Beautiful wineries, all very different in stunning surroundings. The chocolate tasting was such a wonderful experience and the staff were very lovely and welcoming. Paul was our driver and guide and he was lovely and very informative. Would definitely do it all again!!
Beautiful day out to see the countryside, 1 hour drive out of city then hopping from place to place. I liked how we could choose our own restaurant/cafe for lunch or have 1.5 hrs to look at eclectic local Healesville shops. The wineries were good options. Each different and knowledge of region was supurb. Madge was an excellent tour guide.
The wines at Stephanie’s Estate was better than the rest. Wish the tour could have the option of wine pairing with food menus.
The tour guide was great, and the best part about the tour was that we got to stop between towns and visit multiple places we would not have known about otherwise! Although lunch was not included, we stopped for breakfast and lunch so there was opportunity to get breakfast and lunch. I would highly recommend this tour!
Amazing trip, driver was very nice and knowledgeable, had an awesome time with friends, needed a cheese platter at one of the wineries though
Fantastic day, couldn’t have asked for more! The wineries, wine tasting and views were incredible and our guide Madge was great! Would recommend this to anyone wanting to explore the Yarra Valley wineries :)
We are disappointed with the tour. The visit to the Chocolaterie was very rushed with no time allowed to get a coffee or hot chocolate with the couples that did waiting excessive amounts of time to get served. This made us late to the next winery. Was then rushed a bit at St Huberts however the wine tasting was very professional and very well done. We then rushed again to our lunch break in Healesville where our time in the town was cut down by 15 minutes to catch up on time. Somehow this did not help as the tour guide noted on several occasions that we were still behind time. We then proceeded to Medhurst and Fergusson wineries for our next tastings. Both wineries seemed to not very interested in our tour. Medhurst made (16 pax) us stand at the counter in an area that would only comfortably fit 4 people when all of the tables and chairs were vacant and in fact there was no one in the winery at the time. When we arrived at Fergusson we were shuffled into the cellar door and we waited for about 5 minutes with no service with the tour guide finally going to the staff to see “what was going on”. They sent a young lady to serve us who was disinterested and gave no commentary about the wines at all and made us feel like we were just an annoyance. Again we were all made to stand and pass out the wines to everyone in a muddled group. I mentioned this to the tour guide who said that this is just they way they do it. This is quite amazing as we have been to most of the wine regions in Australia and have never been treated this way when going to a winery. We were made to feel like we did not matter and second class as we were on a wine tour. Tour guide did not really seem too interested in remedying the issue and we just felt like she just wanted to get the tour done and go home.
Air-conditioned minibus picked us up at Ringwood Station and about 20 of us enjoyed visiting the Yarra Valley chocolaterie and having three wine tastings. Lunch was at Healesville and not included in the tour cost - this is the only drawback as the description was not fully clear about lunch. However the brewery in Healesville was a great place to have some beer tasting and pizza. Good communication from bus driver throughout the day and we are grateful to him for dropping us off closer to home rather than Ringwood. We visited St Hubert's, Boat O'Craigo and Medhurst. Thank you to the tour company for a smoothly run lovely day out.
The driver was lovely, the wine was delicious and so was the chocolate. Cannot recommend this tour enough. You will meet some incredible people too. For my first tour experience, it was amazing 🧡
Shane was an amazing guide and took us to 3 fantastic vinyards! Medhurst vinyard - our last stop was definitly my favourite. Our first stop was at a choclate factory where we got a tasting and even though I told myself not to buy anything I couldn't resist.. It got a bit stressful at times where we had to rush off to the next spot. Wouldn't have minded a longer stay at each location, with time to have a walk around or sit in the sun for a minute. Overall a great tour and we got the luck of spendning it with a great group of people, that even contained a proposal! All the best to the happy two <3 Will absolutley recomend this tour!
Fantastic tour…chocolate factory and wineries were all wonderful. Scenery and tour guide were both great. Highly recommend!!
Fantastic tour! We loved the St. Huberts Cellar door wine tasting and the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie the best. Shane was an excellent guide as well. If we were to change anything, we would have added a stop to try cheeses too (or had a cheese/charcuterie included with the wine tasting). Overall, it was well worth the money and I would recommend it!
A perfect day tour to explore Yarra valley and of course wine tasting. It covers visit to Yarra valley chocolaterie and icecreamary and 3 wine tastings.
It's a beautiful green and quiet place to visit and lots of wine tests. If you like wine or chocolate you would love the tour.
Joined the tour in Oct to Yarra Valley, Tim was the guide who welcomed everyone on board the bus. He was engaging and shared great knowledge regarding the landmarks along the journey right from the pick up point to Yarra. The tour is unique for wine tasting, where the group was brought to multiple wineries to have a taste of the local produce, as well as to have some chocolate tasting. Overall a relaxing tour to go for.
