Amazing way to see Melbourne up close and cover a lot of ground. Ride was very beginner friendly with mostly flat surfaces. Melbourne is incredibly bike friendly with lots of bike lanes. Our guide Marcus was great, took good care of us on the road and shared good info on Melbourne culture and history throughout the tour. Highly recommend!

Discover Cook’s cottage, which was shipped out from England and rebuilt, brick by brick, in the middle of the must-see Fitzroy Gardens.
Built to demonstrate the wealth of Melbourne which was then one of the richest cities in the world due to the gold rush.
Visit this magnificent building and still functioning ode to the international exhibition movement of the 19th century where people met to exchange goods, technology, ideas, culture and values.

Absolutely perfect and fun way to see Melbourne. I was so impressed with my guide Marcus on his knowledge of Melbourne. Really, really fun activity especially with this tour company.
A fabulous bike ride around Melbourene at a leisurely pace. Bikes and helmets were in great condition and our tour guide Max was very informative.
The e-bikes were great - best ever. Our guide was awesome and the tour was enjoyable. A constructive comment: lunch stop was too long and made us rush a bit to the finish. Is the stop for lunch necessary?
Marcus, our guide was very entertaining and informative about Melbourne’s history and culture. He led us through an interesting mix of the city’s most popular sights and neighborhoods.
Al was a fantastic guide. I would really recommend this tour if you want to see the sights of Melbourne by bike. Stopped at a fantastic cafe for lunch which serves great food. No hesitation in recommending this tour 👍👍⭐️
We absolutely loved our bike tour through Melbourne with Freddy, our amazing guide! Biking was an awesome way to get to see a lot of Melbourne in a short amount of time. The bikes were easy to use (peddle assist) and we felt very safe on the roads. I highly recommend Blue Tongue Bikes!!
Excellent way to see a lot of Melbourne in a day. We were a bit delayed due to the F1 race being in town which impacted public transport, our fellow riders and our guide, Freddy, were very accommodating. We learned a good amount about Melbourne, including history of the area, sports history, and went to so many places we might otherwise not have visited during our day in the area. We biked along the Yarra River and stopped at a great local eatery for lunch. Super cute restaurant with a great local vibe and amazing aesthetic. Everyone was provided an e-bike, which made it a great trip for all levels & easy to keep everyone together. Highly recommend Freddy & this tour with Blue Tongue Bikes!
It was amazing!! Our guy Freddie was awesome and very knowledgeable and friendly. He was also very safe.
We had a great time bicycling around Melbourne with Al. The city if very bike friendly. We were a small group and learned a lot about Melbourne's history. The lunch spot was very tastey and relaxed
Challenging biking tour in the City. The Guide is very very kind and knowledgeable, but less historical speech, and more riding and to include some stops on nice spots to get to some pictures ! (that is what we visitors want). I would remove the lunch stop, because that makes the riding short. Maybe by opening tours with lunch break incl. or not so the guests can choose
A Great way to see the city, Freddy was a great guide! Even got to see a bit of the tennis for free!
This was one of our better bike tours. We covered about 10 miles on our e-bikes. What a great way to see more of Melbourne. Our guide had good passion, and the three hours passed by very quickly.
Never tried an e-bike before and loved it. A great way to see the city of Melbourne and our guide and owner of Blue Tongue was very informative and chatty. Highly recommend.
Very nice overview of the history of Melbourne and the local area. We had 10 or 11 stops with a nice discussion at each. The lunch stop was at a unique eatery and was delicious. We did use e bikes which was not obvious from the tour description. The address given is useful for getting dropped off, but is not quite where the business entrance is. The area around the shop is a bit sketchy, but the employees were all super cool.
I enjoyed the tour with Marcus. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The bikes were fine and the lunch was enjoyable. The pace of the tour was a too slow for my liking (but that may be a plus for others) and I've gotten spoiled by bike tours that use an electronic communication system that allows the guide to point out things while we are riding and not just when stopped. I would recommend this tour to future travelers.
Great time with Marcus. He told us a lot about the city and its history. He made sure everyone was safe. He took us to a great place for brunch. Thank you!
Max was excellent!! He was conscious of the safety factor, very knowledgeable of Melbourne, stopped at a great lunch place & gave us of a recommendation of a great dinner place that we tried & loved. Thanks so much Max!! Highly recommend this activity to any visitor to Melbourne; gives a great overview of the city.
Great tour around Melbourne CBD. Marcus was a wealth of knowledge, history and about Melbourne. Nice cafe stop for lunch. Relaxed riding made for plenty of sight seeing. Thanks Marcus.
This was such a great way to see Melbourne and to learn more about the city. Our guide, Max, was friendly and informative. We had a great day.
A perfect way to get acquainted with different part of the city! Highly recommended. Use of e-bikes makes this suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.
Excellent tour with Freddy! Saw a huge amount of the city and learned loads about Melbourne. Bikes were in great condition. Stopped for delicious coffee and food in Fitzroy, a place we would happily return to! Great operation overall! Thanks
Had a great day, highly recommended booking this tour Family friendly ride. Very informative and great lunch stop.
