Very cool trip. Loved the penguins. Travis did a great job showing us around and educating us on the animals. Very good. Would recommend.

Fred was a great guide. We had an amazing time seeing all the animals on our trip. The penguin parade was a really pleasant experience. I did not expect to see the penguins in their natural habitat and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity that we really enjoyed!
Our guide Travis was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the Sanctuary and Penguin Parade. Both places provided a wonderful up close experience with native animals.
My family took the private tour of Phillip Island and had an amazing day. The tour guide was so knowledgeable about Melbourne, the Moonlight Sanctuary and Phillip Island. He had many interesting stories about all the places we visited and was super accommodating. Our guide for the day, Fred G., had so much energy and engaging with describing the sites and experiences of the tour. No matter how much you read or have it explained to you, the Penguin Parade is an amazing event to watch and experience.
No idea how this company has this many good reviews. I guess they had different experiences that we did. The ride was rough and uncomfortable. The driver was an ok driver but horrible guide. At one point we were trying to find out if there was a way NOT to have to drive back to Melbourne from Phillip Island with this person. I would generally recommend a tour to see the penguins, i would not go with this company again.
We took a small group tour to Phillip Island to see the Penguin Parade of Little Penguins, and it was an experience that my 11 year old granddaughter will remember for a lifetime (so will I). Our tour guide, Kevin, was an outstanding source of information, and he really made the experience memorable. We were able to pet a Koala at the Moonlit Sanctuary, which was an awesome experience, and the drive around the sanctuary grounds to view some of the penguin burrows was a great experience, and we saw lots of wallabies along the way. This is an experience you will very much enjoy no matter your age.
Kevin was a great guide, very knowledgeable but not at all pushy. Really enjoyed Moonlit sanctuary and The Nobbies but the highlight was the Penguin Parade. Such a special and unique experience
Spent 2 days with Alex. Day 1 was the Great Ocean Road tour and Day 2 was Phillip Island and the Penguin Parade. The tours definitely hit the highlights and Alex was very knowledgeable. Especially appreciated his insider knowledge and tips.
For first-timers in Melbourne, this tour is an absolute must-do. Our tour guide was exceptional, providing a professional and attentive experience for our group. Witnessing the penguin parade was truly breathtaking. I'm already looking forward to bringing my next group here in 2026. This tour is truly amazing and highly recommended. A big thank you to Kevin, our tour guide, for a job well done! Isaiah and Deborah Franchise Owners, Cruise Planners
We went to moonlit sanctuary. It was amazing! The wallabies and kangaroos have full range of the park and roam freely. We saw koalas, dingos and other animals. It was amazing to see them so close! We stopped at Cape Woolamai Beach and The Nobbies which had amazing views. The waves at the beach were extraordinary! Our final stop at Phillip island nature park was extraordinary! The little penguins were adorable waddlers and we could have watched them all night! Kevin was a great guide! Thank you!
On this trip of 2 months and 4 countries, the day I was on this tour is one of my best memories. The bus is very comfortable and our guide was interesting and knowledgeable about the wildlife at the sanctuary and the fairy penguins on Phillip Island. The Sanctuary is great - for both their rescuing and the habitat they've created, and on top of that: visitors can interact with the. animals. Just lovely. As if that couldn't be topped, then there are the little fairy penguins. Trev showed us their little dens and guided us to the best spots to see the penguins. Such an experience. A truly excellent experience.
We were accompanied by Fred, a kind gentlemen with a natural talent for storytelling. We were introduce to various things including Melbourne must-seen unique spots and stories regarding history of each places. His driving skill is top notch and we have a pleasant time sightseeing. The tour was carefully planned so if this is up to your standard, definitely give Oceania a chance!
What a lovely experience with a very good and knowledgeable tour guide, Kevin. The sightings were breathtaking. Even seeing the koala, kangaroo and penguins were amazing!
Very good and adventurous, was amazing to see all those penguins, Our very good and knowledgeable friend Travis was great and very friendly and made us feel very comfortable, he made us enjoyed all the way.
