Excellent trip. Friendly staff and Darren the driver was wonderful and very knowledgeable. After the hot springs we had a visit to a chocolate shop and tasting which was great too.

Relaxing day enjoying the hot baths and beautiful views of the sea
A perfect day out from Melbourne! Matt was a brilliant driver and tour guide, pointing out beautiful plants and animals to us along the way. And the hot springs are just amazing! So many incredible areas and pools to explore with stunning views in a tranquil location. A very relaxing trip and very well organised. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Melbourne. Thank you!
The hot springs was a great experience. This tour was a great way to visit and see a little of the Mornington Peninsula.
Very nice trip ! Matt (the driver) was nice and funny. The hot spring were huge and so relaxing walking around was a pleasure. A day of relaxation i liked alot.
This was a really great value, well organised tour. Our guide, Adam, was friendly and informative, the Peninsula Hot Springs were perfectly relaxing, and the lookout point was stunning.
Great hot spring in nature! Just keep warm while walking around and exploring! Make sure you have enough time to rest and relax or have a coffee too!
Easy pick up, comfortable bus and very pleasant and cheerful driver - Stewart. 5 hours maybe just a little bit too long in the spa but then it was our 2nd visit so we knew what to expect
Peter was a great guide, and we enjoyed the tour. There was no rush at the springs (had 4 hours which was more than enough) and the view from Arthur's seat was lovely. All in all a fuss free way to see the Mornington without renting a car.
You don’t need to rent the locker, they made me and said I’m not allowed to walk around with a bag, but guess what everybody was walking around with their bag. It’s like a nature preserve. There’s lots of places you put your bag down in the bush beside one of the pools and have a lovely soak. I loved it there. I had an amazing time, space I did the mud thing it was great especially for $20. Also want to give a special shout out to our lovely tour guide of the day on this tour Mathew he was fabulous!
Kinda pricey for a short trip to peninsula, but overall the hotspring is to die for. It is recommended to go 1 night stay in the hotspring to enjoy and relax even more
The hot springs property is massive! All kinds of different pools to choose from! A must for those living for the ultimate relaxation day!
Julia was very friendly approachable and informative as a driver. The springs were amazing. The springs themselves should have some heated drying racks for robes though! As half way through the day they are soaking and cold. But regarding the bus trip itself the stop offs on the way and home weren’t spectacular but aslong as you’re mainly just going for transport to the hot springs it’s great. We got about 4.5 hrs at the hot springs which was great and it was very well organised.
Matt is our driver and tour guide. He is very friendly and adept at engaging us in lively conversations throughout the trip. The tour was highly relaxing, with many picturesque views for us to photograph. We were blessed with excellent weather that allowed us to fully appreciate the stunning skylines and oceanscapes. The Peninsula Spring tour is definitely an easy and enjoyable outing to sign up for.
Had an amazing experience going on the Hot water springs tour with Gina! She went out of her way to make this day a really great one, giving us some very interesting facts about Melbourne and Australia as well as about the places we were headed to (she’s a great storyteller!), always being very happy to take photos and enriching the experience with some wildlife viewing on our way back! Gina also very kindly lent me her powerbank when I needed to charge my phone! I was surprised to learn she was new to tour guiding because she’s done a fantastic job, again thank you so much for everything Gina!!
Our tour guide Shawn is really nice guy and let us know many about the city and information about Australia. Hot spring are absolutely perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend to come here and join this tour! 非常建議參加此溫泉團,我於此溫泉景點逗留4個小時左右再去彩虹小屋。加上司機導遊Shawn 亦有於沿途介紹景點及時些歷史及協助拍攝照片,整體覺得時間分配非常好。
Our tour guide, Shaun, a talented photographer as well as an interesting person proactively introduced the history and story of the beach boxes. Shaun was super helpful. Shaun’s tour is highly recommended. The Peninsular hot springs was relaxing. We spent a great time there.
Our couch’s name was Gina!! & she was amazing! Explained everything to us, nothing was too much for her! Beautiful lady!! The journey was fantastic and the destination was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone
Margaret was amazing! She was such a delight, so helpful and made the tour easy beeezy. The hot springs were LUSH, I felt pampered and relaxed. The look out was so pretty, such a great day for it, clear blue skies and sun out. The beach boxes were so cute and such a nice last stop. All round such a great relaxing and cute day! Would definitely recommend others to give it a go. Thanks again to our guide Margaret making sure we got dropped off at the most convenient spot for the rest of our day.
Margaret, a driver was really friendly and very knowledgeble, She made our tour so wonderful! Highly recommend it and would like come back again!
Unfortunately our flight got cancelled and I was really disappointed to hear that there are no policy for situations like this to at least refund the amount that has been paid for transportation as the hot spring tickets only worth max. $150 for two people, and we paid $370 it would've been great to get at least half of our money refunded as the flight cancellation was absolutely out of our control, we even offered to reschedule for another time and the gentleman from the team said he will look into it and let us know on the same day, we emailed the team to get an update but we didn't receive any phone calls or email... This was not the customer service we expected from tripadvisor and we still hope someone from the team call us and help us with this matter and solve the problem...
the peninsula hot spring was amazing, a true day of relaxation, the tour guide Maigread was very friendly.
