Alejandro was kind and helpful, informative, and very cheerful which made our day. With great English!!

This was a wonderful experience and brief emergence into the Andes. I would highly recommend. Only thing I wish we knew was that the rental of snow boots and pants was not required (although boots were nice for those who only wore sneakers) as the snow at this time (October) was not that deep
This tour was superb . I’m so glad I went . Price was excellent value for money . Lunch was good , the views were out of this world . Driver was very good as well , guide was the best , nice smooth ride to all the stops . I honestly can’t say anything bad about this tour . Do it with this company it honestly is the best tour I’ve done since I’ve been here .
This was an amazing experience. The guide told us stories about the places we visited and also give us enough time to explore them.
Incredible, once-in-a-lifetime scenery! Our guide, Facundo, made sure to include me and my partner (we only speak English) even though we were the only non-Spanish speakers. We stopped for breakfast and lunch and I got food to eat everywhere as a celiac.
This was an incredible tour of the Andes during the fall here in Argentina. We were picked up at our chosen location in a very comfortable van. The guide, Alejandro, gave the explanations about each stop as well as the history of sites that we passed along the way in both Spanish and English (my colleague and I were the only ones who requested English). We had enough time at each stop to take pictures and browse the market stalls for local artisans and vendors if we wanted. The lunch location was fine although not the best quality - we brought snacks with us but still ended up getting the semi-buffet lunch (this was completely optional and not officially part of the tour). Overall, we highly enjoyed this tour, and our guide was fantastic. Highly recommended!
Great tour, highly recommend it. The guide was great, the stops were fun, educational, and gorgeous. Very well priced for how long the tour is as well. No problems throughout the tour, plus they will pick you up from your hotel if you’re within a certain perimeter in Mendoza.
We had a tremendous experience in the High Mountains Tour. Aída was the consummate guide, sharing her knowledge of the area as well as many historic references. Fluently in both Spanish and English, she richly described the countryside and specific points of interest. Ariel was a phenomenal driver, negotiating roads with ease and aplomb. I would highly recommend joining Aida and Ariel for a memorable trip.
Amazing views of the Andes Mountains. The tour guide, Aida, was excellent at describing the surroundings and injecting stories and history along the way. Ariel, the driver, navigated the exciting roads with ease and we made great time.
We had a fabulous time the support before and after was fantastic. We had Aida as our tour guide a d she was amazing with her organisation , knowledge and sharing wonderful experiences. Aerial was our driver and he complemented the tour not only with wonderful driving skills but spot on qué with great music tracks to fit scenery, experience or when we were just driving. We highly recommend them as they made the day full of wonderful memories which we will treasure forever. Thank you Aida, Aerial and Dolares.
Overall: This scenery on this experience was good however the journey was padded with unnecessary stops in an effort to force you to spend. Pick Up: They were 40 min late but they communicated. It happens. The bus was a compact 12-15 seater- so be prepared to be close to your Neighbour. Out bus was packed to capacity. Bus Ride: The bus ride was bumpy- but the company is unable to do anything about the roads so don’t hold it against them. However, this is where I call foul. The tour guide Facunda was dishonest. For the entire journey he spoke Spanish- we thought we booked the wrong tour. The entire 2 back rows didn’t speak Spanish. After, we all confirmed we booked an English tour we approached him just to clarify. When we approached him at our stopped and said he didn’t want to speak English because he didn’t want to disturb us; and said we didn’t look attentive. I was sooo taken aback in disbelief - Like WHAT?? Then he went further to be blatantly dishonest and said we were sleeping- now that just triggered us. We just got on the bus- we are all looking out the window- all the English speakers at the back not following; and we made no issue- and just patiently waited. Why not just be honest to say you forgot 🤷🏽♀️ and thanks for the reminder- we would have just brushed it off. Instead he kept pushing and insisting we were ALL asleep (all 6 English speakers at the back). That soured the trip entirely. 1st Stop: They stopped to take pictures- this was a quick 10 min stopped. 2nd stop Breakfast stop- EXTREMELY overpriced. Tip go the smaller cafe next door : quiet and super affordable. 3rd stop: We stopped at another impromptu stop to look up towards a hill. Most of us stayed in the bus. 4th stop: The Andes (orangish colour hills) in the picture. This was the ONLY required stop: the views were amazing. We were also able to buy souvenirs- also very expensive; but we were happy to support the locals. All the other stops were unnecessary- and just served as means to facilitate buying something from Vendkrs. 