It was such an amazing experience and more than the tour, we enjoyed the awesome company and conversation with Fred. Dear Fred, thanks for the outstanding and memorable trip. We are from India and work in Singapore since last 11 years. Planning for our trip for long and it was delightful experience with Fred throughout our trip. Look forward to our next trip and meeting you again. Cheers!
We had a great experience with Alex. He gave so many interesting facts about animals along the way and gave tips on penguin viewing at the penguin parade. We paid for the underground viewing and it was worth it.
Great tour with Alex! Penguin parade was absolutely a highlight and Alex provided good commentary as we drove from Melbourne.
What an incredible trip! Travis was an amazing guide. He knows everything about every animal and it’s easy to see how passionate he is about the animals. Thank you Travis!
Fred G. gave us such a warm Melbourne welcome. What a great font of factoids from sport to culture to nature. We were so well taken care of - at every stop he advised us on how to best experience/ navigate the site. If you want to experience the magic of Australian nature and you only have one day - spend it with Fred on an Oceania tour. You'll meet wallabies, Tasmanian devils, wombats, koalas, sugar gliders, dengos, kangaroos, and every outrageously colored bird you can imagine. Speaking of birds - you'll end your evening with thousands of the most adorable little blue and white penguins on Phillips Island. So very special. Thanks so much Fred and Oceania tours.
Trav was our driver/guide- knowledgeable and friendly! This visit was a specific when we booked our holiday and it lived upto our expectations……..only negative was that it could easily have been the whole day. The wildlife was breathtaking and we will go home with some very special memories. Book the “experiences” at Moonlit Sanctuary- worth every penny - we met Mary the Wombat and Mella the Kaola.
Fred is the best. Insist on him for your tour. Great driver, informative fun and entertaining in his own right. Seeing the penguins is a natural wonder that needs to be seen.
Was Ben's copilot on this trip. Was a wonderful experience. Watching the little penguins coming ashore for the night. So cute!
A great day out with our driver and guide Travis. Started at 2pm and finished about 11.30 pm. The journey to the Sanctuary was filled with both amusing and informative knowledge of what we were passing on route and what we were about to encounter. The sanctuary was very relaxed but allowed us to get up close and feed the wallabies and kangaroo's and watch the koalas. The penguin parade was amazing seeing hundreds of little penguins arriving all at once on the beach and walking past us up to the nest. Recommend the deluxe ticket as most of the penguins walk by you there. Got to see sunset at nobbies and eat fish and chips before the parade. Highly recommend this tour, especially if Travis is your guide
A full and informative day with the wonderful Travis our guide who made the day so so good. His enthusiasm was infectious.
Fred was incredible, we had a unforgettable trip. He was so informative and lots of great laughs. Highly recommend
Went on the philip island tour and penguin parade,Kevin the tour guide was absolutely amazing,he was very knowledgeable and informative he made us feel very welcome and would highly recommend boooking this tour
Went to Phillip Island for Penguin parade YET AGAIN WITH KEVIN after the Great Ocean Road trip. Amazing experience - trip was not rushed - enough time given to view the places and was also allowed to sit next to the driver (Kevin) yet again due to my motion sickness
It was a great experience, Travis was our guide and he is a wonderful person, very attentive and gave us a lot of information.
It was such a great experience to see so many beautiful animals for the first time and have Travis as our tour guide! He has enhance and bettered the experience through his innate kindness and enthusiasm! We made a few stops along the way to see some penguins in their burrows, he even recommended what to eat while in Phillip Island (it was good). Travis encompassed the ideal travel guide. A plus is that his driving won’t give you motion sickness! We highly recommend Travis as a tour guide 😊
My husband and I had an amazing and enjoyable tour of our life with Kevin our guide and driver to the Moonlit Sanctuary and Phillip Island. Kevin was outstanding, knowledgeable, experienced and very personable. He pointed out many interesting things along the way. He made sure all of us in the group had a chance to feed the animals. We visited Woolamai Surf Beach. He pointed out the penguin burrows and told us what to look for in the grass. He guided us by providing information about each place we visited. He shared a lot of fun facts and history during the long drives. The views were lovely and being able to see the little penguins was such a gem and an unforgettable experience. He was able to upgrade us to the Guided Ranger Tour. He really made our whole day and penguin experience so special. Thanks so much Kevin for going above and beyond as a tour guide. We’ve been on many tours around the world, and thanks to Kevin, this one stands out above the rest! We will definitely recommend this tour to our family and friends who’s visiting Melbourne and ask for Kevin.
