Let’s be honest, you’re probably questioning the cost. I was too. But if you know you love mountains and hiking I 100% recommend going for it. We were a group of four (one couple, two solo) and we all had such a good day — excellent hike, scenery, food, and conversations. I 100% recommend using Kahuak as well. They’re very well organized from start to finish, with great communication, plus Marcus & Federico left no room for complaints. Overall, a top Mendoza experience. Tips: prepare for a lot of dust and cold wind gusts.

This was a very interesting and special experience.. the amazing landscape of the Andes. And a beautiful hike to 3.400m. The Guide and the Driver were very kindly and welcoming and…. Professional!!
Our guide was the best!! He took good care of us even let me use his the king sticks . Highly recommend
Excellent trek. Martin was extremely knowledgable and provided lots of facts and history for the region. Very friendly and helpful!
The trekking in the Andes was absolutely epic! Stunning views of South America’s highest peak, a challenging but doable trail, and a pro guide made it unforgettable. Loved the unique rock formations and local lunch beside fresh stream. Highly recommend this tour! Thank you Kahuak, tRaul and Franco👍👍👍👍👍
A wonderfully long day with the best of guides. So good try the three day!! Our guide Fred was with us every step of the way.
Early Sart, quite a long trip of about 3 hours to National Park, fubulous trek, scenery amazing, 3 hours up and 2 down, our guide was very knowledgable about all subjects relating to Argentina, the politics, the history and particularly the geography and geology. Started at 2,900m and went up to about 3,500m. Nobody in our party hd the slightest issues with altitude or breathing but it is a fairly testing trek if you are not used to robust exercise. Round trip, about 11 miles and a must for adventurous souls. Can't remember the name of our guide but he was good guy. Total time out about 12 hours.
Let's start with what I really liked. Top marks for the guides, Frederico and Manina. They were super professional, supportive and provided lots of interesting information. Frederico is clearly highly trained and experienced. Thanks, both of you! The mini bus was very good and comfortable and our driver Horacio was very skilled, not a single fault in those difficult roads. What could be improved? First of all, information on the site. I understand people want to sell the tour, but this is a very demanding trekking. It's 7 km uphill, from 3000 to 3400 meters high. For a sea level animal like me, it makes a lot of difference. At the end of the climbing I was panting like a dog in a hot day and walking really slow. This is a trip for people up to date with their regular aerobic training. I am 60 and not exactly a potato couch but I was on my limit. The views are amazing and being in the middle of the Andes is certainly rewarding. But I confess that getting to the Confluencia camp does not add much to the trip. The camp itself is of no interest and the views no better than along the way. So there is no clear reward to arriving there. The time for rest and lunch was limited. And there we were on the trail again. Add to this quite a long time in the bus - some 5 hours in total. In summary, I think that if you enjoy the challenge and is fairly fit, it's a fun trip. But there are probably less physically challenging alternatives with similar views. I wouldn't have made this trip if I know the true extent of it.
The activity with our guide Federico was absolutely amazing. It's worth the money. Thank you!
I went with my partner to do the Aconcagua experience and both Mariano and Federico were super didactic, expeditious and affectionate. Great food and great music in the combi while traveling. They were part of the experience. Super grateful!
We did the quabrada de Matienzo, up to the lagoon escondida with a very prepared and very nice guide, starting from mendoza. Amazing experience: beautiful and exciting route, very prepared and helpful staff. A truly unforgettable day for those who love the mountains. Super recommended!
Excellent guide Ramiro, providing us with very good historical information, took us Daniel, a very safe and knowledgeable driver.
We love trekking. We held it on April 12, 2025. Who guided us for this tour was Diego and Sofia, were great guides, always worried about us. The walk and the view were amazing, I recommend for those who like adventure. It was a total of 5 hours walk. I would definitely come back again.
I came to Menndoza to see family and trek because where I live there is nothing nearby and I decided to do the Confluence one, the truth could not be better! The guide and the driver were super friendly, I was picked up at my family home and at the time they had told me, besides the guide always respected the rhythm of each one and you could see that he likes what he does! And of the sights and the place not to speak, it's something you only feel when you're there...
Beautiful experience in a wonderful landscape. Our Federico guide was a genius, had an explanation for all the questions and very cool. Chauffeur Raul also a cuppa. Certainly something you should experience if you travel to Mendoza and like trekking! The agency always very forthcoming at any time, I would re-engage with them if I return in the future.
Great agency, all tours were carried out on time and with the content foreseen at purchase, they were well attended to and quickly provided. The horseback riding tour was canceled but refunded.
It is not the only activity we do with Kahuak and always gave us the same result, something well planned and well executed. In this case, the trekking that starts from the entrance to Aconcagua Provincial Park was a beautiful experience. Depending on the physical condition, it can be more or less challenging, as well as depending on the weather you are touching throughout the approximately 6/7 hour walking tour. (I recommend wearing sunscreen, some warmth in case and some waterproof element since it is not uncommon that it can rain a little in some stretch, especially higher). We were picked up around 7AM in a 4x4 van, both guides who played for our group were experienced and very cool. We were provided with a small breakfast stopping in Uspallata and then if we headed for the park where we had to check in at the entrance. The views along the way are beautiful and it is very interesting to be able to know, even for a short time, what it is like to be in the base camp Confluencia, how those who have decided to undertake the complete ascent to the hill are accommodated and coexist. They also provide a lunch cubicle.
I did the high mountain hike with them in the Provincial Park Aconcagua, I was guided to Marcos and chauffeur to Raul: 2 geniuses! He guides all the time teaching and explaining about the places; and there was so much good energy between the two that made us have fun and we would have a great time all the time. We walked 3 hours in the park until we reached the viewpoint of Aconcagua and there we had lunch, visited uspallata, colts and the bridge of the Inca. Very good experience, I recommend the excursion and do it with the two of them.
Very good activity. the views are great. It's done with professionalism. Highly recommended. Emilia and Rodolfo
Definitely a beautiful experience, with a beautiful landscape all the time and the excitement of arriving at the first camp! Federico was our mountain guide, a genius! And so will driver Miguel! Very grateful! Service is complete and more! We'd pick him again. Montserrat and Mariana
My girlfriend and I did the trekking Confluence with this Enterprise and the truth was amazing!, I really recommend it, and if you are lucky enough to have the guide Federico Indovina, better yet, super friendly and professional, explaining everything in detail and answering every question.
If you go to Confluence, go to Plaza Francia, for that you have to stay there. It is worth being at the foot of the Aconcagua.
The Aconcagua is a wonderful landscape! Hiking to the first camp of all mountaineers, is a great experience! Exhausting! But very satisfying! Our guide Martin, an expert! Grateful! They take into account all food restrictions!
