Sunset Horseback Riding

This was one of the most amazing experiences in Mendoza hands down! The staff take great care of the horses and you while your there. The views are amazing! The food was also great!

Great. Two friends and I had scheduled last minute. We weren’t able to get the same day revered, however we reached out to Viator about any possibility of going together. They worked together to find a similar trip, that typically costs more, and covered the difference for us to all go together. Very very helpful. The trip itself was fun, chiller in the mountains. Perfect amount of time for the money spent. Met some new people, from around the world. Mostly younger people, 20s-40s. The guides were all ages.

Wonderful time with a very scenic route, lovely horses, knowledgeable and engaging guides, and delicious asado.

Great horses, Very good instructions prior to riding for safety and handling the horse. Los Pingos Horse ridings guys were very good. Shout to Nacho. Rode in almost full moon night with beautiful scenery. Food and wine after riding were authentic.

Lovely placid horses, all really well trained and responsive. Santiago, Nacho and guys really looked after us. Nice 2hr ride into hills. Some steep up and down hills.

This was a fantastic horse-riding experience, even for a complete beginner. Our guide, Lenny, gave clear instructions on how to handle the horses, though they are so well-trained they practically know the route by heart. Any initial nervousness I had quickly vanished, and I felt completely safe throughout. The included meal was delicious and very filling, though it’s more of a hearty, rustic spread than a gourmet experience.

We climbed quite a lot altitude-wise on horses and we had a good time, even though the group was quite large and even though I got an antisocial horse that started running every time there was a horse near it. There was a lot of meat (basically, all you could eat) and a lot of wine for dinner.

This gentle ride, with its lovely vistas and delicious asado, was a great way to spend an evening. Communication upfront was helpful and timely. Santiago, owner of the ranch, clearly explained riding how-to before our group of about a dozen people set out on our steady horses. (I appreciated learning that they’re rescue animals.) Our delightfully friendly and informative guide, Nacho, moved fluently and inclusively from Spanish to English. Fabio cooked up a plentiful dinner that all around the convivial table, including the Argentinian and Chilean experts, agreed was super-tasty. Highly recommended by both my husband and me.

We had such a great time on our horseback riding adventure in Mendoza. The ranch team took care of everything, including transportation to and from the activity, which was super efficient and really appreciated. I’m a total novice when it comes to horseback riding, but by the end of the trip I felt confident thanks to the clear instructions on how to handle the horse. The ride itself was incredible, nearly two hours through the mountains with stunning views. When we returned, we were welcomed with an authentic Argentine dinner that brought the whole group together. It honestly felt like we left with new friends by the end of the night. Such a unique and unforgettable experience. I’d definitely recommend it!

Really high quality tour. We were picked up on time and taken to the ranch, where we were shown how to ride before heading out. The tour itself was a couple of hours. On return back to the ranch we were sat down to a delicious asado- the best meat we had during Argentina. Delicious wine and the hosts made an effort to facilitate conversation between the group and helped translate between languages. Overall an excellent evening and very accessible for those having never ridden before

Best trail riding experience I've had, including good Caribbean, Spain, and Wyoming rides because these horses were exceptionally well trained and trust worthy. Views were incredible as sun sets past the Andes ridge. Guide Lenny fun and competent horseman. Has been highlight of our Argentina vacation.

This is a 10/10 experience. We would recommend this to everyone. Santiago and Leny were so welcoming, knowledgeable, and made us feel so comfortable. The views were breathtaking, the pony’s were lovely, and the after ride food was remarkable.

Highly recommend and I would go again. The staff were lovely and very informative. The bbq dinner at the end of the ride was delicious!

The most amazing experience in Mendoza! Santiago and his team were incredible. There are no words to describe the sights you’ll see while trekking through the foothills of the Andes. 10/10 would recommend and will be doing it again my next time in Mendoza! The asado was the cherry on top!

Exciting and adventurous 2 hour horseback ride round trip as you see the sunset! Very lovely place, great group, and I highly recommend trying the asado after. Great for anyone, even if you’ve never ridden a horse before, the guides are there with you and the group the whole time! We had a great time and loved the chance we had to socialize after with the group that came with us.

