It was a nice experience; the problem is it says max 23 pax but the truth is that is just one van, and at each winery there were 3 to 5 vans, so every stop was super crowded. At the olive tasting, I counted at least 9 vans, so you can imagine the number of people at this particular stop. The tour guide Caro and the driver Mauri were super nice. If you want a more dedicated experience, I would go with a smaller group. All in all a great half day tour.
This was a nice little introduction to the wine region closest to Mendoza city. I liked that there were three different styles of wineries. Comunicación and pick up from the tour guide was clear and easy.
This is unbeatable value in Mendoza ! We had a great time visiting 3 wineries and olive tasting. Each winery offered a tour of the facilities and complimentary tasing and explanation. While most of the group was Spanish-speaking, some were English speaking and there was plenty of English everywhere to make this a great day. Highly recommend this tour!
Great to have the opportunity to taste wonderful wines and the stories of these places. We recommend it to everyone visiting Mendoza go to this tour
We had an enjoyable afternoon with a small group of people. Caro, our guide, has great knowledge about the different grapes and what each winery we visited specialises in. Apart from tasting some nice wines, we tasted local olive oil at the factory. Our driver, Alex, did a great job picking and dropping us at our accommodation.
Not a recommended tour. Tours of three wineries were pretty much the same discussions in all and was repetitive. The tour was multi-language and it felt like the tour guide was not providing alot of information in English. The English tour of the second winery was delayed by 20+ minutes and then we were taken around quickly.
Excellent day good variation of types of wineries plus an olive farm. Guide and driver were excellent You don’t need to be a wine expert to enjoy the tour
It was well worth the money. About a dozen different wine tastings, over half a dozen olive oil tastings, wonderful guides who explained everything from the process of making wine/olive oil, as well as the history of the vineyards. Ron was especially helpful and delighted to guide my group and answer any questions. He went out of his way to show us a good time and I was very impressed.
We enjoyed the wine tasting outing of Maipu wineries with Cepas and guide Cara, who was very friendly. At each winery, the English speakers had their own guide and that was a welcome accommodation. English tourists are a minority. On the bus, it seemed that a lot more was said for the Spanish guests than the English guests. English guests received a short summary. I understand just enough to know that there was a difference. We visited Bodega Cecchin, PasRai Olive distillery, Bodega Vistandes, and Essencia. Our least favorite was Essencia, because the wines were very sweet and it was more of a quirky museum stop than a real winery. After visiting wineries in the Lujan de Cuyo, I found these wineries to be less complex. They are also more frequented by the large tour groups. The Bodegas are not bad, and the tours and tastings were fine. We enjoyed the many samples of bread and olive oil at PasRai. Overall, this is a short tour, and for those with limited time and finances, it is a good option.
Excellent overall experience. Communication with the tour group and our guide was clear and responsive. We experienced no issues during our tour. I loved how the tour was laid out, with a variety of examples of wineries.
The tour was very good, all the wineries and the olive factory were nice places, the wine we tasted was very good, multiple varieties and styles of wine. The guide, Caro was excellent, provided us with a lot of information and she ensured we had a good time.
Exceeded all my expectations today from the price I didn’t have high hopes but was a great tour of 3 totally different wineries and an olive oil producer. The escort on the mini bus Caro was excellent and introduced the things to look out for on each of the 3 vineyard places. We tasted 3 wines in each place which showcased the different varieties. The first was a traditional vineyard and the tour included a tasting, explanation of the techniques for making wine and the vineyard itself. The second was a more modern winery and after tasting a rose Malbec, sweet white and a more traditional Malbec we could buy a glass of their premium Malbec and blend wines and take them on the tour of the interesting building. The third was an old family estate and we saw the magnificent barrels and explained the process with 3 tastings. The olive oil place also was interesting and we sampled the oils with bread. I would recommend this tour as a starting point for an introduction to the wines surrounding Mendoza. The total time was over 5 hours and for £18 a bargain!
A great way to spend an afternoon! Our tour guide Carolina did an excellent job detailing the 4 stops and gave great background content on Mendoza’s history. It was a fast paced social excursion, with minimal time driving between stops. I would fully recommend!