5th stop: We drove to the top of a hill- and they referred it to the middle point between Chile and Argentina- with two flag poles to signify the stop. However, ofc- they ushered us to buy souvenirs. When I saw the tour guide head around the counter to collect cash and assist sales - I already knew what time it was 🤣 6th stop: You guessed right - more buying. It was a restaurant -for $25-27USD. That was surprisingly when I heard the other passengers complaining —and also saying it was not as tasty. I thought they must have misunderstood the price or exchange rate. We didn’t have any food there so it’s wouldn’t be fair to comment on it; as we didn’t eat any. Also, understandably, unless you are purchasing, you are unable to dine or sit inside but you can sit on the bus. 7th stop; Bathroom and cafe stop to buy items - we didn’t get off the bus. Ultimately the trip was a solid 4/10- extremely underwhelming. The 4th stop was the only necessary stop. If they restructured the trip to stop for breakfast then go to that 4th stop- it would be great. Also, 4th stop had freshly made local food. But overall, it seemed geared towards local purchases and it was a LONG ride. However, the view for stop 4 was amazing. Cons: (1) tour guide - spoke Spanish and then tried to lie on us (unnecessarily) (2) way to long- padded with unnecessary stops (3) extremely pricey food stops (4) Underwhelming for the cost Pro; (1) the views of the Andes was amazing Tip: (1) Take your own food. Eat breakfast at home if you can. (2) Take a sweater (3) ENSURE you book an English guide or one that won’t gaslight you into thinking him not speaking English is your fault. So you are comfy to ask questions and communicate. (4) Pack your own lunch like a sandwich- and even take your own drinks if you wish. We paid $4usd for a soda 🥲 (5) Make friends with your seat mate- it makes the journey easier. Our seat mates were supper friendly - and we all tried in our own way to manage on own when we had no English narrative. To Faccunda credit, after we spoke to him, he tried after to speak English but said his English was bad so that’s why he wasn’t too keen on leading in English. We would have preferred that excuse than lying on the group. Quite frankly- we didn’t mind- we were able to follow. Tip to organizers: 1. Don’t assume everyone speaks Spanish- this trip- most persons spoke English. Be inclusive and accommodating to everyone. The bus driver seemed annoyed when others wanted to get back on the bus earlier during a stop. I said to my seat mate- perhaps he was told to only allow us back us closing to departure. Personally we didn’t have that issue - but it was mentioned by them
Our guide was amazing and the views were incredible.
The whole tour was great. The guide spoke perfect English and Spanish and all the stops were great, I would recommend it to anyone!
Very well organized, breaks long how needed, friendy atmosphere, fortunately perfect weather. Without long distances by foot but including all what can be seen in the time frame of one day. My evaluation is 100% positive.
This trip was awesome. Our guide (Hugo) and driver (Diego) were superb. Hugo was very knowledgeable about the landscapes and the history of all we saw. The day is a FULL one - it packs in some amazing view points and is a great introduction to the Andes.
I enjoyed today's tour very much. I reallg appreciate for all your help during this tour!
It was a great experience, where we got to see lots of the beautiful Andes mountains :)
Perfect day 🙏 Perfect weather ☀️ Perfect balance from the awesome guide Facundo, between letting us know the history and facts along the way and letting us enjoy the completely mind-blowing drive in silence ❤️. Top it up with an fantastic driver, which is kind of needed in that kind of terrains.
We had a wonderful time on the tour and really appreciated the opportunity to see so many places in one day. Our guide, Rocio, was excellent - very knowledgeable, organised and spoke at length in both English and Spanish.
The scenery was beautiful, with plenty of interesting stops. Our guide and driver were amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly! Our guide spoke multiple languages, great value for money.
Super well planned day trip with all of the stops you could want. I definitely recommend if you have a free day.
Long tour (12 hours) but well worth it! Stunning views of the Andes with several great scenic stops. Better trip than the Andes tour from Santiago- Chilean side. Great tour guide and excellent driver navigating the winding dirt road up to the Christ the Redeemer Statute.
Amazing experience wee saw so much of the Andes and it exceeded my expectations. And our guide Rocío (I think this was her name) was a very bubbly sweet person who made the day so much better
Absolute stellar tour. The guide and driver were great and very informative. The ride was nice, the stops were fantastic, the food was tasty.
Our guide was just so enthusiastic. She answered every question, she took a personal approach with each and every one of us. We encountered some issues with an accident on the roadway and an avalanche as well! They handled everything so well and we’re just so informative. It was a long day about 12 hours, but they made the time pass so well. So grateful for this experience.
A very well organized and great experience with multiple activities included making the long drive an easy day. The tour guide was excellent, and the driver did a great job on challenging roads..
