Itinerary
With a unique oenological and architectural experience, Bodega Trapiche represents in Argentina "the richness of diversity". Throughout its history, it has understood as nobody the strength of viticulture in the country, specializing in obtaining the best in each terroir, creating unique wines. Surrounded by a unique natural landscape delineated by its vineyards and olive groves, is this winery in Maipú. Not only is it worthy of admiring the natural environment that surrounds it, but also its Renaissance-style construction dating from 1912 and is considered one of the icons of Argentine wine architecture. An experience where you can explore the vineyards, learn about the museum, its elaboration philosophy and taste unique specimens that make the essence of Trapiche.
Pan & Oliva is the gastronomic space of Zuelo, where you can find tapas, pasta, salads and homemade dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients from their own organic garden. A restaurant that has an essence that is summed up in 3 concepts: restaurant - warehouse - educational site, because with the same passion they produce their wines, Zuccardi family produces excellent varietal of olive oils. A 3-step menu specially designed for this tour, will be the finishing touch of the day. We don't visit the winery
The quality of Zuelo’s oils start in the care of the olives, of its 260 hectares of own farms, guaranteeing the choice of the best areas, varieties and specific moments for the harvest. In the Zuccardi Family oil mill, they produce extra virgin olive oil, with the highest quality sensors.