We had a fabulous day with Maj (driver) on our Yarra Valley tour of Chocolaterie, Healesville and three vineyards. The places visited were all welcoming and had the most amazing scenery, food and wine. Also had a great mix of fun people on the bus to chat with. Thank you Wildlife Tours!
John, our guide, was really friendly. The group size was small due to COVID-19, so it was nice and intimate. Wasn't too interested in the beer tasting, but everything else was good. Could have added another winery since we had some extra time. Would recommend to swap out the beer tasting with 1-2 other wineries. Overall, good experience!
Leon was our guide. He was absolutely lovely and so helpful. He got a whole group of strangers bonding over a fun game of bocce baall. I asked him about what wines we'd be tasting at each venue and he called ahead to make sure I could try a specific variety. In addition to wine, we tried chocolates, cider and fresh local produce. Despite the rainy day, me and my friends had such a fun time. Highly recommend for anyone with a mild to above-average interest in wine.
Really good tour. Could not fault anything. Driver Tim G turned up on time, gave commentary about where going and what to expect
Great hosts, great combo of chocolate factory, strawberry farm, brewery and two wineries with lunch in the middle! A well planned and thought out day.
the Yarra Valley Wine tour was well organised and great to have so many different experiences like the farm store and craft beer as well as the chocolates and wines . This was a our first trip to the Yarra Valley and we were very impressed. Our tour driver Peter was exceptional with his knowledge and personality and certainly made the day most enjoyable.
Kate was a wonderful guide, enthusiastic and knowledgeable . The businesses chosen for the trip were wonderful not to mention the enjoyable lunch at Killara Estate. Also loved the dips and relishes at Gateway estate. Wold highly recommend this tour
A great mix of wine tasting, delicious lunch and beautiful scenery. The last stop at Moet and Chandon was the icing ( bubbles) on the cake!. Our guide was very informative and friendly. Highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Carl was awesome. The area is beautiful! This tour was the perfect combination great tastings. I would recommend this tour!
Had a lovely trip visiting winery’s and chocolate factory , tasting cider and beer as well as cheese . Awesome tour guide as well giving a running commentary as we traveled great day
A really good full day trip. Starting off at a local market garden which grew, made and sold a really wide range of delicious things to eat and drink, followed by a stop at a chocolate factory. After that we went to a brewery and tried their beers and ciders before going to the first of three vineyards where we had lunch and sampled some great wines. Our driver/guide Peter was incredibly knowledgeable, and made sure that he gave personal attention to everyone on the tour - this made it a really good, relaxed day out. Definitely recommended if you like good food, good beer and wine and good company.
Really enjoyed the day. Liked how there was more of a variety with the tour rather than 5 wine tastings. Each place had their own story which I always find the most interesting. Tour guide was really great as well. Threw in some fun facts, played some really great music, and gave some helpful tips when going into each of the locations. My two pieces of feedback would be to change up the last winery location (Hanrahan) not the most exciting and not a great a variety of wines to choose from. Lastly including the chocolate tasting as part of cost (it's only $3).
During this tour, we had the chance to taste the real Aussie! Local wine, cider and chocolate :) The landscapes are also amazing with mountains ranges and vineyards The guide was perfect, so I recommand this tour to anybody!
Tour packed with interesting visits from start till end. Guide Fraser was very entertaining and lively.
Great day out with my mum in the Yarra Valley. We tried the local produce and some home make liquors. The chocolate factory was amazing. Our tour guide Fraser was really good and he knew a lot about all the places we went too
This tour is fantastic, Allan the guide is absolutely awesome very friendly and engaging with his customers. The wineries/breweries were amazing, this tour has to be the best from Melbourne. The included lunch is crazy good i can't believe the tour with all this included was so cheap. i wouldn't go past this one if i were you.
Myself and a few friends went on this tour and were not disappointed. Hiro was our driver and he was lovely and knowledgable, even fit in an extra wine tasting for us at the end of the day. Would 100% recommend, some beautiful locations in the Yarra Valley.
We were attracted to this tour because it was more than just wine tasting. The stops were all long enough but not too long and all were informative. While clearly the hosts were interested in making sales, it was not pushy in any way. Simon, our guide, did not talk all the time which we appreciated. Lovely scenery and good food and drink.
Was a great day with lots of variety and beautiful views. Loved the first stop at Gateway with the capsicums and sausage rolls.... the capsicum relish was delicious too. Lunch was yum but thought a drink was included too. Great day with plenty of time at each place - not rushed at all. Glenn was our guide and he provided good information about each place and had great banter too :)
I absolutely recommend this tour - beautiful location, worth the drive away from the city! The wine was wonderful and all locations unique. The guide was friendly and helpful. Rating 4 stars because we spent far too long at the chocolate location (over an hour), but there was nothing planned there like there were at the other locations (no guide telling us about the place for example).