Very good gaucho guide. They give you a horse that fits you, go with a basic training and takes you to small hills which are part of the huge private rancho. Once you go to the top and see city with night lights then you go back down as it gets dark and eat tons of sausages and beef.

This was a highlight of our trip!! What an amazing experience. Our pickup was easy and our guide spoke great English and was really lovely. The horses were incredible. So calm and friendly. Each of the horses have names and distinct personalities (Juanaco was my favourite but I might be biased!). The trek was amazing, we saw fantastic views of Mendoza. The guides walk you through everything, so this is good for all levels of horse rider. After getting back dinner was unreal, traditional Argentinian BBQ with plenty of local wine. Chatting with the other guests over dinner was a nice touch. Would do this again in an instant. 10/10.

Amazing experience & great hospitality from Leny and his team. The asado was delicious! The horses are gentle and well behaved but I would suggest this isn’t suitable for absolute beginners due to the terrain and at times speed required. Only other small issue was that our pick up was 1 hour late… but worth it in the end!!

Lenny was a wonderful host and guide and did a great job to teach us the basics - it was all that required - and have a great trek through the foothills follows by a superb dinner and Malbec. And sent pictures of all us. Great trip!! Highly recommend.

If in Mendoza this is a must. I’ve never ridden a horse before but Santiago was a brilliant guide and instructor and I loved the whole experience. The weather wasn’t on our side but it was still an incredible experience with lighting flashing in the distance and the sun peaking through the clouds. The food was incredible, Nico served us different variety of pork to start and then beef for main with vegetables. The beef was probably the best tasting I’ve ever had, amazing! Santiago was brilliant throughout and made the experience.

Was a great afternoon evening I had a great time and the guy was amazing - Was great day. I would recommend. I real must do in Mendoza!

Such a great experience! My friend and I had little to no experience riding horses and the estancia owners were with us every step of the way. Truly a great experience with a great asado at the end!

What a fantastic tour. I specifically flew to Mendoza just to do this tour and it was incredible. The views from start to finish on the horse riding were great. The owner of the estancia was súper friendly and welcoming. The asado also exceeded expectations. If you have to do one tour in mendoza this should be it.

Highly recommend! Every aspect of this experience was fantastic. The contact with the organisation beforehand was clear and extremely helpful. They let us know exactly where we were going to be picked up and then checked to see that everything had gone smoothly. The guide was friendly and kind to all of the participants as well as very knowledgeable. The experience itself was extraordinary and a must do in Mendoza!

To start with the horses are well taken care of by Santiago and his staff. Instructions on how to ride your horse are provided to all so the activity is accessible to everyone no matter what level of horseback riding you have. Don’t bother bringing sun hats - you will ride with a helmet they provide. And if possible bring no bags or leave them at the ranch. Our guide Francisco (aka Fran) was calm informative and fun and while we rode peacefully, he took pictures of everyone! By the next day we received all his pictures which were great. When we returned to the ranch a lovely dinner was prepared by Santiago and his team and served outside around a big table. The views of the sunset, mountains, valleys were great: we felt at one with nature and extremely peaceful on the ride. The highlights of our trip to Mendoza province.

The guide was excellent and sunset was beautiful! Great communication in the run up and very accommodating of a last minute change in pick up point.

This guide group really love their horses and it showed that they wanted to share that love with everyone. The meal at the end went above my expectations and got to meet new people!

We had a great time, I would 100% recommend. The ride was lovely and fairly easy, with great views. The food was very nice.

We took the sunset horseback ride a few nights ago. We did not get picked up at our hotel and finding the exact spot to meet was a little confusing since there is no sign . Communication with the guide was very good so we only waited a few minutes . Make sure to arrange a ride home because an Uber will not come and get you from this location. The horseback ride was great and the views amazing. The whole trail ride is about 2+ hours. The horses are very well cared for and know their way around, even in the dark! The Asado at the end outside under the stars was magical. The meat was cooked perfectly and even my vegetarian husband had plenty to eat. Plenty of wine and water . All and all a wonderful experience. Lenny was perfect and made us all feel safe and competent!

