This trip was my dream for a while now. Thanks to our guide Federico it was beyond expectation, he show us all the places and give recommendations. Road its very difficult and there is a lot of turns, but our driver Matias was very expirience and we feld save. I totally recommend to ear lunch on the last stop!
Our guide Federico was incredible - extremely knowledgeable, positive and very friendly. The amount of time in each location was perfect - not too short or long. The ski lift wasn't open when we drove on the way there, but Federico and our driver Matias stopped on the way back to ensure we didn't miss out. The sights were beautiful - be sure to wear warm clothing! Highly recommend this tour, Matias was a great driver and Federico made the day very enjoyable.
Amazing day trip to the Andes with our excellent and knowledgable guide Frederico and driver Alexis. Stunning scenery and sights. We hired snow boots for use on the journey but only really needed them at Aconcagua view point so if you have waterproof shoes you would not need these. At the lunch stop we opted to use the cafe rather than the buffet restaurant and I would highly recommend the cafe which does tostadas, pizza etc. The lovely friendly staff there offered us a wine tasting along with samples of other products they sold. Trip was well worth the money.
Great tour today, loved the views was definitely a highlight of Mendoza. Our guide Federico and driver Alexis were both vwry professional and provided a comfortable and informative trip. Reccomend for sure while here.
The guide was great, Rocio gave good information and made sure to take the time to explain things in english and spanish. Her explanations were clear, and she made the trip enjoyable. The tour hits the popular spots for great pictures and to enjoy the views. The one thing I wish could be better, was the comfort of the transport. The bus was totally full, and my group of 4 had to take the very last row which is not comfortable for the long hours in the transport.
Our guide was Aida was very knowledgeable and accommodating!
This was such a cool tour, and my guide, Federico, and driver, Alex, were awesome! Highly recommend.
Fede y Alexis son muy buenos at their jobs Alexis’s great driving skills and Fede’s ability to keep everyone engaged on the trip and his friendly demeanor and vibes made the trip 10x better
Tour wat too long and boring. Many hours on the bus. The worst was that the tour operator insisted on keeping us on the bus through stand still traffic through an additional 2 hours just to go to this mediocre at best restaurant (where I assume they get a cut of the sales). We didn’t actually see the mountain. The food was subpar and we paid for it w 2 extra grueling hour on the bus. Do not reccomend.
Excellent trip into the Andes. Short stop at the reservoir for photos. Then onwards for snow hire. I had my rain jacket/ hat & gloves with me so only needed snow boots but found those useful. You might be able to make do with waterproof hiking boots but depends on conditions and we had quite a bit of snow. This also meant no visibility of Aconcagua which was the only disappointment. Everything else was great. Federico was hugely informative, patiently translating in English & Spanish. Tomas drove us safely and delighted that they could arrange pick up from my hotel in Chacras de Coria.
Amazing experience from start to finish! The High Mountain tour was beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of our time in Mendoza. Federico and Juanpi were both awesome, super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day fun and relaxed. They kept everyone engaged, explained everything really well, and made sure the group was comfortable throughout the trip. Would 100% recommend this tour, especially with Federico and Juanpi!
Federico and Matias were great!! We had the best day and even had snow. This was a highlight of the trip for the whole family! We would highly recommend this tour. Bring sunscreen!
Incredible views and new experiences for us. The guide Facundo super knowledgeable and the driver Alexis
Guide: Federico. @Fedeindovina Driver: Alexis They were both amazing. Federico spoke in English and Spanish fluently and helped interpret for us! Alexis managed the high mountain roads and a huge truck traffic jam like a pro, with no stress! Great Mountain Views!
Great excursion! We got to see beautiful landscapes, learn a lot about Mendoza, and also have fun in the snow. Our tour guide, Federico, and driver, Mauro, were amazing! Friendly and super knowledgeable. They provided a lot of information in spanish, and then translated everything to english, so nobody missed any details. The tour lasted around 11hs. We had a lot of fun. 100% recommended!
Rocío, from Capes Tours, was an excellent guide. She spoke about the history of the area and is passionate about the nature we saw. A truly amazing day with Marcelo as our driver. Thank you.
Last minute decision to join the trip. Enjoyed it. Carol was a good guide. The driver was really experienced and safe driving through the Andes mountains. We had a lovely time. One negative feedback was the lunch at the stopover. The meat stew and chicken was very very salty. It was the only restaurant to have lunch so there weren't any other options.
We had a wonderful experience with Cepas Turismo on our Alta Montaña tour! A special thank you to our driver, Sergio, who was very professional and extremely careful, especially considering the snow and cold weather in the mountains. We felt safe with him throughout the entire trip. Our guide, Caro, was excellent—very knowledgeable, well prepared, and always happy to share interesting information about the places we visited. Everything was very well organized and punctual. Even though it was a long tour, we had enough time at every stop and never felt rushed. A beautiful experience in the Andes and definitely a tour we would recommend. Thank you, Sergio and Caro!
