private areas where we were able to acquire some nice images. He was very helpful in giving my grandson, age 12, good instruction in the use of manual photography with his Lumix mirrorless camera; my wife, with her Iphone, and me , a few good pointers with my Sony A7RIII . I would highly recommend using him during your visit to Meteora.

We spent hours enjoying and photographing this amazing location, and we have amazing photos to show for it. Excellent sunset photo tour. For me it was a combination of a study trip to learn to use my DSLR much better, a tour of beautiful Meteora as well as taking some very high quality photos. Christos was extremely friendly, patient and knowledgeable (both about photography tips - basic to very advanced and the best viewspots in the area). Highly recommended.

I am greek and I live in Germany. Because my wife is from the area where the Meteora monasteries are, we have very often been there, but I wasn´t happy with my photos I tooked. This summer I found the Meteora Photo Tour and thought that that could be a great way to improve my photography skills. I had a lot of questions and so I got in contact with Konstantina. She was very friendly and answered all my questions. And I had realy a lot of questions. So I book the Sunrise Photo Tour with Christos. The booking process was absolutely seamless. I received a confirmation email at booking and a reminder email about 24 hours before the tour. When I arrived at the meeting place I was very friendly received by them. We greeted each other and immediately the ice was broken and it feelt like we knew eatch other since years ago. Like an old friend. With Christos car we drove through the narrow and winding roads of Kalabaka and Kastraki. Christos really knows the area like the back of his hand and so we came to dreamlike vantage points from where we could see the breathtaking beauty of the monasteries. I know myself with the photograph relatively well. Christos immediately adjusted to me and given me a lot of tips based on my knowledge. He answered all my questions an showed me ways to improve my pictures. In the four-hour tour I learned a lot and increased my skills significantly. In my remaining vacation, I always thought of Christos tips when taking pictures. If you book a tour with him then he will adapt to your needs and he is absolutely in the position to adapt from amateurs to highly professional photographers, because he is an absolute professional. I learned so much about the history of Meteora and the surrounding villages. Christos knows all about the monasteries because he grew up here and is enthusiastic about the culture and traditions of the meteorites. I booked this tour at the last minute and they were very accommodating. Shortly after we began, the weather changed and it began to rain heavily. We decided to take a break and grab a cup of coffee. As soon as the rain slowed down, we decided to head back up the hill and we were treated to the most incredible skies. Christos and Konstantina were great hosts and if you’re in the area, I highly recommend them. Their knowledge of the area was so helpful. It was definitely an experience I will always remember.

A great way to experience the location and find beautiful photo spots. Christos and Konstantina were very nice and did their best to make sure we had a good time. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking to get some great photographs and has limited time available, or just prefers to work with a photo expert of the area, as I'm sure that finding all those locations on my own would've taken months if not years.