We love this tour, all the testing that they take you is amazing and the lunch wow 👌🏼 it's good to know about olive oil too. I recommend this tour 100%
An informative and delicious tour. I really enjoyed visiting the Trappiche winery, where the guide was incredibly charismatic and knowledgeable. I can't remember the name of the second winery but I could have skipped it. The lunch was amazing. Initially, I was a bit disappointed that we were having gnocchi for lunch but the starters were absolutely delicious. It was so nice to finally eat lots of fresh vegetables. I also enjoyed the olive oil tasting. I would like also like to mention that our driver and tour guide, Mauricio and Federico, went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and receiving the same treatment, since we were the only English speakers on the tour.
Freddy and Pablo were both great. Easy to understand ontime informative and fun. Wine was good lunch was good. Highly reco
If you are a wine lover this tour is a must, you will visit several great wineries and the tastings are included and in one the lunch with superb food will also be included and they do take care of all your possible allergies so imagine...you also visit a olive oil maker which is where you will eat
A convenient way to get to know some wineries (bodegas) in Maipu region, near Mendoza. 3 course lunch at Pan Y Oliva was really good. Olive oil tour and tasting breaks a bit of the bodega's marathon and allows to learn a bit more of this important product for the region's economy. Flor, the guide, and Gonzalo, the driver of the van were amazing!
Flor (our guide) and Gonzo (our driver) hosted a fabulous day out. Lots of information and great wine tasting. The meal exceeded our expectations for tours of this kind and the olive oil tasting was a new experience. Would definitely recommend.
Loved this tour! Our guide was absolutely lovely and created a good atmosphere for us. The wineries are beautiful and the tastings were very enjoyable. The olive oil place at the end was the perfect touch - fantastic food and atmosphere.
A really good experience, knowledgeable guides on the two Bodegas an Olive oil plant that we visited. Good wine selection at the three places with an excellent lunch and olive oil tasting. Our guide Dennise was fantastic, and able to give the tour on three languages
Mendoza did not live up to many expectations. Even the Cathedral was closed on Sunday. Nothing to write home about or get excited over. We thought Cordoba was a lot better and offered more opportunities and sites to see.
This was an amazing experience on my first day in Mendoza. 3 wine tastings, 2 winery tours with knowledgeable guides, 1 olive oil factory tour and tasting, a 3 course fresh lunch, and transport to and from the hotel. I can’t recommend this enough, especially as a way to dip your toes into Mendoza wines.
This is a great tour to truly enjoy the wines of a great region. Each vineyard provided a great combination of history and wine in a beautiful atmosphere. Paula is an amazing guide who provided English translation and clarity and ensured everyone was well cared for. This is a great tour!!
Puntuality and good transportation buses Friendly personnel . Don’t miss this oportunity and tryng good wine
This tour was great! We visited Trapiche - a very beautiful and historic winery that captured a stunning view of the Andes, SinFin - least favorite but still enjoyed wine tasting, Zaccardi - 3 course lunch with matching wines was delicious. The people taking us through each winery was knowledgeable and friendly. The other travelers on this tour were lovely, met some really cool people. Only thing to note was that the driver didn't speak English so it was difficult when we got to the first winery we didn't know what was going on... If he was doing the tour or if we were waiting for someone..
There isn't much happening in the winery in late November, but plenty to see and learn with a professional guide supplied by Trapiche for our group. The wines for sale in the Trapiche shop after the tour were realistically priced, and we were offered a 20% discount. Many in our group were impressed enough to buy some bottles.
If you are staying in town this trip gives you a flavour of some of the nearer wine yards. Nice to be able to sit back and taste the wine as someone else is doing the driving! Would have also liked to have visited the Zuccardi Bodega but we only had time for lunch and the Zuccardi Olive tasting. The lunch was very tasty and wine was included. The only minus is you don’t get to see the wonderful scenery of the Andes which is much further into the countryside.
Collected from the Sheraton at around 8:45am and then a tour of Mendoza and it's outskirts collecting others for an hour or so. Total of 18 mostly staying at separate hotels! Started with a large industrial bodega (Trapiche) brief tour of the museum and onto tasting three wines. Then to SinFin a boutique bodega. Again brief tour and then the tasting led by an amusing lady, Agustine. Then on to lunch at Pan y Olivia part of bodega Zuccardi. Excellent three course lunch with lots of wine (three, one per course) and coffee. Then, unfortunately, there was a olive oil tour (thankfully at Zuccardi) which is an hour of my life best forgotten. There was supposed to be English commentary but it was fairly haphazard except at SinFin. Back to hotel by 6pm. Despite that an mostly enjoyable day which would have been better without the olive oil addition.
Great experience! Esteban was our tour guide and he made it a pleasure to venture into Mendocino life!!
We were pickup up on time at our hotel. We visited 3 wineries and had a lovely lunch. The wine was delicious. We did some olive oil tasting as well. Our guide, Frederico, was knowledgeable and kind. Excellent day in Maipu.
The vineyards were interesting to visit as was the wine tasting. However the tour was given in both Spanish and English but with much more information offered in Spanish! The tour was also split in the first vineyard with the English speakers left tasting wine without the amazing view which was frustrating.
6 of us did this tour together and really enjoyed it. The Kahuak staff was very accommodating when we needed to add another person to our reservation. The tours themselves were beautiful and each had an internal English speak tour guide that were very fun and informative. All in all we really loved our experience and would definitely do another Kahuak tour in the future.
The wineries one of some that my friends recommended so it was great to have a tour to experience them. I hadn't heard of Sin Fin but the guide was great and wines were fantastic and not as popularly sold everywhere. The guide of the bus tour was super friendly and made sure we kept on time, while giving us plenty of time to shop after each tasting. After our lunch, we had time to see the olive oil factory. It was beautiful, tasty, and would recommend - it was my first time in Mendoza.
Booked this wine tasting/tour through trip advisor. Initial contact/information between booking and pickup could have been better. As could the pickup times...we didn’t get picked up till nearly 9:20 - appreciate many hotels in the area but easy enough to give estimations rather then tell everyone 8:30. Our guide, Stephen, was friendly and very knowledgeable and most importantly for us spoke very good English! The first winery, Trapiche, was very interesting and we enjoyed this the most. There was little to see at the second winery and the tasting was quite long/drawn out. The third vineyard visited didn’t include a tasting but did consist of a very, very good lunch with paired wines. They were able to cater for GF and to be honest was probably the best part of the tour! Afterwards we tasted some olive oils before heading back to town. We weren’t back until nearly 6pm which for us wasn’t an issue, but I can imagine could have been for some people on a tighter schedule. Overall, a very good day out for a snippet of the price of some of the other wine tastings/tour on offer. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a wine tour whilst in Mendoza and not limited to specific timings!
Very poorly organised and not as advertised. First we had to wait an hour for them to show up and they did not attempt to contact us. When the “luxury vehicle” arrived, it turned out to be a bus and the “English audio” meant a tour in Spanish with parts, about 50%, of what was said in Spanish translated into English. There are other wine tours that give you much better value for money.
The wine tour was so much fun! The vineyards are only a 20 minute drive outside of Mendoza, so you don't spend all day in the car. The tour guide was amazing! She is fluent in Spanish and English. At the first winery the person giving the tour spoke Spanish but our tour guide was great and translated everything for us into English. The second winery the tour guide was bilingual so it was not a problem. The wine was great at all the vineyards! I met some really amazing people that day on the tour as well. I went on my own but there were so many friendly people, including our tour guide, Anita, that I never felt alone or bored.
First the good points. The wineries were fantastic and the tastings and the lunch were beautiful and fairly well organised. Definitely no complaints with the food and wine! Now the not-so-good. There were several young kids on the tour that were out of control, running around and causing havoc for the tour guides and annoying the rest of the group. The group was not small - there were 23 of us - and that made it difficult to coordinate. Unfortunately after lunch some people decided to wander off and take their time getting back, making us late for our return to town and disrupting our evening plans. Despite this, our hosts were awesome - very engaging and really made the tour a lot of fun. Would do it again, provided there were less people and no kids!