A excellent tour. Our guide was excellent. She explained what we were about to see. Then when we got there she told us what we were seeing.
Great trip. Hugo is an excellent tour guide. Long day for sure but got to see Aconcogua.
Toller Tag mit vielen Highlights. Absolut zu empfehlen. Our guide Ornella was very friendly and gave us a lot of information.
you will see so much in one day it's almost overwhelming! the stops along the way are incredibly stunning. without this tour I likely wouldn't have seen any of it, and it's not too be missed! Our guide, Ornella was on top of every detail and narrated the entire trip in Spanish and English equally; sharing facts, history, and legends as we drove through the Andes. I would recommend bringing your own meal, as the buffet lunch that was offered was a bit pricey for what was available, and a bit underwhelming as a result. Get ready for a bumpy ride, especially if your group gets to go all the way up to Cristo Redentor de los Andes ‐ it is the O.G. way to get to Chile and it is an unpaved, switchback, gravel road.
experience staff organization
The tour was amazing! We all enjoyed it a lot. The guide was super helpful and the tour schedule was perfect. We liked that we had enough time to take pictures while being puntual to the schedule. Everything was satisfying.
Be prepared of mountain vistas like you have never seen before. Especially wonderful were the Puente de Inca & the Christ of the Andes.
Wonderful experience to the Andes from Mendoza: lake Potrrenillos, el puente de l'Inca, view of Aconcagua and Christ Redemeer of the Andes. Kind and experienced guide and driver.
Well worth the coach trip for the magnificent views of the Andes. Excellent driver and informative guide to highlight the many attractions and historical points of interest.
Excellent tour with spectacular sights, wonderful guide (Rocio) and safe driver (Lucas). Loved the place we stopped for lunch, too… a great meal at a fair price.
A lovely trek to get to a mountain peak that straddles the Argentina/Chile border. It was very windy at the locations where we stopped but not excessively cold. The guide was engaging and helpful. The ride back seemed long but they want to get you back as quickly as possible.
We loved this tour. It was well paced, well managed, the guide, Ornella, was welcoming and had lots of local knowledge, without being overbearing with constantly talking. The views are simply incredible whilst driving, I cannot possibly explain how dramatic the environment you drive through is; it’s tempting to nap whilst you travel but stay awake to see incredible sights. Loved the cute dogs at the coffee stop, I nearly brought three of them back with me 😅 Thankfully the road was good enough that we could go up to the Argentinian / Chilean Christ the Redeemer statue; honestly such a wonderful experience - shame there is not passport control to get an entry stamp! If you’re thinking of anything to do in Mendoza, do this, it’s 100% worth it.
I had an unusual situation with my Aconcagua permit, and the team at Viajes & Diseño handled it brilliantly during my booked Aconcagua tour. From the start, María Dolores, the administrator, was super responsive, professional, and friendly. During the tour, Rocío Calancha, our guide, went above and beyond to help me out in my situation. I highly recommend Viajes & Diseño and want to especially thank María Dolores and Rocío for going the extra mile!🙏❤️
Excellent and comprehensive tour with enough time at each stop to appreciate the scenery and take pictures. Great way to see the beautiful area, strongly recommend!
It’s good! I like the introduction on the way and the music that the guide put! The picking is on time. The route also is well organized!
A long day but scenery was amazing. We were fortunate to have good weather and went up the mountain to the statue.
That was wonderful organization and beautiful views. We’ve stopped for the pictures and for the nice coffee. For everything it was enough time
The ascent to the top of the snow-capped mountain was adventurous and the view was exhilarating. Guide Celina offered educational commentary along our journey. We highly recommend this experience. Bring a warm jacket; it's cold and windy at the top!
Great way to see the Andes, it must be amazing in the winter. Romina was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. It’s a long day but enough comfort breaks to stretch your legs etc. Only option for lunch was a set meal for 22000 pesos.
Very well organised trip, and really interesting. We learned a lot in one day, and have some amazing photos. Our guide, Alejandra was great. Just the right amount of information given to us as we drove along. The pick up was on time, the mini-bus was good, with welcome aircon, and our driver was excellent. It's a long day but we'll worth the effort.
I think it is incredible and a must do while in Mendoza. Seeing the beauty of the mountains and the special places and Aconcagua was spectacular. But what truly set your tour apart was the professionalism of the driver and our guide, Roci. Thank you
INCREDIBLE JOURNEY!!! BREATHTAKING VIEWS, GOOD COMPANY, KNOWLEGABLE GUIDE. Unexpected landmarks & sights. DO NOT MISS THIS. One of my favorite days EVER.
