It was great to get dropped off and picked up right at the hot springs. We had a perfect amount of time to explore all the different experiences. Our driver was informative and funny.
Very disappointed that all flights from Sydney to Melbourne were cancelled and as soon as it was I rang to explain the situation. Pretty disappointed that the company wouldn’t consider a refund and didn’t even offer a credit to go another time. This isssue was out of my control
great experience first time visiting a hot springs and enjoyed the day out a great chance to relax and unwind
We had the best experience on this tour. Joe is an amazing guide and is so informative and friendly. Highly recommend this tour.
We did the Hot Springs, Murray’s, Lookout, and the beach boxes… It was beautiful, it was serene, and totally worth it!
Dom was the driver for the day and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Springs were fantastic worth the trip. Left feeling very relaxed .
The 3rd Party (Autopia Tours) that managed this excursion was not great. The bus ride to location was incredibly hot & stuffy with no ventilation for over an hour & a ½. But The Pennisula Hotsprings itself was awesome. We paid for a premium package (stated on viator by the 3rd party) which included 70 springs available not the basic 50 & this area was adults only + it included robes, towels, & lockers in the price of the package. But this was not the case originally. They also have a restaurant The Dream Centre only in that area. Which was divine. Autopia Tours labeled our package as basic. We've never been to this site before. We ened up paying for multiple robes, towels & lockers. Which never should have happened. We spent ⅔ of this needed yet supposed relaxation get away, dealing with logistics & got maybe 15 mins in 1 hot spring by the time we had to meet the driver for the bus ride home. So we opted out of the drive home & the 3 of us agreed on splitting an Uber. Yes, an expensive Uber from the spa all the way back to our Melbourne hotel. That ride back was sensational in the Uber. Anyway, GiGi was the manager at Pennisula Hotsprings & she was absolutely lovely, kind & accommodating. They don't normally change things when customers purchase packages by a 3rd party. But we were able to verify how much we paid & what the packaged offered & why we chose it. GiGi reimbursed us for our unnecessary added expenses (robes etc). She lead us to the premium area. She got us new different color wrist bands for lockers. Gave us fresh towels & robes. This area was phenomenal. Later another guest ran into me & my hand got pushed into the corner of the marble wall & got cut. When we told Joel/Marlon that we wouldn't be traveling back with the van; I will give him credit that he did call customer care & spoke to Jaiden & then handed the phone to me & I gave him the update. Jaiden was very nice & seemed to really care & said he would follow up with us. Which I'm hoping he does.
This day trip was one of the best trip. The location is must see and experience. The tour was well organised and guide Mr Tom was very informative and happy to help. We would highly recommend this trip.
This was an awesome way to visit the hot springs. Our tour guide was full of information and helped us to appreciate the whole experience
The setting of all bathing areas is beautifully blending in the the nature. The garden is well maintained. Staffs are very friendly. Loved the time spending there
Nice place. Facilities are nice and clean. These are man made baths and pools. They aren’t natural. I was expecting more of what I saw in Iceland. We went in mid November. Was pretty busy. I wish it was more relaxing. There were a good amount of children and the parents did not attempt to keep them quiet. Also, there were groups of people that were very loud in general. I wouldn’t expect a quiet experience here. You’re going to be sitting pretty close to all of the other visitors. Not a lot of privacy or quiet time. However, the bus ride was great. Quiet, relaxing, spacious.
Friendly driver! Highly recommend visiting the hot springs! I was worried it was just a tourist thing but there were many locals as well. Beautiful property and very relaxing day. Honestly I’ve never been to any place like this - so unique and just well done! Right down to the robe and towels for rent!
Jacob was amazing, pleasant and such a delight. He even managed to wait while my friend and I were delayed in traffic getting to the meeting point before the group left. He was very knowledgeable and even gave us a mini tour as our group took off and drove through the city. Every option and activity offered in the Hot Springs was splendid! The place was a true beauty and looked extremely natural. My friend and I did the clay experience and it was very therapeutic! I would absolutely come back on my next visit to Melbourne.
We had a wonderful time !!! It’s absolutely beautiful. We also were running late and Jacob made sure we were able to participate on our last day in Melbourne
It was a pleasant day spent with family at the hot spring pools, which are spread across a large area and offer a variety of temperatures to suit everyone’s preferences. There are plenty of drinking fountains available to help visitors stay hydrated, along with a few eateries for grabbing a bite to eat. While some sections were under renovation, the overall experience was enjoyable and relaxing.
Relaxing hot springs experience with well thought out and distributed amenities for personal & intimate set up. Enjoyable and beneficial natural therapeutic treatment on self care. Hot and cold pools to help reduce inflamation and improve blood circulation. Cafe offers sufficient vegetation and vegan choices.
The Hot Springs was beautiful and relaxing ,highly recommend a visit to anyone. Our driver/Tour guide (Missie ) was exceptional. She is very proud and passionate about all things Australian.