Lenny and Santiago make an excellent team for this excursion. Both were absolutely fantastic! They were both patient with those of us who were horseback riding for the first time. And gave very clear instructions on how to direct our horses. I cannot say enough good things about them and this unforgettable excursion. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mendoza. We took a very scenic route, ascending and descending in the mountains and insured a beautiful sunset over the Andes. Finally, the evening ended with a very enjoyable Argentinian style barbecue. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone planning to visit Mendoza.

We had a great afternoon and evening with the lovely people and horses. A wonderful 2 hour horse ride with spectacular views and a great guide and lovely well-trained horses. Our guide told us about the fauna, the country, the local area and many interesting things about Mendoza, the mountains and more. After the tour, we were served delicious food and wine with the rest of the group, which gave us the opportunity to connect with all the people we shared this experience with. This was truly a great and unforgettable experience and is highly recommended! Thank you guys!

My dad and I had an unforgettable horseback riding experience in Mendoza! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the staff was incredibly friendly and informative, making the experience even more enjoyable. After the ride, we we had an amazing asado that was the perfect way to end the day. Everything from the scenery to the hospitality was top-notch. Highly recommend this adventure!

This was an amazing experience a really nice route and good amount of time on the horse followed by a fantastic bbq dinner. The hosts were so helpful and kind. Took great photos as well. 10/10 recommended.

From beginning to end this was a great experience. Organised and professional, everything was well detailed and explained. Our hosts were fantastic - especially Francisco who accompanied us on the ride. There were 9 in our group and Fran did a brilliant job speaking both English and Spanish. It’s a nice length ride for those who aren’t regular riders, spectacular views and the meal at the end was a delicious treat! Highly recommend - I and my young adult children all loved it!

The ride was 2 hours long and very interesting. They did a very good job of preparing us for the ride. They did safety checks a number of times along the trail to make sure our equipment was still correct. Good food and good company after the ride. We recommend it

Great experience! First I was worrying about the tour, as I've done horseriding only once before - but everything went smoothly and easily! Great staff, and well trained horses, I felt very safe and comfortable. Delicious dinner at the end

Thoroughly enjoyed this sunset ride. The views were terrific! Our guides were great and very friendly. The ride actually lasted longer than 2 hrs and I"m glad the horses knew the way home in the dark! The open fire grilled food after the ride was fantastic, really delicious. My only complaint is that they did not pick us up at our hotel which was slightly outside of the city limits so we had to take a 5 minute taxi ride to and from the designated pick up spot.

Lenny and Santiago were wonderful hosts. The 2 hour horseback riding experience was second to none. And lastly, the Asado was the icing on the cake.

This was by far our favourite activity during our stay in Mendoza. We felt very well looked after by Fran & Santiago and team. The horses were well cared for and expertly paired with their riders. We felt very safe despite having very little riding experience. The roast and wine were great too! Thank you🙏

We had a wonderful experience, Leni and his colleagues are fantastic, they give clear instructions are attentive and patient with each member of the activity. My wife was an absolute beginner and a little scared at the beginning but they paired her with the right horse (Freddie) and she was very soon at ease and very happy. The timing of the ride was perfect we saw a beautiful sunset and the food and wine at the end was great, they catered for us vegetarians with no problem at all .

This was exactly what we were looking for. We're in our 40's, haven't really ridden horses before, and are in pretty decent shape. The horses were nice, well take care of, and easy to learn to ride. The guide was great. About a 2 hour ride in a just beautiful landscape. Such relaxing views. Then the Asado was really fun, felt like we earned it after the ride. We made new friends for the night. So glad we did this, would take this ride again in a heartbeat.

This experience made my first trip to Mendoza amazing. I felt scared at first but the horse was well educated and led me to the beautiful landscape. It was so excited tour since I could impress due to having two wonderful experiences at once, it is worth to see the sunset, silhouette of Andes and smell all kind of nature things. Muscle pain is my good memory as well!
