Wonderful way to see the Mornington Peninsula. Boat cruise was on a passenger/car ferry. This was not what i was expecting but still enjoyable. Lunch on the cruise was very basic.Everyone had fun strawberry picking.
This tour was cancelled but we were upgraded to the around the bay tour. Our driver was great and made our day. There were only 8 of us on the tour so it was great. We got to see more than our original tour which was a bonus.
The day is stacked with so many cool spots. Ferry ride is fun and if you keep your eyes open may spot some dolphins. Strawberry picking is a lot more enjoyable than you think it will be and each one tastes great. Bill kept the day running smoothly and filled it with a lot of energy.
Sam is very friendly, approachable and easy to talk to. He has a great sense of humour. He can be my tour guide anytime. Keep up the good work Sam !! Hope to see you next time.
Stops at the viewing points and the stroll through pretty Sorrento was lovely and St Andrews Beach Brewery is wonderful. However we had picked this tour over the many others on offer to the peninsula because lunch was described as "During the two-hour sailing journey, you’ll enjoy a lunch of local produce" and "Lovers of food and wine will enjoy this relaxing lunch made up of a shared grazing table of the regions best produce". This turned out to be kiosk vouchers on a car ferry. NOT what we were expecting for our day out.
Margaret was amazing tour guide and brought to all different kind of part in Mornington Peninsula. Due to today wind speed is too high we are unable to head to the cruise and the Arthur Seat but is alright. Margaret head us to different spots and giving us a wine tasting on T'Gallant and Intercontinental Restaurant for cruise compensation. The trip was amazing 👏 we thank for this kind of active and well plan tour guide.
I loved this trip. Our guide was amazing and sweet. Loved every bit of this trip. We stopped at beautiful locations and refreshments were also good.
Elena was very enthusiastic to show us places and the iconic views. She gave personalized service and made sure we had a good time. Glad took this trip.
Our tour guide Maigread was awesome. Maigread certainly knew the area well and was friendly and engaging with all of us.
Maigread was amazing and so informative, a fantastic tour we would highly recommend The bay cruise was fantastic as was the lunch we were served. Brewery was also extraordinary
Worth every penny. The sights were great. The kids enjoyed the itinerary. Brooke and Marnie were fantastic tour guides, very enthusiastic and knowledgable.
I had lots with fun on this tour. Brooke was a great guide! The cruise was lovely and the scenery was so beautiful!
Easy pick up point, onto a very comfortable, clean bus, seating about 30 people. Our guide, Shane, went the extra mile to ensure the tour was a success. He was very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. It was a great mix of activities.
The guide was very friendly, informative and energetic. We had a great experience. We would recommend this tour to friends.
London bridge look out point. View looks good as we were blessed with good weather for the day. Apart from that , the trip was not much to shout out
Had a lovely experience. The two girls were delightful and very knowledgeable. Trip was a highlight of our holiday .
Thank you Explore Australia for giving us such a great tour, my friend and I enjoyed every single moment of our tour. Thank you Matt and Brooke, you are an amazing guides.
Such wondweful day trip enjoying the beautuful coastlines, cold wind, ferry ride and interesting spots. With a fantastic guide, Brooke, who is so bubbly and attentive. Makes our day!
Average tour, Would not do it again, whilst the driver was friendly and he conducted the tour to his best, I feel the ferry trip was very average, food poor, I asked for sourdough bread, this did not occur, the food packs were all from the kiosk bar on the vessel, as I had witnessed, at the end of the day felt the driver was slightly exceeding speed at one point, felt inclined to say slow down but was too embarrassed to, Anyway I saw what I wanted but would choose another style company next time, I heard that the tour company is associated with the cruise ship Carol
Informative and personable guide and driver Good info on the places visited Scenery was great and enjoyed the brewery at the e d of the tour
Highly recommend this day trip. Filled with beautiful scenery, comfy travel, tasty visit to the brewery. Gorgeous spots to stop reflect and be in awe. Nice trip across on the ferry and back, my gluten free lunch was a generous portion but could have had tastier bread for my sandwich. Lots of special treasures noticed and photographed. A great day out seeing the peninsula area.
Very relaxing, enjoyable day. Mark, our driver / guide was very knowledgeable and relaxed which helped in the enjoyment of the day.