Very cool experience! We took the entire family with kids aging from 10-16 and everyone enjoyed it. The only negative I’d have to mention would be needing more time at the Hot Springs. You have 3 hours, but I feel that 4 hours would be better. We felt rushed at the end to grab some lunch at one of the cafes before having to change & be back at the bus for departure. Therefore, only giving you about 2 hours to enjoy in the pools.
Got there promptly and safely w kind driver. Surprisingly crowded for a Sunday morning. The timeframe was right for the visit. The springs had multiple venues closed- either private events, experiences you book on site like fire n ice or mud application, or broken/ being cleaned. Unfortunately you don’t know that until you walk the site. Same for the “spa dreaming” adult only zone- costs more. It would really help if they posted this at entry. There are lots of kids here- be aware. Meals at cafe limited but it was one of the freshest green salads I ever ate. There are other springs in this area- unsure of their entry policy.
The Peninsula Hot Springs Tour is one of the highlights to my holiday in Melbourne.. The driver, Chris ( Kiwi) enhanced the trip by his commentary of the history of Melbourne and sites along the journey. There were many options at the hot springs to enjoy the water. The grounds are beautiful and staff was very friendly .
Expensive for what you get Felt like a conveyor belt introduction on arrival Paid $120 ($50 extra to the general admission but got towel & dressing gown) to attend the child free area with expectation that it would be quieter and less people. Nope, too crowded. Greatly dislike having to listen to other’s conversations. Thought it would be quite and relaxing. Thought we’d at least get a bottle for the cost of the entry. Wet floors in change area, Lockers that wouldn’t lock, had to keep searching. Change area, no real privacy Only stayed an hour and a half Having said this, body was relaxed
"PENINSULA SINGAPORE" My first honeymoon trip with air hostess wife Sahansila onboard duty 25 years ago as a newlywed couple was sweet and super excellent. I was a well-trained Medical representative for world-class 1 pharmaceutical giant HOECHST after post-graduation M.Sc. After two years of engagement, I decided to get married to a well-socially and traditionally solid pure Newari culture and great functions for 10 days. I left my multinational job and joined an Indian company to visit my hometown in Kathmandu from Biratnagar HQ. Ummmmmmmmm...... We're just a newly married couple so I got my officially dependent identity card from my wife's airline Royal Nepal. I was awarded a complimentary flight ticket for KTM/SINGAPORE RA 401/402. We managed to fly onboard duty, my wife. I'd USD 200 bucks those days in 1998. We flew on a regular flight via Bangkok transit. This was my first international flight in my life. So I was very much excited. On board, I was well welcomed by my wife's colleagues' cabin crew who offered me business class although my seat was economical. I was well-served snacks with beers/ Scotch as it was a night flight following dinner. I was well drunk with my new suit. I was excited to land in the beautiful city of Singapore the city of Singha. We landed at Singapore Changi Airport early morning 6 am. We were transferred to the Peninsula welcome van to the hotel. Airport to hotel on the way all cabin crew including my air hostess's wife well busy napping. I was busy observing the early morning fresh and beautiful Singapore city as my first visit. Hey! Shanta! Where your accommodations were arranged? Hotel Peninsula Intercontinental. We're well welcomed by well-trained and well-dressed hotel staff. My wife and colleagues cabin crew team received their hard-earned allowances from the hotel reception in Singapore dollars. The hotel door was computerized. It was my first time to get my room key computerized. Happy. We slept a few hours in our room and got fresh by 10 am. We came down to the hotel breakfast restaurant with our cabin crew team including captain pilot and co-pilot. We're provided the breakfast coupons. The breakfast was international and ROYAL. Hmmmmmm......What? Beef? What's this? I asked my wife. She replied it's beef cow's meat. No. I didn't touch it. Cow is god for us. We worship as a god. We are Buddhists. We went to Sogo nearby after our great breakfast. Returning hotel we slept a few hours. Evening we went to China seafood market for our dinner. We bought a big crab live from an aquarium. It was tied with rope. A Chinese shopkeeper drowned it in a big boiling water bowl and served it with spices. We enjoyed a beer. I paid SD 30 for crab. A young white couple was looking for a big live frog in the aquarium. We don't eat frogs. The next day we went to Sentosa and Zoo. Evening we went to Singha. There were a lot of tourists. We visited the Singapore Museum one day. I photographed a snap with traditionally dressed Chinese ladies. In Mustafa, an Indian departmental store my wife bought a 24 k gold ring as a gift. Thanks, wife. On Sentosa, I was scared to see down from a cable car cabin. My wife suggested looking downward instead to go sightseeing. Ok. We observed marine life underwater eve. We have a lovely and healthy son Samrat Shakya,8 years old right now after a great struggle. He's an IVF test-tube baby from Sir Ganga Ram, Delhi. Time has flown away like birds. I wish I could fly with my lovely only son and wife to Singapore after 25 years. My wife is a retired IFS topmost manager Royal Nepal. No more job. We're happy. Our first honeymoon PENISULA SINGAPORE was sweet and memorable. Thanks, Hotel PENINSULA SINGAPORE and team.
