Exploring El Enemigo & Casa Vigil / Meet Mendoza´s Wine Icon

Do not book this tour! It is a total scam. It is only transportation, nothing else. Instead of $172 for 2 people we could have taken an uber for around $30 roundtrip from Mendoza. I am so upset about this and have been trying to get my money back. Once you are dropped there, you will have to spend more money. Also, it is not really a vineyard! It is a restaurant! The real vineyard is in Valle de Luco. I will continue to try and get a refund and report this company as a scam.

While we enjoyed our visit to El Enemigo & Casa Vigil you should know that this is not a tour. You are paying for transportation to El Enemigo and a table at Casa Vigil. The restaurant is very good, but very expensive. The wine is good, but expensive. We had an excellent server who know a great deal about the wine and enhanced our experience but we did not "explore" El Enemigo and we did not "meet" Mendoza's wine icon.

Very disappointed . We purchased a tour of a winery . .Futuro travel driver Boris changed at the last minute and sent an uber to pick us up at the hotel . The car was old and small . The driver was totally unprepared and he arrived late .Viator should pay us a refund .

An over the top wine tour and tasting with all of the top Argentinian varietals. The three course lunch was over the top with delicious Argentinian beef, but a menu that also had delicious sounding vegan plates! The wine flowed so freely that I had more when I finished lunch than when I started! This puts the best Napa, California tours to shame!

The experience must start with the tour. They sat us facing each other at a table for lunch and it was 12:30. We felt that lunch was "mandatory," when it should be optional since one pays quite a lot just to enter each Vigil for a tour that lasts half an hour.

We were fascinated by the visit we made at this vineyard; great wines, very friendly service, beautiful place, well taken care of.

The restaurant and the food are great but the tour left much to be desired. There is no vineyard, it is the property of the owner with beautiful ornamental vineyards, a good store and a beautiful restaurant. "The tour" lasts 15 minutes to show works of Divine Comedy with tasting. Nothing to do with a tour of wineries. Casa Vigil's wineries are in other places far away. I bought the package here thinking I would have a real tour but it was only the transfer and Mendoza to the restaurant something like 30 minutes drive. For this service I paid very expensive( R$904,00) or 244,000 pesos for the transportation of 2 people. I recommend lunch at the Vigil house but do not recommend this poorly explained and expensive package. Use a taxi or Uber you earn more.

Wonderful! The seat is beautiful! The delicious wine, the somelier that received us was super attentive, polite and friendly. Couldn't be more pleased with the experience.

They just take us out to eat and they don't give us a tour or tell us a story about the place. it's very basic. they eat and they take us out to buy wines, that's all.

The wine experience could be better, rich food and proper facilities, do not explain each wine, leave it to the judgment

Truthfully the dream place, lunch and very good tasting. But I still haven’t figured out what they call experience and charge you along with fairly expensive transportation. Please advise yourself before booking.

Visiting the Casa Vigil winery consists of going to enjoy a lunch (which is paid there, is not included in the $230,000 I paid to go through Tripadvisor). No sense to book through Tripadvisor or another, it is advisable to book directly at home vigil and go by your own means. Expensive came out, 230,000 to go (2 people) and then pay for lunch apart ($350,000 for 2 people the cheapest version)

Wonderful place .. polite and kind staff , plenty of food and drinks .. and guided visit to the vineyard was wonderful c Jorge telling the story .. and Valentina very good service!!

Incredible culinary experience and for wine and art lovers. Worth the investment definitely! Excellent

Respecto de la experiencia de almuerzo nos pareció óptima con buena atención y vinos sobresalientes. Quizá teníamos una expectativa más alta sobre el recorrido por la bodega. El operador que nos tocó (Futuro travels) también hace que la experiencia fuese regular ya que no cumplió con lo pactado y no fue claro en varios puntos.

We made the trip with Francisco who is very attentive and has a pretty nice conversation. The 3 step lunch with tasting was wonderful, an incredible experience. The visit well relaxed and interesting. I highly recommend this tour. It's high-level and differentiated.