Our guide Pete was superb we loved his backs and stories. He was determined for us to spot a kangaroo and went the extra mile for it. They were considerate to have vegan options and lunch. Would highly recommend it.
Thank you Brook for the warm hospitality. It was a relaxing day out with my girlfriends, sight seeing for bath houses, London bridge and Arthurseat, round trip boat ride to Queenscliff with quite an extensive lunch (we spotted the dolphins!!) and end with beer tasting at St Andrew Beach Brewery. Love the variety of activities, get to explore the nature but not always in the car traveling. Love Mornington and definitely a chill day out.
Peter was good fun and flexible as there were only three of us on the tour. He was also knowledgeable and shared in an upbeat manner. Thank you.
A very well run experience, my wife and I enjoyed it very much. The glorious weather(for Melbourne) helped.
We had a small group on the bus: 6 people for the hot pools and 2 - incl myself - for the peninsula tour. The view at Portsea was magnificent, only the horseflies where a real pest; they were everywhere! At Sorrento we boarded the ferry and got a delicious lunch pack and reserved table, it was perfect. The real bonus were the dolphins who swam alongside the ferry, I loved it! The brewery visit with beer tasting was welcome as it was a hot day. The hotpool lovers were picked up again and of we went to a beautiful lookout for some great pictures. A 10 minute stop at the beach to see the coloured beach sheds just wasn't long enough, it was a hot day and we would have liked a swim. All in all it was a well organized, fabulous day.
Driver fun and cordial. Disappointed that the « cruise » was actually a ferry crossing and not a boat trip along the coast. Picnic lunch was excellent. A beach with a few more colourful beach huts would have been nice
Our guide was great...happy disposition. But the content should be changed. The 2 hr cruise to Queenscliffe was too long...felt like it was a time filler. Could have done with more time at Portsea to walk on the beach to London Bridge. Also more time at Sorrento to walk along the shops to enjoy the vibe.
A very enjoyable day, which showed us a lot more about Australian life and history. Our driver/guide, Ken, was friendly and knowledgeable.
We loved this tour. We had Chris (aka Bear) as our tour guide. He was funny, entertaining and with so much knowledge he shared makes him a great ambassador for Victoria as well as Australia. If you get him as your guide you will be sure to have a fun day. He was such an engaging guy and an asset to Explore Australia. We had booked the cruise at Mornington Peninsula and the beer paddle tasting at a brewery. Most on the bus were booked for the hot spring spa but 3 of us did the cruise. It was a rainy day but thankfully it only rained when we were on the cruise, so undercover. Millionaires walk was stunning. The beer tasting was fantastic. Chris recommended we sip the beer before reading the details about it. He was spot on. It was fun guessing what was in it. The floral notes were evident in one of them. Funny enough the ferry ride was just a cruise across the harbour but we loved watching the surrounds. The lunch was really great. I highly recommend doing this tour as it was the best one we have ever done, and a lot of that comes down to our amazing guide Chris. Kudos to Chris. Good job mate. A trillion stars from us.
A knowledgeable tour guide whom goes the extra mile to make our trip interesting, Matthew. Interesting sites, London Bridge, the mouth of Philip Bay and the Murray lookout
This trip was a surprise pre celebration for our daughter. She loved it so much. The cruise was nice and we all enjoyed it. Chris our tour guide was really good, very informative and bubbly. The sight seeing was beautiful. On the whole, we enjoyed our trip.
There were two groups on the same bus, one was destined to the spa only and another to the cruise and lunch on the Mornington Penisula with London Bridge and other attractions in the package. When we arrive at the spa, the driver cum tour guide didn't make any effort to find out who was on which package. We thought that there were some last minute changes and didn't ask the driver but was told by someone on the bus that the cruise was fully booked so the detour to the spa. At the spa we were ill equipped to enjoy the dip in the hot spring water so we ended buying the swim wears and slippers there which cost us more than 50% of the cost of the package. We fervently hope that the tour operator pay extra attention to inform those sharing the same bus with different packages about the tour they were supposed to be on.