Hot springs were amazing. Other experiences were not great. One should do only the hot springs tour and not waste money on others
Most comfortable and stress free relaxing experience for my wife and I in recent years, would highly recommend, but don’t go on weekends or school holidays
I did the Peninsula Hot Springs Tour with Brooke and it was the most fantastic tour! Explore Australia are a great company to go with, and Brooke was like a ray of sunshine. She went out of her way to make sure we had the best day out. Highly recommend!
Journey there and back. The driver's concern for informing guests. Cafe foods and drinks were delicious
We had the time of our lives on this Peninsula Hot Springs tour through Explore Australia. We stopped first by the beach boxes and took some photos, before moving in to the top secret overlook that our guide Margaret took us too. We passed another overlook that as absolutely slammed with buses a bit further up the mountain. Margaret our guide was the absolute best! She was super informative and answered all of our questions on the drive, and Margaret took a genuine interest in our visit to Australia making recommendations to us for things we should see and do.
The hot springs were absolutely amazing .. I would definitely recommend using this tour group because we got good amount of time at springs and were not rushed. Our driver Max was amazing, took us to some really cool spots for kangaroo spotting alongside the usual stops and coffee stops were also really good.
Embarking on the Peninsula Hot Springs and Beach Boxes Day Trip from Melbourne was an unforgettable experience, made even more remarkable by our exceptional tour guide, Margaret. From the moment we stepped onto the comfortable tour bus, Margaret's warm and friendly demeanor set the tone for an enjoyable day ahead. Margaret's extensive knowledge about the region and its attractions was truly impressive. As we made our way to the Peninsula Hot Springs, she regaled us with fascinating stories about the history and significance of the area, painting a vivid picture of its cultural heritage. Her passion for the destination was contagious, leaving us eagerly anticipating the delights that awaited us. Upon arrival at the Peninsula Hot Springs, Margaret's guidance was invaluable. She effortlessly navigated us through the sprawling complex, ensuring that we made the most of our time there. Whether it was indulging in the therapeutic mineral baths, relaxing in the rejuvenating saunas, or immersing ourselves in the tranquil natural surroundings, Margaret was always on hand to offer helpful tips and suggestions. But Margaret's expertise didn't end there. As we moved on to the iconic Beach Boxes, she shared captivating anecdotes about the vibrant history and significance of these colorful structures. Her attention to detail and ability to bring these stories to life truly enriched our visit. We felt a deep connection to the place, thanks to her insightful commentary. What truly set Margaret apart as a tour guide was her genuine care and consideration for each member of the group. She went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt comfortable and had a memorable experience. Whether it was providing assistance to those with mobility concerns or offering recommendations for nearby attractions and dining options, Margaret's attentiveness was unwavering. Throughout the day, Margaret's enthusiasm and infectious energy kept our spirits high. Her engaging storytelling and genuine love for the region created an immersive and enjoyable journey. Her expertise, combined with her warm personality, made her the perfect companion for this day trip.
We took the Peninsula Hot Springs Tour with Explore Australia, one of the most incredible tours we have been on. Our guide Brooke was fantastic. She was so personable and a great conversationalist. The tour took us to a couple of spots where we stayed for about twenty minutes; then, we went to the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs for four and a half hours. This was enough time to explore all the Hot Springs have to offer; they are huge. It was a perfect day trip and super relaxing. We even saw a huge double rainbow on our way home, the perfect end to a perfect day!
Our tour guide Brooke was brilliant a fantastic relaxing day. Brooke was engaging, knowledgeable and included everyone in discussions a very enjoyable day thank you
The tour was definitely worth it, we were picked up on time and has plenty of time at the hot springs. We even went to a brewery which was an extra. The tour guide and drive Matthew was such a delight. He made the trip so much more fun.
Spent 5 hours enjoying the hot springs, and it was amazing! Just what I needed after travelling for more than a month. The driver and coach were excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again
Spas well landscaped & pleasant. Facilities very clean & modern. Helpful staff. Only 1 cafe open which made the wait for food very slow. Otherwise very nice. ✅
The hot spring was most relaxing. And the lookout view of Geelong, Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne was just incredible. I would hope that the trip would have more stop time at the top so we can experience taking the cable car down.
Very crowded in sections. We found a quiet part but would have liked to explore more areas. The young people bombing in the cold plunge pools was not appreciated. They were not respectful of the older generation. A few older couples expressed concern about their behaviour. It did impact on our decision if we would revisit the spa. Loved the steam bath & heat spa. Very well designed with nature all around. The locker set up was not explained to us very well by the wellness centrexstaff as one whole sections was blocked for some large group in the female locker area. The female customers were walking around looking for where to lock up their belongings. The staff at reception were exceptional & very helpful. I went 7 years ago & had a wonderful experience but it was not so busy. We were visiting from Perth. The drivers of the bus were very friendly & accommodating to our needs.