Very enjoyable day in the Yarra Valley. Excellent tour guide John. Great range of places visited. Highly recommended.

A great day out in the Yarra Valley led by the friendly and knowledgeable Simon Q. My partner and I took this tour as we were interested in more than just wine and it did not disappoint. We were lucky enough to sample not only some great wines but also ciders, beers, chocolate and strawberries which all were very tasty, and learn about the area. The only thing I could complain about was having to wake up so early but without doing so we wouldn't have had time to enjoy the valley! Would recommend.

Loved this tour and would recommend to anyone who enjoys great wine, spirits, beer, and gourmet food. Started off by visiting a lovely green house that grew capsicums peppers and strawberries. After touring the greenhouses, we sampled a lovely platter of fresh strawberries, local cheese, pepper jellies amd spreads, plus strawberry Port, liquer, and cream. Fantastic! Next stop was a Chocolate and Ice Ceam shop. Huge bowls of chocolate greeted us and the products available to purchase was vast. From there we went to a lovely winery situated on top of a hill with a lovely view of the vineyards below. To our great delight there were wild kangaroos in the fields and all of us loved to watch them bound about while we sampled some fine wine. Also had our lunch here with scrumptious jumbo porcini tortellini or wood fired thin crust pizza. Delicious! Our next stop was Napoleon Brewery with ice cold cider and superb cold beers. After that another lovely vineyard in the hills. What a wonderful day and would highly recommend to anyone.

Everyone who visits Melbourne has to take this tour. The scenery is beautiful and experience unforgettable.

Very enjoyable, laid back tour. Excellent tastings and a really good lunch with Adrian, the guide, excellent.

Great variety of food, cider and wine locations. Our guide Pete I think it was Pete was very funny and kept the group upbeat during the day.

Great way to see Melbourne's scenic wine region. Our tour guide David was funny, friendly and knowledgeable and made the day flow so smoothly. There is a range of different places to see including a cider Napoleone, a few vineyards, and the Chocolaterie prepare for a sugar hit so there is something to please everyone.

This a great tour with a variety of experiences, not just wine tasting. We were picked up from St Paul's Cathedral in the city and the 65 kms drive to the valley was good. We had 17 on our trip which was a good size. Unfortunately we were a week too late to see capsicums growing in the green house at Gateway Estates, but still had the opportunity to taste various relishes and cheeses.
Pete's jokes are something else but he was a great tour guide. Would highly recommend this tour.

Awesome tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide, plenty of good food and a good selection of wine, beer and cider.

I would recommend this tour to everyone who likes vine. It was an amazing experience to taste all different varieties of wines that is made in the region. The best thing was when we crashed the festive on one of the estate. If you want a relaxing tour this is it.

A great day tour. Our guide Leon was great, his commentary all day was very informative. The tour was varied, we saw how hydroponic capsicums and strawberries are grown and tasted wonderful local produce. Lunch and tasting at Rochford Winery was a highlight. Enjoyed a game of Pentonque at Dominique Perret, then went on to sample wonderful wines, apple cider and boutique beer, chocolate and ice cream and wood fired pizza. Great value for money and a fabulous day out. Would highly recommend this tour.

Great wineries, fabulous lunch and fun tour companions

Very good. Simon Q our tour guide was lovely and very informative.

What makes your trip more enjoyable? Your tour guide. Rob L. is the man. Always very polite and passionate from the way he introduced the farm and wineries, and so knowledgeable about the business. The lunch served at the winery was well prepared as expected I always enjoyed the food at winery, though I don't really know wine. In addition, snacking at farm, winery, and chocolaterie really made my day. :D And I bought some wines that are not common in the market.