The Small group tour is wonderful. Our guide Alex provided a good overview and made sure each quest was looked after.
Viewing the Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park plus watching the thousands of penguins coming from the ocean waddling by us to go to their habitats in the mountainside.
If you do nothing else while in Melbourne get out of the city and go see the penguins march in from the sea right in front of you.
Well done and efficient. Seeing the tiny penguins on a Phillips Island was one of the highlights on our Australian adventure. A big thanks to Kevin our tour guide.
This trip was a wow! The trip to the island took two hours. The tour operator took us to a animal rescue center along the way. We stopped for dinner that was not provided. The trip to the island was excellent, we saw Wallabies, ducks, geese and a porcupine on the way to the beach area. We had "Plus" tickets to the penguin was. I would recommend that level of ticket.Sam our driver was very helpful with informationthroughout the trip and especially about the pengine walk. Sam was very informative about the animals and penguins. Don't miss this tour!
We had a terrific time with Sean who guided us through Moonlit and the Penguin Parade. He was very knowledgable, great driver, and calm. We learned a great deal and felt safe. Our highlight was seeing the little penguins come in at sunset. We highly recommend doing a tour with him. D and D.
Seeing Australia wildlife in their natural habitat was a very unique and memorable exprrience. Seeing the little penguin parade was fascinating and much better than we anticipated. Our guide Kevin showed exceptional patience when one our group was very late for joining the tour bus after the parade. He also saved an Echidna from being run over on the highway. Very compassionate.
Sam was great, driving to each location while giving us fun facts and interesting insights. The highlight was obviously the penguin parade which did not disappoint! Literally hundreds of penguins coming out of the surf in groups of 50-100 at a time. Stumbling around, preening, waddling to there burrows. It was amazing!
Just seeing the penguins and their waddling action made the tour awesome! So happy to just see them exist. (I hope tourists get more respectful about the no-photography policy though. It’s there to keep penguins coming back.) Our tour guide, Fred, made the trip even better with his trivia and fun stories. (I hope you get your book out there, Fred 😊)
We would highly recommend this trip. Lots to see and Kevin hosted us brilliantly. We saw lots of wallabies and the penguins were out in force
Me and my friend had a brilliant day which was organised well. The sights were beautiful and our your guide Sean was knowledgable and friendly.
It was an amazing experience to see the Penguins. The tour was great. My o my criticism is that it would have been better to have less time at the Sanctuary and more time at the Penguin Parade.
Got to see a large variety of wildlife up close and got a great view of Phillips Island. Definitely worth the time and trip.
Had a great time, got to see nice landscapes and plenty of wallabys on the way to the penguin parade
This is an excellent chance to get up close to the wildlife of Victoria. The tour guide Sean was incredibly helpful and made the trip even better.
sean , the tour guide was an amazingggggg driver n tour guide. he was funny and got us to all the different destinations safely and the penguin parade was absolutely amazing but really cold. during our journey , sean was very entertaining and keeping the ride very enjoyable.
Our experience was very good. The visit to the typical Australian animals is very nice, seeing kangaroos and wallabies up close is very interesting. Our guide Shawn was very personable and professional and made us have a great day. I recommend warm, windproof clothing to see the Penguin Parade.
Fantastic trip, Mehmet our driver and guide was great, really enjoyed his company.very informative and knowledgeable. I can highly recommend this company and trip.
Honestly this is a great tour, I got to pet kangaroos and wallaby’s, saw koalas, and I witnessed the adorable penguins.
Memhet was informative right from the start, comfy bus good music and conversation. The conservation park was good and easy to navigate but the penguins we’re phenomenal, highly recommend.
