Joe promised wildlife and delivered in spades. The tour was the perfect finish to our trip to Melbourne. Joe was very knowledgeable and a great guide.
Went for the grampians tour with Kiwi, and i’d like to commend kiwi for being an exceptional guide! the entirety of the tour was just amazing — the duration was perfect, and kiwi was so knowledgeable, engaging, and thoughtful throughout the day. the itinerary was well-paced, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed. it’s always lovely when a guide goes beyond simply bringing you to the sights and makes the entire experience that much more enjoyable. Kiwi’s enthusiasm and passion really shone through, and i couldn’t have asked for a better experience. highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the grampians!
A great day out with views of beautiful scenery from various lookout points in the mountains. Nice easy hikes led by our friendly and informative guide, Joe who also stopped along the way for us to walk in the fields and see wild animals and birds in their natural habitat. I have never seen so many kangaroos in the wild - definitely worth the 3-hour journey each way.
Joe was an excellent guide. It was a varied and interesting day. Highly recommended!
Ben was fantastic! The entire day from giving us a friendly smile to having cups of tea and Tim tams on the road to the beautiful tour of the Grampians! The entire day was fantastic! We also spotted kangaroos!!!
Had a great day in the Grampians, beautiful scenery and lovely key points seen along the way. Anthony was a fab guide and clearly very interested and keen to tell us lots of information, thank you!
I had such a great time on the Grampians tour with Joe! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative throughout the whole trip. He shared lots of interesting information about the Grampians and made the tour fun and enjoyable. Joe was also very welcoming and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. You can really tell that he enjoys what he does and wants everyone to have a great time. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you get Joe as your guide!
It's very beautiful experience in the National Park. All the views are amazing. Joe was a very good guide!
Excellent tour experience with guide Joe
Joe was so friendly and made our day amazing
Joe's the best! We had an amazing time, it’s our second tour with this guide and it was lovely. Thanks a lot!
I had an amazing day with Joe!!!! The best guide there is, took care of everything and explained it all in such an interesting and fun way! Highly recommend it
The tour was amazing! Anthony, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to chat with. He made the whole trip enjoyable and comfortable, and we had such a wonderful time exploring the Grampians. Beautiful views, great company, and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended! 🌿
Nice itinerary. Our tour guide Antony is very friendly, patient and professional.
Absolutely amazing trip! The Grampians were beautiful and the whole experience was so much fun. Everything was well organised and I genuinely enjoyed every part of the day. And a huge shoutout to our guide, Joe — literally the best tour guide in the world! He was so friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip even better. Would 100% recommend this tour! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely loved my organised trip to Grampians National Park. Our guide, Joe, was absolutely amazing. We were a small group, which made the experience feel really personal and enjoyable. Joe did a fantastic job of keeping everyone included, chatting with us throughout the day, and making sure everyone felt comfortable. The organisation was excellent from start to finish, and it was such a great way to experience the Grampians. There was a really good balance of exploring, sightseeing and learning about the area, so the time just flew by. A huge thank you to Joe for making the day so memorable — I’d definitely recommend this trip!
I absolutely love this tour combination of small easy walks, one were a little bit steep and slippery on a rainy day, but alright for me with good hiking boots. I'm just a little bit careful after I twisted my right ankle twice, years between and years ago, I just have to watched out I don't make a wrong step. Besides me being careful, I really enjoyed this tour to see some of Grampians great looks out, beautiful nature, Kangaroo, Wallaby and emus. A fantastic storytelling guide from the real Australian world and maybe a little bit of myth. I can only give my best recommendations.
Despite the mist and the rain, it was a very worthwhile tour. It made the atmosphere wonderfully mystical, and it made the the rivers and waterfalls full. Joe gave some great commentary about the history of various towns and sites of importance along the way, with excellent acknowledgement of local Aboriginal people. It was my first tour in Australia in which the tour guide didn’t focus almost solely on European history.
The experience and trip was wonderful, and our tour guide Joe is really nice and accommodating. It was fun 😊
Great experience. Lauren managed everything in nice way. Saw Boroka lookout, canyon walk was great, and weather was nice.
Length of visit: 1 day Crowd size: 8 pax Tour guide: Joe Shout out to our tour guide Joe for being such an amazing and friendly person. He knew the right places to go and the right things to do. I enjoyed chatting with him throughout the ride in the passenger seat next to him! He showed us wild emus and kangaroos and I was genuinely awestruck. Also loved the hiking experience at the Grampians in the winter season, such a unique experience and wonderful view.
We had a lovely day with Joel, our tour guide to Grampians NP. He provided safe passage through some incredibly narrow roads, and colorful commentary and history about the towns we drove thru. A few features of the tour were closed, but Joel pivoted and provided visits to other sites instead. Our weather was beautiful and the short hikes were manageable for everyone in my family. The hike up the Grand Canyon will not be forgotten! We appreciated that the bus had WiFi and that Joel was cognizant of our need for bathroom breaks! Our stop in Beaufort coincided with a Christmas in July community fair and Joel encouraged everyone to visit for the local flavor.
Even though it was cloudy, it was still a very nice trip. The hiking was great and it was well worth the drive. Joe was an excellent tour guide
Joe was a great guide! He was very informative and easy going.
We saw Emu’s, plenty of kangaroos and some cute wallaby’s! Kiwi is a very knowledgeable and amazing guide and his explanations during the tour made it only so much better. Had a great time and 10/10 would do it again!