This tour was amazing! Each winery offered a different experience and we got a well rounded view of what maipu had to offer. Would highly recommend!
The guide was wonderful! We were picked up at our hostel and dropped back of there too! The three vineyards were all different and we learned different things at each one. The olive oil orchard was gorgeous and the oil was delicious.
Sub-standard wine experience. After coordinating pickup at the hotel were staying they changed and ask us to travel by taxi to an alternative meeting space more convenient for them. Group size was too large and the wines were average. The Olive oil tour portion was interesting and had very good Olive oil. Esencia had good reserve wines that we had to request to sample and chocolates were delicious.
The guide was wonderful, talented in both Spanish and English, giving more insights to wine country in between each winery in the Maipu region.
Spanish and English together, not what I signed up for. Very crowded. Guide spent all her time with the Spanish tour. Didn't know wineries in advance. Pick-up was 2pm (or maybe 40 min later?), strange information. First winery was so rushed I couldn't finish my wine. Had to wait around for the Spanish group, could have been done 1.5 hours sooner.
The tour was advertised as an English speaking tour. We had appropriately 20 Spanish speakers and 7 English speakers on the small bus. The guide would speak in Spanish going on and on and then the English speaker s would get a couple of sentences. At the wineries we were split in English/Spanish and the English group would sit around waiting 15-30 minutes for the other group. Had we known that they were going to do both languages, we wouldn't have booked. It was a disappointment to say the least.
Great value and delicious wines, can't ask for better. Caro our tour guide was lovely. Each winery had a short tour and 3/4 wines to taste. The olive oil tasting was a great second stop after our first few wines.
It was without doubt the best value wine tour. The vineyards were beautiful and all very different. The olive plantation was a first for me and a great experience. Lots of different varieties. Loved it
A wonderful experience at three different style wineries and the olive grove and processing. The guides were very informative, the people very nice and the wine and olive oil excellent!
I thought a good deal for $35 usd. Interesting to learn about Mendoza wine making and a bit of history.
My friend and I took this tour on March 23, 2026. I liked the fact that each of the wineries were very different, but I don't think any of them were in the top 20% of Maipu wineries in terms of quality. The olive experience was good, but the timing was a bit off due to other tours arriving at the same time - it felt a bit rushed. The tour was given by Caro in both Spanish and English, and my friend and I both noticed the Spanish portion seemed at least twice as long as the English translation, so hopefully we didn't miss out on any interesting details. The reason we chose Viator was because they listed the animus of the wineries (unlike some others I viewed), which was extremely helpful as we didn't want to duplicate similar wineries in Lujan de Cayo the next day.
Our wine and olive tasting tour was absolutely wonderful! Federico did a fantastic job narrating. We had tours at all 3 wineries, and the olive oil factory, separated by English and Spanish speakers.. Everything was well organized and pickup and drop-off were seamless.
Great value. Length perfect for us. If you don't want to invest in an all day ($$) tour with meal this your answer. Nice variety of wines and wineries. All guides great including our own on the bus.
The wineries on the tour were not nearly as good as some we others we visited in the area. It appeared they were selected for some other reason.
A fun and easy way to get a taste of the local Mendoza wines, the tour is a good pace with enough time spent in all places. Highly recommended!
We visited 3 wineries and one olive oil factory. The group was bilingual and I must say that the Spanish option was definitely better because the guides and people at the wineries had a tough time explaining their work in English. The wine was great and every bodega has a shop if you care to purchase some of their wine.
This was a very nice, budget-friendly tour. The pick-up was prompt, and the guide was amiable and easy to understand in both Spanish and English. The variety of wineries made the tour very interesting. We would highly recommend.
The selection of the three wineries was really good in that they all had very different histories and approaches. It was also helpful to understand how Mendoza became the wine centre it is today.
Really fun afternoon touring a diverse selection of wineries and an olive oil business. Meeting different people from around the world was a bonus. Rosio and Ariel were hospitable and generous and fun to be with.