This was a fantastic tour with an exceptional guide (Esteban) who translates everything into English in superb detail! He is honestly one of the best guides in any country that I have visited. The deep snow was a great surprise (as I live in Australia). Fantastic views and experience, Highly recommended.
Brilliant day! Frederico was a great guide and Marcelo a good driver. We relaxed, saw loads and learnt lots too. Was a lovely way to finish our time in Mendoza.
The driver and guide were both friendly, professional and did the best they could with the circumstances. I completely understand that the weather is beyond anyone’s control, and I don’t blame the company for that. What I do blame them for is the lack of any worthwhile contingency plan. Instead of adapting the itinerary, we spent around two and a half hours at a remote stop with very little to do and almost no facilities. That isn’t bad weather, it’s poor planning. The minibus was also crammed. I’m only 5ft 9½ and found it uncomfortable for such a long day. Anyone taller would have an even worse experience. Communication was also poor throughout. The only time the company replied quickly was when they were taking payment. Before and after that, responses were slow or unhelpful. The guide and driver deserve credit, but the company’s organisation, communication and contingency planning let the trip down. I wouldn’t book with them again.
Since we visited in Argentina’s winter the weather played a big part in what we were able to see but this was still a fantastic experience! Federico was a wonderful guide and we were able to see so much (including lots of snow). This was definitely a whole day experience but 100% worth it. I could not recommend this more!
I went on the Excursión; Alta Montaña (Excursion; High Mountain) and had a wonderful time. Due to an error with Viator I booked directly with Salvando Las Distances, and I was glad I did as it was a lot cheaper this way and a local business was getting more of my money! The minibus was comfortable, pick up was directly from my hotel and the guide (Aida) was knowledgeable and spoke perfect English! The driver Juan Pablo, was excellent and stuck to the traffic regulations at all times. The itinerary probably follows one similar to other companies, but the guide, driver and personal touches means I can heartily recommend them!
One full day tour to visit the main highlights of Mendoza mountains. Despite the cold temperatures, the organization was pretty good and Hugo, the guide very knowledgeable. Mauro, the driver of the comfortable van, was also friendly despite the long drive to show us all the main importants sites around Mendoza.
Hugely recommended tour. The guide Federico (@Fedeindovina) and driver (Juan Pablo) were excellent throughout with alot of information and history provided along the route and at the different visit sites. They chose stops well and allowed enough time at stops to explore. The scenery is spectacular all along the route, great food and drinks and plenty of toilet stops. Federico even planned the timing so that our first stop was at sunrise to see golden light on mountains. Do this tour if you only do one tour in Mendoza.
This was an excellent tour, led by a very passionate guide and I would highly recommend it. We started with a short stop for breakfast/coffee and then on to our first stop by the lake, which was beautiful. The story of the water of Mendoza began there and ended near the Chilean border where the tributaries of the Mendoza River originate. A fine tour along Highway number 7 with a number of excellent stops in between. Esteban was our guide with excellent English and a highly passionate and well informed guide he is. Highly recommend
The tour were amazing! Frederico & Juan are both very nice & helpful! Highly recommend their service!!!
Federico and Juan were a great guide and driver, respectively. Federico kept us entertained throughout the visit and explained all the points of interests very well. Juan drove well and safely. We had stops at regular intervals where we got good quality, coffee and food. I would highly recommend this tour.
Everything was absolutely amazing. Federico and Marcelo were great as guide and driver, schedule was followed strictly, sights were incredible and the non-planned lift ride at the ski station was a great plus! I totally recommend it.
Federico and Marcelo were great tour guides! They picked us up right from our Airbnb and were very timely! Federico shared a lot about the area beyond the mountains and Incan bridge, which was awesome! @fedeindovina
We had a wonderful experience, and we would like to thank our tour guides, Matias and Aida. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the entire trip. They made us feel welcome, answered all our questions, and ensured everything went smoothly. Their knowledge, kindness, and positive attitude made the experience even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated their excellent service and highly recommend them to anyone visiting. Thank you, Matias and Aida, for making our trip so memorable!