Our Grampians trip with Autopia Tours was absolutely amazing! From stunning views to great company, everything was perfect. And Joel? He’s a legend! Super funny, full of energy, and kept us entertained the whole way. Honestly…he made the trip 10x better. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Amazing view at Grampian. Friendly tour guide. Nice experience overall:)
Absolutely loved my day trip with Sam our very attentive, entertaining, interesting and knowledgeable guide. This tour had views, beautiful lookouts snd nature💕I met Emus, Cockatoos and Kangaroos in their natural environments. The day flew!
Kiwi is the best guide ever! He is so nice, considerate, and knowledgable. However, we are disappointed about the trip itself. I think the main reason to go on this trip is to go to the waterfalls and hiking. Unfortunately, the waterfalls have been closed down for construction reason, which I totally understand the situation. But we didn't get any notification about that until we were on the bus. We should be informed ahead of the trip to see if we still want to go or have alternatives regarding date or routes. It's unfair to pay in full but end up with half trip. Kiwi handled this situation as best as he could. Again, he is very nice and tried to make it up to us. We really appreciated it.
The trip started around 7:35am and ended around 7:45pm. Total driving roundtrip was about 6hours. Spent about 3 hrs at the park. The views are amazing but 3hrs is not enough considering how many hours are spent on the road. Consider the ROI before doing the trip.
My trip to the Grampians was absolutely brilliant - a very long day but most definitely worth it. Our guide, Lauren, was fun, friendly and very knowledgeable, sharing stories and information about places we passed through and stopped at and making sure we had all needs catered for, from tea, coffee, Tim Tams and toilet stops, to driving us around to find emus and kangaroos. The amount of time given at the stop-off points felt just right: the Cultural Centre, Halls Gap, Mackenzie Falls, The Balconies and Boroka Lookout, each with their own scenery and features. The Grampians also feel like a less busy place than some of the other tour destinations, and while I know I contribute to the numbers, it's sometimes hard to enjoy something fully when you're surrounded by hundreds of others! There were a lot of solo travellers like myself, but I always felt like I was part of the group and it was great to chat to people from all around the world. Thank you for a great day.
Our trip to the Grampians and MacKenzie Falls was incredible. The hike down to the falls was a total leg-day workout I didn't sign up for, but the views made me forget I couldn't feel my calves! Our guide, Joe, was the absolute MVP. He’s basically a walking encyclopedia of local facts, but way more fun to be around. Even when we were running late (oops!), Joe had the patience of a saint and never rushed us. Honestly, a tour is only as good as the guide’s sense of humor, and Joe delivered. 10/10—would definitely let Joe lead me into the wilderness again!
I had an amazing time with our guide Joe driving us through the mntains and accompanying us on the hikes. We even saw kangaroos and emus and the way back up from the McKenzie falls surely earned us some dinner 😉 Great trip all around!
If you have a car, no guide is required and you can easily do the 2 short walks and 2 lookout points independently quicker than the 4.5h in the Grampians. We were picked up at the Grampians Tourist information centre at 11am, so didn’t get any information from the guide before this. Almost immediately after the initial 1k walk, the tour stopped for lunch for an hour. Grampians Tourist Information Desk extremely helpful, providing maps and advice. No stop at the cultural centre as advertised.
Nice tour, unfortunately one of the girls in our group became lost where there was no phone reception. Our guide, Craig, went on a major search. After a bit over 2 hours she was found safe. Craig did his best to get to most of the highlights.
A fantastic day tour to Grampians National Park with stunning scenery from start to finish. The lookouts, waterfalls, and mountain views were breathtaking, and seeing kangaroos and emus in the wild was a real highlight. The tour was well-organized and never felt rushed. James was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. A perfect way to experience the Grampians in one day—highly recommended.
Great tour and great guide (James). Great views from the different lookouts. James played trivia with us on the bus to and from the park and he cracked some good jokes.
Our tour guides were so kind and informative! They made the bus ride enjoyable by sharing facts and history about Australia. The park was breathtaking. Highly recommend this tour!
The hikes were scenic and manageable, offering stunning views of rugged cliffs, waterfalls, and wide-open valleys. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, pointing out local wildlife like kangaroos and native birds along the way. highly recommended.
Joe was a great driver. He changed the itinerary so we could avoid the rain and still get the best experience. I recommend to bring proper shoes cause it can get a bit slippery.
Well paced experience with drive from Melbourne including restroom breaks. Your guide took us in mini-hikes for all Grampians National Park stops. Would recommend Anthony as a tour guide because he stopped in random spots to ensure we saw interesting things!
An exceptional full-day experience exploring the magnificent Grampians National Park with Autopia. The tour was well-paced, offering breathtaking scenery, opportunities to spot native wildlife, and insightful commentary about the area’s rich Indigenous culture. Although it’s a long day, the journey is well worth it for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty and spirit of Victoria beyond the city.
Our trip to Grampian was fun and interactive and this would not have been possible without our guide Mr. Anthony . Very informative and nice to interact with on this trip . We will recommend this guide and trip to anyone who would like to do these trips .
We had a great time with the Ant man who planned the trip well and gave a us a great opportunity to experience the Grampian hike and the wild life. Will be coming back for more with Autopia tours.
“It was an incredibly interesting trip. Benny, who served as both our driver and guide, made the experience truly enjoyable and memorable for everyone in our group.”
A great day out, Benny the driver was very knowledgeable. The addition of the grand canyon loop was definitely worth it.
It was a wonderful trip with Antony - well planned and organised. We saw emus, plenty of kangoroos and wallabies. Very relaxing, highly recommended.
Went to the Grampians with Anthony, who is a wonderful and passionate guide! Only wish I stayed longer here! Thanks to autopia for the perfect organization.
It was a really nice tour! Anthony our guide included everybody which made it really easy to connect with others especially when you’re on your own. Great day!