Loved loved these hot springs! Definitely a highlight of my holiday! I swam in every pool, went in every ice box, steam room, and managed to squeeze in the clay body treatment! Definitely worth doing the clay, I recommend booking this at the front desk as soon as you arrive for the 1pm or 3pm treatment. I did the 3pm and I was the only one at the treatment! awesome! I got a touch of heat stroke once I jumped back on the bus, it just hit me, I downed heaps of powerade and food and felt better again. The bus driver was great and stopped at a servo for me to get some food/drinks. Make sure you drink lots of powerade and food! especially on a hot day. Can't wait to go back and stay for 3 nights glamping! Wish I bought a wide brim hat and thongs, needed these! Didn't need the gown, a towel is enough and they provide you with a free towel. The tour guide was excellent, lots of cool interesting facts. Bring a neck pillow so you can sleep on the bus! Wish I bought mine, had it at the hotel.
The bus was comfortable, guides are friendly. Not only the program did offer nearly 5hours of hot springs but also we were able to see boxes at Bromana beach which is same as colorful as in Brighton beach. The springs property is so big and as a fan of hot springs I loved long hours of time in hot springs :). Me myself and my parents was so satisfied.
Had a great experience at the Peninsula Hot Springs. The drive to the Hot Springs was amazing with a strong air-conditioned bus with shutters on the windows. Tour guide was friendly and provided great detail about Melbourne. The hot springs itself was amazing. The place is just beautiful with the hot springs overlooking some of the most beautiful nature scenery. For 3.5 hours, we did a lot at the hot spring and would recommend anyone to do it. After the hot springs, the tour guide took us on a few tour locations which we didn't expect but appreciate the effort.
We had amazing day at hot springs peninsula. Ken was a great driver, very friendly, lots of local knowledge and information and made every passenger feel more than welcome. The bus was very well maintained and clean. The hot springs is definitely a MUST if you visit Melbourne. We just don’t have enough words to describe how a wonderful time we had. GRACIAS!!!
Worth every penny! A good relaxing time out of the city! Matt was great and gave a great laugh all along the way He also Recommended a bakery too, and that was incredible!
My daughter and I were here for two days of shopping in the back Friday sales from Perth. I booked this tour to relax after all the walking around the city.
Fantastic day out to the hot springs, Chris provided a tour which was both insightful and highly entertaining! Even featuring a road-side turtle rescue, alongside a few other wild animal sightings to add to the fun. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a relaxing day out, mixed with a bit of Aussie history.
It was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed all day. Chris was our guide and he is the best in all of Australia, great human being and very knowledgeable.
The staff were very attentive and we so very helpful to me. I had a fall going to the tour bus in Melbourne. I still went in the bus to the tour but the first aid staff said it wouldn’t be good for my body as I needed ice on my ankle, shoulder and knee. I rested in the cafe, and the staff kept changing the ice packs. I would highly recommend the resort as the staff are very caring and very attentive. Thank you so much for looking after me. Carol
Amazing place to spend the day . The water is very warm. And you have many choices warmest or cooler pools
I took a tour with Explore Australia Tours to visit the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs and I had an awsome relaxing day. We also stoped at two great view points along the way. Thank you so much to Mathew our fabulous, guide for the day. He was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and professional and he really took pleasure in his job while making sure we all had a great day and felt part of the group whether solo or in your own group. It does help to be lucky to share this day with some lovely people though. Which was all brilliant for me, as I took this tour as a solo traveller. I will definitely choose them again for future adventures and will of course recommend when i get the chance. Thank you. Tips for travellers: you get a towel provided with this tour operator, but you can also hire a robe and a locker for the day. Bring flip flips (thongs). There is a nice cafe for food and drink on site, but you can also bring your own refreshments and there are lovely places to sit. Make sure you bring an empty water bottle, so you can fill it from the water taps everywhere this water is so nice. The showers and changing facilities are really good, and there is body wash provided. There are power points for a hair dryer if you have one. Extras are available to book so ask at the reception for what's on, so if you wanted to get covered in clay, or take the fire and ice class, or book a massage. I definitely recommend using the cold plunge pools.
We had a great time in the hot springs. Our guide Chris is amazing and knowledgeable, he made the tour experience go above and beyond what we expected. I recommend this tour 100%
As soon as I hopped on the bus with tour guide Matthew I knew it would be a good time. Had good banter and even took us a little bit further to find some kangaroos on our way to the hot springs. Spotted one! Spent about 4 hours at the hot springs and time went so quick even by myself. Would’ve been a bit better if we could’ve booked into the sauna/massage as otherwise you just went around the site changing pools. However I had a massive relaxation and great chats with other guests there. Hill top pool always busy and small but still worth it. Everything on time and then we headed to the bathing boxes, pretty ones. Would recommend!
We had a fantastic day with the friendly and knowledgeable Ken as our guide! The hot springs are amazing and truly relaxing. We had ample time to enjoy the springs before heading to see some gorgeous views. We made some wonderful memories and would definitely do this again!
