Melvin was wonderful. So friendly and informative. Relaxing drive too. About of information. And also quiet time with music. As far as the value- cannot beat it. 12 stops and a 12 hour tour. The price is insanely good. Coffee stop in the morning was great. The row of restaurants were also good, it was hard to choose from. He took us to see koalas and kangaroos. That’s was surreal I would recommend him to everyone! You’d be lucky to have him as your driver. Truly, the highlight of my trip. Mahalo Melvin for an amazing, memorable day.

Great experience with Peter as our guide. Pick up was seamless. Long trip 12h in total but well worth the sights. Got to see tons of nature, some kangaroos and koalas in the wild. The tour group side of 9 of us was perfect. We had sufficient time to take pics with each site. Highly recommend.

Fantastic day out. Peter was a brilliant guide! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and he took us to some gorgeous spots beyond the usual lookouts. The reverse itinerary meant we avoided the crowds almost entirely, which made a huge difference. Koalas and kangaroos in the wild, and ice cream at the chocolate factory to finish. 10/10, would absolutely recommend.

We had an absolutely fantastic day with our tour guide, Peter! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The timing at each stop was perfect, so we never felt rushed or like we were waiting around. Peter also shared lots of interesting stories and background about each place we visited, along with some fun and fascinating facts about Australia. As first-time visitors to Australia, we really appreciated how much he helped us learn about the country while making the day fun and relaxing. Peter truly made our trip special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!

It was such a fun day! We managed to avoid the crowds, enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the Great Ocean Road, and even saw wild koalas and kangaroos. We also got to see a full rainbow, which made the day even more special. Our guide, Peter, was absolutely fantastic. It was truly a perfect day!

Our tour with Peter was amazing. We got to hit everything we asked him for and more. He was so patient and willing to accommodate anything we asked for and is also just a great person to talk to during the driving portions. He is very knowledgeable about the area and Australia in general and we learned so much from him. The Tour was structured so well that there was never too much time between stops and such beautiful scenery and wildlife to see. I could not recommend this tour higher!

The trip is customizable, but to get the best experience, be prepared to do a little bit of walking. Our driver, Paul, was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. The Mercedes van was very clean & comfortable as well. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful tour with our guide, Peter. With an 11 hour tour & 2 teenage children, it could have been a tricky day, but we were all thoroughly entertained, saw so many great things and even learnt lots from Peter. If you book only 1 day trip from Melbourne, make it this one

It was a wonderful day. First of all, our guide Peter communicated with me the evening before and the morning of, so there were no questions about connecting with him for the day. He picked us up in a nice, clean, comfortable luxury van at the appointed time. He managed the day perfectly, avoiding the crush of crowds at the major sites. The Ocean Road is an amazing drive filled with awe inspiring views and overlooks. He also took us to a beautiful rain forest gully. He found a wonderful lunch spot for us, and he helped us find koalas in the wild and kangaroos! His knowledge of Australia, the road and the region added greatly to our day. It was a full day of amazing experiences. We highly recommend!

Great trip, good way to spend a day

If I could have rated this experience 10 Stars I would have! Peter was our tour guide and driver for the day. He was incredibly knowledgeable. Any question we asked he knew the answer to and gave us a full background of the history of Melbourne and The local fauna Flora and attractions. He is extremely personable and easy to talk to. He's a careful, safe driver and made excellent restaurant recommendations for when we were in Apollo Bay. This was an incredible experience as it was just the four of us. Much more personalized than a giant tour bus full of people. Highly recommended!

This was a great way to explore part of Australia (that we probably wouldn’t have been able to do on our own). It’s a long day - about 12 hours from start to finish. However, it was well-paced. Peter was a great guide and his music playlist was great. One small note - there are two guest seats near the front of the vehicle that are lovely. The rest of the seats are average. I was in the back with one leg jammed up on the wheel base. Other than that, a lovely day out.

Comfortable luxury coach traveling with around 10 -12 stops including 12 Apostles, 2 shipwreck sites, several ocean view stops and narration about Australian history. Also saw and photographed koalas and kangaroos up close. Highly recommended!!

This tour was super awesome to do privately as we were on a cruise ship. Our driver was very flexible and made it a great day. The sights were incredible but maybe bring some bug spray as the flies are intense.

We had the best time on our tour with Melvin. He picked us up on time, had a clean and comfortable van, and kept us entertained during the drive out to the Great Ocean Road. We appreciated that he adjusted his plan to accommodate the preferences of our group (our kids wanted to explore tidal pools on a beach over going to the chocolate factory) and he made sure that we arrived at the various locations during periods of low crowds and plenty of parking. This was such a great way to experience the Great Ocean Road…looking out the window, not almost getting into accidents, learning about Australia from a fascinating tour guide, and receiving expert tips for the rest of our Australian adventure.

Our driver was kind and knowledgeable. This is such an incredible location, I feel like I have the best photos because our driver knew the best locations! He spotted wild koalas in the trees and pulled over for us to see them and get great pics.

Having booked & paid in advance for this 'luxury tour', the driver didn't show up, the phone numbers didn't work and the emails were not answered. We have nothing else arranged for our last day in Melbourne and it's now too late to book another trip with anyone else. Our family of four have travelled 10,000 miles from London and will not have the opportunity to experience what should have been the highlight of our holiday before having to return home. After our frustrating & unsuccessfuly attempts to contact the 'Awesome Leisure Group', we resorted to requesting a refund via TripAdvisor. We have now, several hours later, received notification that we will get a refund, but anyone wanting to do this trip should learn from our experience and choose from one of the many other providers offering a similar itinerary.

Peter is an excellent tour guide for the Great Ocean Road. He ensured a punctual pick-up right at the hotel entrance and demonstrated a strong knowledge of Melbourne’s history throughout the journey. His explanations were engaging, especially his interesting descriptions of local animals such as Friesian cows, Jersey cows, camels, and rabbits. The tour included memorable koala and kangaroo sightings, and Peter’s deep knowledge of the Great Ocean Road added great value to the experience. He was consistently polite, friendly, and accommodating, making the tour both informative and enjoyable.

It was a great 1 day tour for a limited time I spent here. It was a long trip but all worth it. The places that we stopped that was included in this tour and had some extra places we visited to maximize our trip.

It was a beautiful experience was very informative. Talk to a lot about the history of the road. We get to see koalas and kangaroos, which was nice. We took a little extra trip through the rain for us a walk and that was beautiful. A little towns were sweet that was stopped in. It’s a once in a lifetime visit around the south end of Australia highly recommend it.
