Very good impression, San Rafael is a beautiful city; since we stayed several days we could observe the kindness of its inhabitants, in shops of different areas and even when we asked some direction to go. The road that borders the Atuel Canyon is mostly ripio and saws, go with caution , bring comfortable clothes and water

It is a very interesting hike through beautiful landscapes, but the distance from Mendoza makes it quite tiring to do in a single day.
Reading the references about San Rafael it strikes me that they do not mention as a tourist place Villa el Nihuil, which begins the famous Canyon del Atuel, which with its beautiful lake of turquoise waters allows sports such as: kitesurfing, windsurfing, jet skiing, canoeing, swimming. Its dunes through a prime of the Dakar, offers the thrill of touring one of the best Dunes in the world by motorcycle, quadricycle, UTV or 4x4, the wonderful fauna of Andean flamingos and diversity of birds, next to a small Villa that radiates tranquility, do not forget to promote and visit it!!
The journey from Mendoza is too long for what one finally knows. The Guide was very good and made it informative and enjoyable, but I think the destination does not merit as many hours of travel on the bus. When you arrive, the views are beautiful, but I don't think they justify the trip.
The city is beautiful, French style, with wide streets and very clean. And the places to visit filled my soul with joy. Atuel Canyon, Valle Grande, Los Reinos, La Villa 25 de Mayo. Etc
Hacer todas las actividades posibles en el rio Athuel. Un lugar hermoso. Muy completo. No es necesario ninguna experiencia previa
Excellent walk, it is beautiful relaxing very nice place, attention , good food and sports , total adventure. I totally recommend it I was delighted with the place.
Feedback I would like to give a feedback on the tour to Actuel Canyon. We loved the Guide and the driver. And we'd have ⁇ the ride a lot more if we hadn't had the luck of being the last to pick up the van. That is why we have the last seats left in the last row. These are small seats, tight and almost windowless. The distance to the front seat is minimal. During the descent to the canyon, we could not see or hear even half of what the Guide was commenting on. It was extremely frustrating, and there was nothing we could do. Another passenger came to the point of taking a picture of what they were seeing to show us. The fact is that we paid the same as the other passengers who were sitting with space and window. And that's not fair. Anyone sitting in the back of the van has an uncomfortable and rather limited experience. And paying the normal price. There is no way to ignore the fact that this is a very big difference. Maybe you shouldn't sell the 4 seats in the bottom and charge a little more than the other places. Who goes to the bottom doesn't choose. The bottom line is that he chooses those who are collected last. And that was our misfortune. We came back with the feeling that we would have to go again to be able to enjoy the experience fully. Unfortunately.
Atuel Canyon, an encounter with nature, both the river and the dam. On the dam, kayaking between the mountain entrances is a must. Also the zip line over the water, and rafting, all recommended.
Both San Rafael (city) and the Atuel Canyon are 10 points. To get from San Rafael to the Canyon there are 2 impeccable routes, it is convenient to go on one and return on the other. There are many cabins in San Rafael to stay.
Very good experience, super friendly guides always willing to answer questions about the place. The activities were organized in a way that we could enjoy them without feeling rushed
Everything is beautiful, very hot, be prepared, I traveled by plane and I don't understand how such a touristy place is, the local people have so little knowledge and I don't know why Google doesn't mention the Iselin bus line that runs routes from Mendoza to San Rafael and from there on route 173 all over Valle Grande, there is no Uber or any application, the taxis are so bad, unpunctual and they say they don't know the places, they run up a mountain and they get lost, without telephone signals and only Persolal eje.Cacheuta.
Stunning views and landscapes, an unmissable walk for the whole family. Along with all the fun and adventures that await in Valle Grande, rafting, rappelling, zip lining, climbing, diving in the Valle Grande reservoir or Los Reyunos.
Everything is excellent. The guide Gastón is spectacular, and super punctual. Additional recreational activities, which are added separately ($7,500 approx each) are also very good (rafting, catamaran, Tibetan bridges and zip line)
The driver and the guide were a 10. But the truck was in poor condition, it did not have rear shock absorbers, which could have caused an accident but luckily it was only two punctured tires and a 3 hour delay to return.
Ideal sunny day, mountains and the beautiful Atuel River, beautiful rafting experience and cool drinks
Very complete tour with beautiful views, we also received a lot of information from our guide Mario who was always very helpful and attentive. The coordination of Travel and Design was excellent. 100% recommended.
Excellent everything. The van is 0 km, super comfortable and comfortable, the guide, Expensive, excellent professional, super informative and friendly. They fulfilled everything! We would do it again without hesitation!!! RECOMMENDABLE 100%
The quite complete walk, good explanation and vibe by the guides, the very nice places, the important stops by the theme food and hydration and the beautiful landscapes
Beautiful landscapes. Guide Mayra excellent. Excellent driver. Perfect agency. Very nice day.
The trip was very nice I met the vineyards .the kings.cannon the tuna .the firewoods third time q iva my husband 1 time
Beautiful landscapes and views of the canyon, a circuit that should be started early to end the rafting experience on the Atuel
In the Big Valley of the Atuel River live a unique experience! You can go river rafting, Canopy, 4x4 dune rides, sail through the water mirror of the catamaran dam and throw yourself away to enjoy it or use canoes or kayack to tour it. The beach is great. It is prepared with sunscreen, food and drinks for the beach, there are no services, or bathrooms. But the place is beautiful. Don't miss it.
Beautiful scenery.. the driver and guide Romi excellent! An energy, attention and sympathy of 10!!
To have maximum score, could have more back support, more structure to receive visitors, but it's okay 👍👍
2 day tour... smart waters, sighting the lush condors, and a walk through the canyons... there are 5 nanregiao hydroelectric plants, limits to the road (bound but good quality)
Bring water and enjoy the roast you make at the end of the tour. The raw ham sandwich can be eaten anywhere
Experiencia hermosa. Lugar hermoso para visitar. Excelente el servicio brindado antes y durante la excursión.
Unmissable, it is to tour and go more than once. I love this place very much, it is the second time I visited it and I marveled again like the first time. Impressive nature, it's really beautiful.
They gave us accessibility in going looking for us. No hurry. The super reliable driver. The super cordial guide. They gave us a diversity of activities. We had a great time. Very much so. We visited the tuna canyon and rafted along the river.
A beautiful place to visit and enjoy, as well as know the history of Mendoza and how everything was formed. Adventure activities in San Rafael are great and full of adrenaline. Traveling with travel & design guarantees comfort and guaranteed enjoyment.
