Great experience however the bus is old so not great on your back. Driver guide was awesome. Had an enjoyable but tiring day.

Itinerary
Afterwards, you’ll move on to Port Campbell National Park, home to the iconic 12 Apostles. Beating the crowds and capturing the breathtaking views in the soft morning light, you will enjoy free time to take in the views from every angle, walk along the boardwalks, and get the perfect pictures of this wild and rugged coastline.
Once out of the trees and arrived in the Southern Ocean, we arrive at Loch Ard Gorge, shrouded by impressive limestone cliffs. You can take a walk and check out the local attractions, including the Archway, the Razorback, and Dumpling Pots. You’ll also get to learn about Australia’s most famous shipwreck.
Next, pass through the Great Otway National Park, and then we will stop by the roadside depending on the situation and walk into the sweetly scented eucalyptus forest to locate some of the local koalas in their native habitat. (This activity is not guaranteed and may not take place)
Then stop in the seaside township of Apollo Bay, with time to grab a bite to eat and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. The town boasts wide sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and surrounding lush green hills, creating a harmonious natural landscape.
Passing through the quaint seaside resort towns of Lorne and Wye River.
Then take the opportunity to capture a moment under the historic Memorial Arch at Eastern View, one of the iconic landmarks of the Great Ocean Road, originally erected to commemorate the builders of the road.

William was accommodating and understanding when we had issues navigating to our initial meetup point. There was adequate time to appreciate every stop, and we were lucky enough to spot rare wildlife sightings in public settings! Truly a worthy experience of a lifetime for our group and future prospectors alike~ :)
It was very amazing, the views were just spectacular. Our driver Daniel kept us informed along the way and kept us safe. He made the trip personalised and was easy to chat to.
We saw some beautiful views, took lots of pictures. Our guide was very informative. Had a good day with great weather!!
The tour delivered on everything that was expected, and our driver even had some unexpected stops that added to the experience. The weather was a little rainy and windy, but didn’t detract from the wonderful scenery. The rock formations are amazing. Our driver kept our large group in check and ran a tight schedule. Everyone was picked up timely. Would have been nice to have received a little more narrative at the actual sites, but understand weather may have prevented that. Had an added bonus of seeing multiple rainbows throughout the day. So glad we did the this excursion.
It was a wonderful experience. The itinerary was planned well.we got to see panoramic view of great ocean road and some wildlife experience such as koala and kangaroo.william our experienced tour guide is amazing, easy going, resulting a stress free and smooth journey.
Great trip despite poor weather. Daniel was informative and very obliging. He shared facts and stories along the way. We saw koala and kangaroos so very pleased.
It was a great experience, amazing tour guide. Shown us what we needed to see and allowed enough time at each destination. Daniel is my guyyyyy!! 👌🏽
David was very friendly and nice with everyone. We went everywhere and he’s driving very safe. He was very informative about historic facts and the places we visited. It worths the price!
An action packed day, in which we saw and experienced so much. Timings were perfect and the coach ride fascinating. Our guide, Daniel, was superb: efficient, accommodating and very engaging, he went out of his way to make the trip really memorable for us. We were particularly thrilled to have had the opportunity to see koalas AND kangaroos in the wild. Excellent value for money, this trip is a must for every traveller to Melbourne! We will long remember it.
A great day with breathtaking views. Daniel the tour guide is very friendly and informative and adds to the experience. . There are lots of tours to choose from and we loved this one, it was just enough stops and time at the stops without it being too tiring or seeing too much. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend.
Philip our guide was very friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable day trip, saw some great sights. Bus was comfortable
I would like to appraise our today tour guard William for his patient n friendly attitude. He is giving us many explanations of today sign seeing guard . great job
William is a 10/10 tour guide and driver that took care of the group and introduced the tourist attractions bilingually. Had a great trip because of him. Highly recommended! Thanks a lot!
A great day trip of theTwelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, Apollo Bay, Great Ocean Road Arch, and Splitpoint Lighthouse. William is an amazing tour guide.