I have gone on day tours all over the world and only speaking english has never been a problem until this tour in Argentina. first let me say that i must have drawn the short straw to been the last person picked up and therefore got the very last seat on the bus which was wedge in the corner without the ability to move or see much while traveling. given that you are on the bus 80% this was a huge fail for me. when asking if we could mix up the seats after a few stops i was informed that it was too bad. I am only 5'3' so i can't imagine if someone of size had to sit there all day. now about the tour. the scenery is spectacular. we loved the mountains and the stops were pretty good But we were the only english speakers on the tour. so the guide would speak for 20 min about something and then give us a 3 to 4 sentence of what we passed miles ago. when we asked for more details I personally think that made it worse and we got zero details at the inca bridge. I was not a happy about this and dont feel like we had any options to do anything but suffer through....
Overall this was well worth doing; the Inca bridge and views of Aconcagua justify the bus trip. Allowing for the time of year and water levels the Potrerillos Dam and lake were underwhelming. Aida did an excellent job as.our guide
This was a day very well spent during our stay in Mendoza. Federico was an awesome guide and took such good care of our van of 15 people. It was an early start to the day, but that meant that we were able to witness a beautiful sunrise illuminate the mountains. Federico's communication via Whatsapp prior to our pickup in the morning helped us be ready to be out the door and meet the van. He gives so much information along the way, which is a long drive. But there is so much gorgeous and ever-changing scenery to see (and we come from a state of mountainous scenery). The stops along the way were perfectly paced. Our driver, Alexis, was so smooth, safe, and patient, and the van was clean and comfy. We were very fortunate with our clear, cold, and sunny weather. This is an easy outing for all ages, although children might get restless. We really enjoyed the lunch at the end before turning to go back to Mendoza. It was a great hot meal served buffet style at a rustic mountain lodge (there was an option to buy sandwiches at an adjacent cafe). Federico went the extra mile helping me to set up a wine tour with the same company, Cepas Turismo. I highly recommend them.
Federico and Alexis were excellent
This was a great addition to my trip to Mendoza, it was great way to see the mountains and you really cover some distance. Our guide Federico and driver Alexis were great and very accommodating throughout the day.
Thank you, Frederico, for the wonderful hospitality. The tour was both informative and inspiring – we will definitely recommend it.
We had a great day on this tour. It is an early start but worth it for the views. You really get a chance to see the different type of Andean mountains near Mendoza. Beautiful views throughout. The day includes a few stops for bathrooms/food throughout. Our guide was Federico, who was excellent. He was able to share a lot of great information and managed a Spanish/English tour really well so no one felt left out. Brian was our driver. He was great and drove smoothly and safely throughout the day. He also had a playlist for certain sections of the road which was a really nice touch. Both made up a great team.
Long bus rides. Landscape around the rides is actually much more spectacular than the view of Aconcagua itself. The Inca bridge is more spectacular in person than any picture and was the highlight. Of course, I like geology…. Guide Estiban was excellent, and made sure that we, the only non-Spanish speakers, got the full story (if not all the jokes).
I had a wonderful time on this tour with Federico (guide) and Alexis (driver). Fede struck the right balance between information and giving us space to explore. His bilingualism was very helpful. It was a long smooth drive with Alexis. My only feedback point would be to bring more than a raincoat as advised - it was minus 2 degrees at the final stop and you needed a hat, gloves etc. muchas gracias!
Excellent, patient and very good English translations. Incredible scenery! Very good value for money.
Views were amazing driving thru the Andes, we were lucky to get to see a condor and some guanacos too. Our guide Ro and driver Ale were very attentive and knowledgeable.
It was an amazing experience. They were on time for the pickup and Los Andes are beautiful. It worth every penny. Fede and Hernán were our guide and Fede is very knowledgeable and kind.
Great tour. Beautiful natural sceneries. Our guide Federico was knowledge. He was fluent with English so was a plus. Our driver, Brian was skilled as some drives were off road. It was worthwhile to spend 8 hours in Argentine mountains and soak in the beauty and the culture. Kudos to Cepas Turiamo.
Can’t recommend this enough. I was going to hire a car, but when I saw this tour, it exceeded all my expectations. From Federico’s clear and interesting information to Matias smooth driving and great tunes, everything was fantastic. A great day with amazing scenery and a lovely, well-run excursion. Shout out to Federico and Matias!
Fantastic excursion! Frederico and Martin, our guide and driver, were amazing! Frederico is very versatile, speaking both English and Spanish, and he shared all the information we needed. Thanks again!
Daylong tour in a gorgeous day, with very entertaining and joyful guide Nadia and expert driver Juan Pablo. The natural beauty of the mountains highlighted the tour along route 7, and the weather enabled beautiful long distance views of Aconcagua and going up to the Cristo Redentor in the border with Chile.
Excellent tour well worth the money
This was a wonderful day trip into the Andes. Our guide Federico was excellent and very knowledgeable. He provided lots of good information and answered all our questions. The trip was paced well with good amount of stops for pictures and snacks. This was a very memorable trip. Hats off to Alejandro on navigating the roads!