Great way to see the main attractions outside of the CBD. You don’t need to be fit as the bikes are electric. Our guide Leroy made sure we all kept together & was very keen on safety ( without being boring) The cafe we stopped at offered a good selection of drinks / food a fair prices( if you wanted to buy). I’d definitely recommend combining this with a walking tour of the CBD ( on a different day!) - great ways to see this amazing city
Ciarán was a nice guide! The tour was fabiurous and every participants was very friendly. We talked a lot during the tour. Great experience with my trip.
This tour had its moments, but for the price, I expected more. Riding e-bikes through a busy city was certainly an adventure—think ‘sightseeing meets obstacle course’—but it sometimes felt like we were too focused on dodging pedestrians to really take in the sights. The historical insights were light, and the tour itself was shorter than expected. That said, if you’re looking for a fun, fast-paced way to see the city and don’t mind a little chaos, you might enjoy it! But if you’re after a deep dive into history, a walking tour is probably the better bet."
Tour was in total rain, but ride was great. Bike was great. I am used to more information on my tours; however, the rain may have made it harder to communicate a lot. I still really enjoyed my tour & would recommend it.
This was the best way to see Melbourne in one day and Finn was a great guide, highly recommend this tour! We used EBikes
Fabulous tour round the city with the very knowledgeable Finn. Great way to see Melbourne. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Our Guide Finn was very knowledgeable and informative on this beautiful casual ride. He kept a great pace and was attentive to each of us in the group. I highly recommend this mountain bike tour of Melbourne.
Great tour! Beautiful city. Our guide, Matt, taught a lot about Melbourne and it's history. The only drawback was the bike seat are not comfortable
The tour was beautiful and the city is beautiful, the tour guide Finn was fantastic and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that i thought i had signed up for an enike tour but apparently i signed up for a regular bike tour. They offer both types. It was my own fault, I would just warn others to be careful that you sign up for the tour you want. Luckily most of it is pretty flat riding
Enjoyed the tour of the city and the history of all the sights we visited, our tour leader was very friendly & helpful
Great guide and great tour. We learned quite a bit from the guide about Melbourne its history. We would recommend the tour to anyone
Great day riding bikes thru Melbourne! Our guide Finn was engaging, informative, and kept a good pace for a variety of different level bicycling enthusiasts.
This was the absolute best tour! Our tour guide was awesome! He was warm and welcoming and made the tour fun! He provided a wealth of information about Australia and Melbourne! The tour was a great overview of the city! Definitely recommended!
Awesome Tour and a fantastic tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable plus a bonus was he was a very cool guy. Bikes were great!
This was a highlight of our trip to Melbourne. We got to explore so many parts of the city and learn about the city’s history from our guide Leo, who was excellent. Melbourne is very cycle friendly - it felt really safe and the pace was easy and relaxed. The lunch stop was fantastic. Highly recommend doing this on your first day so you can get a taster of what the city has to offer.
This was a relaxed 4 hr ride around Melbourne especially along the Yarra River. Melbourne has extensive bike lanes although sometimes in close proximity to car lanes. Good explanations by the guide. Nice lunch stop at the faraday cage cafe.
Seeing a city by bike is a great way to get a feeling about the place and Melbourne is a great city to visit. Easy ride, only 13km.
Lovely way to get an overview of the city. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging. I’d recommend this tour.
We had a wonderful time riding around the city and learning a lot about the history of Melbourne! Matt was a fantastic guide and we would highly recommend this tour!
Enjoyed the city bike tour. We were upgraded to E-bikes which as nice and made the tour very comfortable. I’d actually recommend the E-bike option as there are many hills. Our guide was very good but does require a basic bike maintenance course as he didn’t know how to put his own chain back on and luckily a chap from our group as able to do it for him. It is a fantastic way to see a bit of the city.
Had wonderful advice about the bike and route. Was a hot day and we were rewarded with an icy pole at the end. Highly recommend
I loved this tour. Fin, our tour guide, was full of knowledge and had great stories. You could tell he loves his country, city and job. I felt safe and supported the entire day. The lunch cafe had good food and drinks. City bike tours is one of the best ways to see a city and get around. You see so much more and they are filled with history and stories along the way. I highly recommend it. Plus you are given an e-bike, so if you don’t want to work too hard you can turn the bike on.
Great day, lovely and knowledgeable tour guides. Excellent way to get to know more about Melbourne and it's history
The bike trip was awesome. We covered a lot of ground and learned a lot of history of the city. Matt was an excellent guide.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour with Fin. He was both friendly and knowledgeable, making the 4-hour tour fly by. We gained a wealth of information about Melbourne’s history, and it was not only informative but also entertaining. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we learned and had fun at the same time. We highly recommend this tour to anyone eager to explore Melbourne’s colorful history.
The tour was well planned and interesting but our guide spent a lot of time texting on his phone when he was riding and supposed to be paying attention to the road and the group. He didn’t pay much attention to keeping the group together which wasnt a big problem for us as we were all reasonable riders but could be a problem for some groups. The lunch spot was ok but a little underwhelming. I was hoping for a ‘quirky’ cafe rather than a large venue as I think this would be more representative of Melbourne eateries.
Finn is a great tour guide. The trip covered all the city highlights and we learned so much history of Australia in general Melbourne specifically.