Fantastic tour! Went to 3 very different wineries and had an amazing lunch at the olive oil tour.

Loved this tour! Our guide was very kind and friendly. I loved going to Trapiche--it was truly gorgeous! SinFin was not as aesthetically pleasing, though the wine was certainly the best of the three! Santa Julia was very pretty as well. In terms of lunch, they served lasagna, which was a little disappointing since you can get better lasagna in the US, but the other parts of the three course meal were delicious. The whole crew was a little disappointed that we had to do a tour of the olive oil factory at Santa Julia following the lunch, since we were stuffed and filled with wine, but it was a beautiful day, so it worked out! Would certainly recommend.

Outstanding tour with an amazing guide! Great wineries, excellent food, and very well organised.

Perfect excursion! Good, comfortable transportation, knowledgeable guide, and three fascinating wineries. In addition to wine tasting, we had an olive oil tasting which put another spin on this trip. And the lunch was superb...fine dining at the last of the three wineries. You won't regret taking this tour!

Kahuak tours is excellent. Our experience of flavors, wines and food was unforgatable. its a great tour.

A good tour, visited 3 nice but diferent wine cellars. Food was excellent and the guide was very pleasant and informative

This tour was fantastic. The lunch was better than expected. Definitely recommend this tour for others.

Would have prefered smaller wineries with better wine. The 2nd winery had awful wine. The guide was enthusiastic but english was only fair

We hired tour with agent Salvador Garciarena who advised us very well regarding the offer of rides. Excellent treatment, like Sergio who accompanies us and guided us to the different places. Lunch at Santa Julia was spectacular. Wine and oil tastings were offered and conducted by qualified staff from each location. Very happy. Excellence in everything
Very good excursion, experience, tastings, explanations at each stop and Ramiro guide. Delicious food in Santa Julia. Very nice experience!
Excellent experience and tasting in 3 wineries of MZA, we loved it, we took michisimas photos for the memory!. Dedicated and knowledgeable guide.
Everything great, the excursion very complete, Luciana and the driver very attentive at all times, the guys from the wineries (Trapiche, Antigal) also, the super rich wines, and the food in the restaurant bread and olive (Zuelo) spectacular. 10/10
Excellent tour of the vineyards, Lucia very good guide, and excellent driver. Transport left on time. Excellent wineries visited. 100% recommended.
Excellent excursion to learn about Wine, Olive Oil and much more! A great experience of flavors and sensations surrounded by a great climate and a very pleasant work team! The guide Marcos was very cordial and demonstrated great knowledge and passion for the area, as did Mauro, who took us from one point to another safely with a very neat and clean unit. 5 ⭐
I took the tour with my wife, and everything was very good!!! The guide Marcos and the driver Pablo are great, Marcos is a very good and patient guy, always willing to explain things as many times as necessary. Regarding the bodegas, I felt that SinFin is more attentive and affectionate with its customers, Trapiche is huge, the largest in South America and although it is very cool to learn about it, it lacks that affection that we receive everywhere in Mendoza.
Excellent experience. Very attentive and clear guide Lucía. We visited the sugar mill and the rural area singing excellent wines with interesting explanations
The tour was very good. The agency is excellent. We were attended by the guide Rosário and motoriata Maurício. Both careful, attentive and extremely attentive to everyone. Lunch was great, as were the visits. We booked through the hotel, but we went to the agency in person because we wanted another tour. I highly recommend it to anyone coming to Mendoza
Practically a full day trip, very pleasant, and can be done with older people, very pleasant, with short walks and many opportunities to learn more about wines and the region. Possible to photograph, but there is no specific time frame for this. Excellent food. Guide Frederico and driver Mauricio, very friendly and always very patient.
Dia muito especial em Mendoza. Guia Frederico muito atencioso, organizado e as visitas muito agradáveis.
Excellent day today! The guides were very friendly, everything was very organized. Great experience. Federico is a genius and the driver is also from Cordoba! Thank you! I would choose kahuak again.
