Ian who is our driver and guide is very knowledgeable. We visited four wineries and they were very good. We did enjoy the tour.

Brilliant tour, Ian was great and the vineyards were amazing. Highly recommend if you are are solo or with a group.

How lucky to have perfect weather for a fabulous day of wine tasting in the Yarra Valley. Great driving by Waz, wonderful Australian wines and the happiest group of singing tourists you could hope for.

Visited four cellar doors: 1. Squitchy Lane 2. Sumah (inc lunch) 3. Chandon 4. Yering Farm Loads of wine samples, a great variety of white, rose, sparkling and red wines representative of the valley . Driver was informative and polite and car was immaculate. Bought six bottles at reasonable prices and enjoyed talking with the other guests. A really good day out all in all.

Ben was a fantastic guide and driver. Great sense of humour and very knowledgeable guide. The lunch was delicious - options of beef, chicken, fish or veg. Provided with really good commentary, some fantastic stops for tastings and an enjoyable lunch. The Yarra Valley is just a beautiful location and we had the best weather for it.

Really enjoyed our all-day trip to explore the Yarra Valley! The group was about ~15 folks hailing from around the world. We hit the first winery (Chandon) around 11am and left the final winery (Yering Farm) around 4pm. Pick up/drop-off from the Grand Hyatt was very straightforward. Ian was such a good host, taking us to four different wineries and providing outstanding commentary throughout the day. Started with Chandon where we had a standard tasting of 5 different sparking wines; we then had 15 or so mins to take pictures on the grounds where we saw a kangaroo! Then went to Soumah for another 6 glasses (mix of whites and reds) and lunch where we got a full glass of one of the wines. Next we headed to Squitchy Lane with 7 glasses (mix of whites and reds) and then finally Yering Farm with 4 glasses of wines (whites/reds) and 1 glass of cider (as they have a full apple orchard as well). All in all, a phenomenal day!

This is the perfect wine tour! Ian our guide was the best wine tour guide we have ever had. His local knowledge and easy going manner was a great match. The choice of wineries was superb. We highly recommend doing this tour of you're staying in kr near Melbourne. Centrally located pickup spot made it very easy for us as well.

We read the reviews and were chuffed to bits that Ian was our tour guide and driver. Ian made us all feel welcome, was super helpful and kept us all in tow. Lunch was lovely, catered for our dietary needs. Wine tasting was fun, with such a lovely group of people, a great day out. Well worth it.

Started very upmarket and then declined. Ian our tour leader was very pleasant and did a great job. Not knowing the Yarra Valley wines I thought they were a bit average and venues underwhelming. Our little van developed brake problems at the end but got us home safely.

Do not book with Viator. Book direct with Chillout Tours. On the tour with Chillout Tours we visited 4 fantastic vineyards and had a lovely lunch at the Soumah vineyard. Great day out but please avoid Viator when booking instead book direct with Chillout tours. Viator charges an extra Aud 50 per person without informing you when booking. This provides flexible booking but this is not explained when booking. This transparency is missing so you sign up for a tour paying extra for something you know nothing about when booking which is why avoid viator and sign up direct with Chillout tours an independent operator who provide small personalised hours to all the wine regions in Victoria.

Was a great outing. Lunch was very good. Our tour guide was awesome, and we got to see kangaroos on our way. I really only thought that the one winery that served lunch, was actually fabulous wine( l am quite picky), but still enjoyed the whole experience.

Ian was a great tour guide…He had a fantastic knowledge of Melbourne and the Yarra Valley…It was a wonderfully relaxing day and he made the day so great due to his warming personality…Nothing was too much trouble for him…Would thoroughly recommend Ian and this company for anyone wanting a great day out

Ian was friendly and informative, thank you. My friends and I all had a great day. Lunch was nice at Somah. Moet and chandon was the best for us, last two wineries were not all that impressive, we have had better wines elsewhere. But over all we enjoyed.

Very well organised - our guide Peter was excellent in sharing Melbourne facts, drvining and keeping us entertained. Never felt rushed but kept us on time. Esp as we got to the last 2 wineries. hahaha. All in all a splendid day! Well done Peter!

The wine tour began at a comfortable time of 9.30am allowing for the necessary big breakfast. Our driver, Ian , was friendly and well organised. The group of ten socialised well during the day and enjoyed the four wineries that we visited. Lunch at Squitchy Lane was very good with a fine view. The bubblies at Chandon were outstanding.

Great day out visiting the wineries which included a fabulous lunch at Soumah. Our tour guide, Ian, was very informative and provided lots of facts and entertainment on the trip, some of us even got a free bus ride home, answering his quiz questions. Great fun and a highly recommended trip!

Door to door magical day, made by our great host and driver Ian. The banter, the wines and the lunch (which was excellent), made for a memorable day out with my son. 4 wineries visited and had plenty of time in each. Highly recommend this tour.

Great tour guide and great tour. Very informative and interesting vineyards. Gives you a real feel for the different types of grapes grown and wines made. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fabulous day and Ian was a great host with a wealth of knowledge and he even took us to see some kangaroos in the wild which was a wonderful add on. Highly recommended and the wine farm sommeliers were equally knowledgeable with fabulous wines

This was an awesome tour. We had a great group in our van that made the day even more enjoyable. Ian, our driver was excellent, providing good commentary, but non over-doing it. Domaine Chandon was a highlight largely due to the amazing host for the tasting. Lunch at Soumah was outstanding. We enjoyed Squidgy Lane, but weren’t fans of the last stop. Ir was crowded and the staff was overwhelmed. That said…we had a great time, never feeling rushed and with plenty of time to explore each stop. We also appreciated the pick up and return in Southbank. Our original booking got cancelled and we are glad we were able to reschedule.

A great day trip around some of the Yarra valley wineries. Knowledgeable and informative driver Peter and great company with our fellow travellers. Would highly recommend.

The group was small and the guide helped us introduce ourselves so that over the day there were great conversations alongside the excellent winery visits. The pace was relaxed - the food was very good and the variety of wines enjoyable. An excellent choice for a day trip in a beautiful part of Australia.

Ian was great, great bunch of people. Lovely countryside. Some of the wines weren’t to our taste. Chandon was our favorite.