First stop should be in a small town, quirky cafe not at a horrible foodary service station. Need to have more small stops of interest enroute. The "sail" on the bay was just a boring ferry trip there and back, not as described. Did not get to see any of the best parts of the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day in and around the Mornington Peninsula. The ferry ride and millionares' walk were my absolute favourite parts. To top off the experience, our bus driver and guide, Kyle, enhanced the day because he was a wealth of knowledge but more importantly, he was a friendly and engaging person. If you are on a tight schedule and want to visit the Mornington Peninsula, this day trip will give you a fantastic taste of this beautiful part of Victoria.
We had a wonderful driver Adam. Was very accommodating, kind and knowledgeable Was a great way to see different parts of the Mornington Peninsula
The cruise was nice and relaxing with good food and drinks. Matt did a great job as guide. The two walks were moderate and interesting.
We had a great day and tour . The places we seen we would not have visited specially this tour. Driver was good and we were lucky to have George& polly on cruise on bay .
The trips was so good, I want to go again. Matthew our guide was so passionate and giving background information on every part of the trips in an enthusiastic, especially when he help a lizards on the road to prevent it getting run over, great environmentalist. The beer and London Bridge was my favorite part, the beers and venues are great and so exciting, I wish I could have more than 1 hour to finish them up, don't want them to go to waste ;). Last thing is for the other guest, Mira, Ralph, Nickel, Sabrina, Silas, Anesia, Danny, Naomi, Ryan, Samantha and finally Matthew you guys are the best, let me express myself and being free for the whole trips, I have a great day. I hope to see you guys again soon. Thanks you, I'm really glad I met you guys.
It felt like our group was ticking the tasks on the tour at points it felt like we were having an experience similar to that you'd find in a taxi :(. Our guide didn't give blurbs about the signifigances of many of the larger stops and could've been more clear about what we were doing on the ferry/cruise. Lunch is a big grazing box probably built for two but it's given out one per person so go there hungry or BYO doggy bag. The bewry should be made optional as our group was not interested in beer tasting although the location was pretty.
The whole trip was amazing. I really enjoyed every single station especially the bay cruise. It was a wonderful experience. Matt, who was our guide, made our trip comfortable and exciting.
My husband and I chose this day tour as we had never been to the Mornington Peninsula and we were also wanting to go on the gondola so this was the reason for picking this tour and we are so glad we did. Our tour guide Peter was just brilliant, he had a lot of knowledge of all the places we went to and was also very layed back which made us all feel so relaxed. We couldn't fault anything and even got to see an echidna crossing the road and a huge roo jumping fences but the highlights were the bay cruise as you could either sit back and chill out or make your way to the upper deck for fab pics and dolphin spotting. We were even presented with a huge box filled with so many different goodies for lunch. We took half of it back home as there was just so much of it but was absolutely lovely and the other highlight was the gondala. It's another great photo opportunity with gorgeous views over Melbourne. The brewery was also great, we were given a tasting paddle each which had 4 different beers to try and it was also a great way to interact with the rest of the guests. We wouldn't hesitate in doing this tour again and neither should you, you won't regret it.
The tour was amazing. The schedule was spot on, wasn't too rush and didn't need to travel too far in between sightseeing points. Had a relaxing time. The hamper was surprisingly good! Mostly local produce which is also a good way to respect the locals. Our tour guide Mathew was very friendly and helpful, explaining and sharing information along the way!
Wonderfully assorted day tour guided by Peter, an excellent host and steady driver. Interesting assortment - from (enormous) lunch on the ferry to drinks at the brewery, oh and a cable ride too. Delighted to see Dolphins and Kangaroos ( not in the same field though) Don’t hesitate , book it!
Had a great time, our tour guide, kyle was very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and being in a small group was a bonus. We live in Victoria, and are fairly familiar with the coast. It was awesome to visit some of the areas and enjoy some experiences that we hadn't had before.
This day trip is a great one if you want to get a taste of the sights on the Mornington Peninsula. It has a lot of diverse things included from natural rock formations and a sky gondola ride to time spent enjoying some beers at a charming brewery. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area making the whole day a pleasurable experience. It is also a small group tour which allows you to get a more personalised trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our day!
Great tour with a fantastic guide. We visited many great places and our guide explained us a lots of things about history and nature around it. Highly recommend.
Superb day on the Mornington peninsula with our guide Maigread. Lots of explanations along the way. The stop at London Bridge is a great place. The original lunch break on the ferry. The tasting tour of the St Andrew Brewery in very original old stables.