It was around 63’F (17’C) today in Melbourne and the hot springs felt so good! There are so many pools with different temps and even wet and dry saunas and cold plunge pools and an ice cave! The staff is very attentive and helpful. You can bring your own towels and robes or you can rent them there. We rented robes and a locker. The robes were very nice and thick. The grounds are lovely with tents a greenhouse rooms to also hang out in. Vicki our driver was great and provided super helpful info. The bus was roomy and the seats very comfortable.
Perfect , relaxing, and fun . Spent the whole day in different parts, loved the top ones most. The Turkish pool was so much fun , Best view on the top , when in the hot pool and enjoying watching the scenery ❤️❤️
Such a relaxing day. Loved it! Vicky also made the bus journey so relaxing and enjoyable coming to and from the Springs. A fab day out!
Our guide, Misty, was so kind and knowledgeable, taking the trouble to patiently explain everything in detail, giving us tips based on experience and making recommendations to make the most of our time & ensure that our visit was wonderful!!
Omg!!! I booked this for the end of my trip before a long flight… and it was amazing!!! The relaxation level you reach is to another level!! The views are stunning! The nature is so beautiful!
The day trip was very pleasant. The driver was helpful and accommodating and the Hot Springs experience was great to enjoy. We would have liked 1 more hour. We felt rushed to look at the clock to leave. It was short and 1 hr extra would have made it perfect.
This was such a wonderful thing to do. An afternoon away from the craziness of the city. I have never been so relaxed. So many great pools of varying temps. Our guide, Chris P (kiwi) was very friendly! 10/10 must do!
I would advise to get there early and book. Can be very busy. I been meaning to go for ages and was worth the trip down. Pools can get quite busy so if you like your space get there first thing. Great view from the top pool and a unique experience.
Great way to visit the hot springs if you don't have a car. Easy pickup and drop off from the CBD, plenty of time at the hot springs.
Everything good, driver best he is friendly and excellent everywhere clean water is good very healthy
We had a fantastic time on our visit to Melbourne from Canada! I was so amazed at the health aspect of this tour and we did the fire and ice plunge! We all enjoyed our time and are grateful for the experience !
A naturally beautiful area tastefully constructed amenities I would definitely return but it would be much more economical and relaxing to go directly. We were promised that everything was included but we had to pay for lockers and were not permitted in the spa area. More time would have been nice as well
We had a fantastic day at the Spings . Beautiful tranquil atmosphere . Healthy and relaxing spring baths with plenty of room to get your zen on .
Staff were very helpful. Very clean and tidy. Cafe was only ok. But would definitely recommend the experience.
The drive was quick, the springs were delightful, and our guide Jody was so amazing. A quick, relaxing respite with beautiful views and soothing soaks.
I had THE best day at the hot springs, and would recommend this to anyone! So many different types of hot springs available, and the view from the hot spring at the top was amazing!
From the moment you step foot into the establishment it’s like a fairytale. Absolute amazing experience , the hot spring pools are beautiful and relaxing . With many types to choose from and experience. . A robe / towel and locker can be purchased for $25 , well worth the. money . Cafe was okay but also has a restaurant, which I didn’t get a chance to try . Stylish modern well equiped showers / toilet on site as well . Absolutely a must do experience! Leanne QLD
We had a lovely evening in the thermal pools. We got a bit lost so didn’t see everything but the pools were nice.
Our adventure for the day was a trip to Peninsula Hot Springs - finally, vic, Australia. It had a pretty good view from the mountain top, which supposedly has the hottest bath with a temperature between 38 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius. It can be a family day out for the kids as well, but you might have to watch out for the ice-cold water water plungers. Very therapeutical. It's a trip. I see myself going again with
Dom,driver/ guide got us quickly and safely to the beautiful Peninsula Hot Springs were we had 3 hours of thermal water bathing. There's many different temperature pools, sauna, hammam, thermal showers ect. Scenic, beautiful and relaxing. As quickly as we were transported there we were transported back into the City in a clean and comfortable mini van. Will definitely go again.
Great way to enjoy some relaxation. Our drivers were great. The different temperature pools and views from the top are phenomenal. If you’re brave enough to jump in the plunge pools you might enjoy that too. :) The only thing that would’ve made this even better is if we would’ve gotten at least one more hour of time, other than that it was amazing!!!
Lovely experience in the hot pools and the ride to and back was smooth and punctual. Given the price of the ticket, however, I just wished we could have more time instead of 3 hours at the centre to enjoy the pools a bit more and have a meal there.
150$ 3h at the spa... If you go there by yourself is 70$ the entrance with unlimited time. 80$ for a crowded old bus ride... Not worth it
Our driver was friendly, but never introduced himself or gave any commentary. The check in staff at the hot springs were rude, didn’t explain how things worked or give any kind of direction. Luckily the springs themselves were spectacular!
Perfect place to soothe body aches and pains … especially enjoyed the extra hot pool and infra red cabin. Rejuvenating.
Amazing service, big shout out to J dog/ Janet our driver/guide! The bus was comfortable with checkin to the hot springs seamless. The hot springs itself was wonderfully relaxing and clean.
Feeling good, relaxing & calming after the hot spring . Sleep very well after the hot spring. Wonderful experience.