The Great Ocean Road Tour was very great, we really enjoyed it. The driver & tour guide, David Hsu, was superb and friendly, speaks very good English and Chinese. We felt amazed with the experience, the stories of Australia, Melbourne and the amazing animals i.e koala, kanguru as well as cows and sheeps. The 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and beautiful views of the ocean were very remarkable. We will recommend this tour to our friends
I had originally booked with a different company, but due to some confusion, I was left stranded in Melbourne with no clear direction and a tour about to leave without me. Just as I was about to give up, David noticed my situation and, without hesitation, welcomed me aboard his tour as a “stowaway” passenger. His genuine kindness and willingness to help a complete stranger turned what could have been a disastrous day into one of the highlights of my trip to Australia. From the moment we hit the road, David brought the journey to life with his deep knowledge of the region, incredible storytelling, and a great sense of humor. He has a natural gift for engaging people — the perfect balance of informative and entertaining. Every stop was perfectly timed, thoughtfully planned, and made even more special by the personal touches David added along the way. The scenery was breathtaking, but what truly stood out was David’s passion for what he does and the care he shows for every single guest. He didn’t just lead a tour — he created an experience. If it weren’t for David, I would’ve missed out entirely. Instead, I came away with amazing memories, stunning photos, and a genuine appreciation for the Great Ocean Road — and for the wonderful person who made it all possible. Highly recommend this tour, and especially David Hsu. Great guide, great tour — and above all, a kind, unique, and unforgettable human being.
The driver David Hsu is great. He is knowledgeable, give interesting narratives on history. He even care on younger passengers. He is a contentious driver taking care on safety.
Appalling, don't do it. We did the full day Great Southern Road trip. The guide never stopped yelling and talked for a full 13 hours, no rest. He told stories that were simply historically untrue, false and honestly offensive. He swore numerous times in front of children and just made up the itinerary as he went stopping when he felt like it. He was rude to customers and washed the bus while we all waited to get home. To top it off he spent over an hour selling products through his online shop to a captive audience. This felt like a 12 hour hostage situation. Don't do it!
David S. The best guide ever!!! I really appreciate his work and so much thank you that he has done for our group!!! Really the highest dedication to work!!!
The driver David is very entertaining and gives info about Melbourne and places we were visiting. He is bilingual and speaks also Chinese. Some people in the bus were rude and nasty to him, yet he took it sportingly and obliged their needs. A wonderful person and a very safe driver. He is considerate and times the tour for client needs and woth bathroom breaks, if you just and let him be flexible, he can accomodate your needs.
Our tour guide David Hsu was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of stories which was nice. He was very patient and helpful with all of our questions and needs. Honestly, it was a no stress day at all. It was great, we had good weather. David made it all outstanding. I would definitely recommend this tour.
It was a lot of driving as expected but it felt well paced. The driver David was flexible when it came to spending more/less time at the different locations to make the most of the trip.
David was very accommodating and knowledgeable, we saw all the fun cool Places and still had enough time to soak it in.
We can stop by several stops along the Great Ocean Road. Our guide, David, was friendly and we sang together at the beach.
A full day experience that was very interesting, and made particularly enjoyable by how informative and entertaining our driver David Hsu was.
It was beautiful memorable experience and especially David was very knowledgeable and let us to visit all places by by giving some extra time
Amazing experience! Everything was well-organized, and the guide was incredibly kind and patient. We also had the chance to see a koala, which made the tour even more special. Highly recommend! Thank you Daniel Huang. - Pura vida 🇨🇷
David H. has some really interesting stories that are so wild that it turns this experience into a wild and crazy adventure that's like nothing else I've ever done. I was surprised to learn these fabels had real facts in them. At first, before I've had any coffee, they made no sense or logic to any of them, but through out the trip I started to put it all together. All is this is done in English with an Asian accent that makes it even better. On this escapade, you'll even see koalas in the wild. If you want a ride you won't be able to experience anywhere or forget this will be for you. You do have to keep an open mind and a light heart for this thrill.
David Hsu is an amazing tour guide. His passion and enthusiasm and willingness to go beyond made this trip personal, enjoyable and fun and a very different experience altogether. Places visited was lovely, timing was well planned and bus was clean. All in all, it was a memorable experience. Highly recommended.
This was such a great way to see the Great Ocean Road in a day. David was a fantastic tour guide and my friends and I had loads of fun! We saw wild wallabies and koalas and stunning views.
Out guide, Mr David Hsu, is nice and friendly. He tried his very best to take care of everyone. The view is nice and it's worth going.
We had a pleasant experience with our tour. We visited several attractions, and David provided detailed historical information at each spot. David is bilingual, speaking both English and Chinese. Throughout the tour, he continuously shared historical facts about Australia and general information. However, non-Chinese speakers might find it a bit repetitive, as he repeats every line in Chinese. Overall, it was a good experience.