Lovely winery, guides were very informative and spoke great English. Definitely recommend for a solo traveller! Very good value also
Enjoy visiting not only 3 wineries and 1 olive oil factory but also 4 glasses wines at each wineries. We wish we could stay there to move on dinner
Wonderful A broad view of the Mendoza wineries Carolina was a great guide Very safe and a good variety of places
Tour exceeded expectations for the price paid. There were 13 of us total. Mariano was a great tour guide! He was personable, engaging, friendly and kept us entertained during journey from winiery to winiery. Really good wineries visited with 3-4 high quality wines tasted at each. The small walk through the vines into the last winery was a great experience and vibe! About 6 hours for entire experience and didn't feel too long. Eat before you take tour as you only get some toast samples with olive oil in the middle of the tour. Excellent tour and I would recommend to all!
The van picked us up from our hotel on time. The olive oil tour guide from the olive oil producer was excellent. She described their process very clearly and explained the new process versus the old. The guides at each winery were very good. We tasted either 4 or 3 wines at each winery. The guides explained their process clearly and professionally. Our tour guide explained where we were going and what to expect. She was professional and helpful. Overall our trip was excellent and we enjoyed it. We recommend this tour.
What a great tour - best deal in Argentina!! Wonderful combo of locations, all unique and so interesting. Rocio was simply amazing in every way. She was fun and cared so much that we learned and enjoyed ourselves, thank you!
This was a good tour relative to the cost. For the price, it would have been unrealistic to expect a world-class winery experience. The vineyards and guide were good, and the wines were okay.
We went to some very beautiful wineries and an olive oil factory. The olive oil had a lovely tasting. Overall I would recommend this tour!!
Caro and Bryan were fantastic, very knowledgeable and accommodating. The guides at the different stops were pretty good, thanks!
Picked up on time and transportation and guides at each winery were good. Some things were interesting at the wineries but the tastings were very disappointing. Lots of sweet wines which we are not fond of. We felt it would have been better marketing to offer good wines to taste and we would have bought some. Instead we returned empty handed as put off by the poor quality offered as tastings. Enjoyed the olive oil visit as we learned a lot and given a really good variety to taste.
This tour was extremely well organised. The hotel pick up was on time and Caro our guide was very knowledgeable about the local wine industry. She spoke at equal length to both the Spanish and English speakers in our group.
We did 2 tours with this company, a wineries and Andes Mountains tour. Both were well organised and the guides friendly and spoke good English. The tour buses comfortable, both toured easily booked online and the company checked in and gave us all the information we needed via What’s App. I would recommend using this company if you want to book day trips from Mendoza.
I would not recommend this tour for international travellers who have experienced wine tasting at many places. I would also not recommend for English speakers. First, there is a LOT of waiting involved in this tour. You wait for the bus to pick you up, you wait at every spot on the tour for the previous tour group to finish and for the guides to be ready for you. That was the most annoying part of the trip. Second, the guide explains more and better in Spanish, and only speaks English intermittently. I would say the ratio of Spanish to English was 70-30. Third, the tours themselves are not high quality. They are solving for volume vs experience. There are a LOT of tour operators and people on the tour, and you feel like one of a very large crowd. I left the tour halfway and took an uber back to the hotel. I recommend passing on this tour and just arranging a private tour for 1-2 wineries. I also highly recommend Uco Valley instead.
I really just wish I had known that 10 of the 11 wines we would be tasting would all be sweet. Had I known that, I would not have booked the tour. It was well done in terms of organization and the wine presenters at each winery were great… but the wine was just not what I personally like. If you’re expecting dry Malbecs, this isn’t it.
Incredible!! All 4 locations were amazing, great local guides at each. Highly recommend for an easy way to sample Mendoza wineries and Olive oil manufacturer
Carlo, the guide, and Matteo, the driver, were excellent! A very enjoyable half day with door to door service and fun, relaxed experience in Maipu.
Had a great experience. Caro es muy simpatica. Beautiful wine country. Good wine. Made new friends. What more can you ask for.