We had a great day, David the driver was very enthusiastic and entertaining. It’s a long day but well worth it. There were no issues for us with the bilingual nature of the tour. Amazing views and sights to see we’re well chosen. Planning on another trip to the other destinations on offer.
Such a great trip with Dave. He is a superb guide and safe driver. The tour was well organised, such beautiful scenery, all the return times were explained and the day ran smoothly with a shindig at the end of the tour. Brilliant! We will be booking again.
It was really breathtaking and the weather was perfect. Our Driver Wei Cui managed to fit in beautiful Lorne too in the Itenary. He was very informative in Mandarin and English . He waa very polite and assisted us in every way. It was a very enjoyable experience.
Everything unprofessional doesn't feel you travelling in Australia Driver need uniform Name Tag, need to explain on every stop where wash room located, etc so we can save time Whole day driver was busy with Chinese guy who sitting without seat belt taking in Chinese language looks soo bad vehicle needs to neat & clean
The stops are to short and missing important turistic points, another thing is that minibus has enough space for walkers and you said no, so no emphaty for old people, very dissapointed, I mentioned he can walk good is just as a little support for him. Also driver exceed speed limit many times.
We were last to board the bus and got the last row seats which are considerably lower than other seats. Even a taaallllll person was able to see only the seat in front of them. Not much view from windows and getting them came at risk of neck pain. Guess what we didn't have much of a view during the trip. Bus stopped at Twelve Apostles and Loch Arch George for half hour. Very less time to walk, enjoy the view and walk back. But it sure prepared us for next Olympics. 40mins Lunch break at Apollo Bay. No stopping on any beach site along the ocean road. Being strict on time helped us return almost an hour prior to our scheduled time. Overall, a below average experience.
The tour guide and driver, Mr David Hsu was amazing. I am totally impress on how he multi task being a driver and tour guide, toggling between English and Chinese. He has in depth knowledge about the history of Australia and was able to present his information in an interesting way. He was also accommodating to the passengers' need especially when they need to stop by for toilet breaks.
The fact that there is a 10 min walk to the viewing gallery from the kiosk. The fact that food is allowed on the viewing gallery. All these should have been told by our guide but they were not.
We enjoyed with the hospitality . We were very impressed with the tour guide David HSU and his impressive briefings , knowledge about the places we went and the well behavior.
Extragreen canceled our confirmed booking the night before the tour due to their screwup (overbooking), so we didn’t actually get to go on the tour. Hence the rating is for the company Extragreen Holidays’ operation and management, rather than the tour itself.
David was an excellent guide/driver. He was pleasant, informative and knowledgeable. He really seems to enjoy his job and made the trip worthwhile. The tour is in Chinese and English, with most of the guests being Mandarin speakers. If you get him on your tour, you will not be disappointed. Good job, David.
A fantastic trip! Thanks our tour guide Frank. The itinerary is well organized, with natural landscapes and wildlife, with wonderful beaches and fine food. I will consider this tour operator again for my next trip to Melbourne.
The tour was very good. The bus arrived in time and commenced as scheduled The driver cum guide was very informative. He shared his historical knowledge very well. Spoke in English well. The bus was also comfortable. Giving little more time at locations is suggested.
Th chocolate factory was closed on Christmas Day so we didn’t go but still pay the full price for everything
I will say the bus ride was ok and the driver was professional. That's about all the good points. This trip needs better information/ transparency as it is for Chinese tourist. If you are like me and you don't know that you have to sit to an all day tour 90% in Chinese, which is unacceptable for an all-day tour when you don't know that's what you are getting into. The bus driver provided a QR code for a mobile app guided tour in English, which doesn't help tourists who have no headphones, wifi or way to charge their phones. And when the bus stops at a Chinese restaurant for lunch, it is just more of the same disappointment along this trip. The restaurant did have other food options, but still blah. I'm trying to be totally honest which is why I won't give it a 1 because, like I said, it was professional, but the tour operator should be ashamed of not notifying patrons of what they are getting into.
Better information needed from operator and/or Viator. Says Chinese is available but should say some English is available as this tour is 90% in Chinese. They give you a QR code for an app that provides a description Iin English but you do not know this beforehand so if you don’t have AUZ sim or headphone your out of luck for a 12 hour day. The driver and guest were all professional but it should be clear this tour is in Chinese.
Nice weather and amazing view! Great trip with friendly driver David. The ride there and back was smooth but a bit rush cus we really love the view in each stop! If you dont mind the audio guide. It's good value for the money.
