This tour was just the right amount of time for us. The highlight was seeing the animals, especially Frosty, the koala and also the kangaroos. Leo, our tour guide made the entire experience very enjoyable! He was on time and very knowledgeable.

Top rate! Highly recommend. Fred was an awesome tour leader. The Sanctuary did not disappoint. The Brighton Beach bathing houses were fun, colorful and were fun to photograph.

Brighton beach houses were a lovely sight but Moonlit wildlife sanctuary is the highlight of the tour! Love that the birds and even one wallaby were roaming around. The sanctuary is well maintained and it has got a lovely souvenir shop that shares the same space as their cafe. Kudos to Fred, our sprightly guide and driver who told us jokes and stories to make the half day tour so enjoyable!

This was a bucket list item. Got to pet a koala and see them in actions lots of kangaroos, Tasmanian devil, etc. our guide was the absolute BEST! He is what made the trip so great!

The pick up and drop off were convenient. The beach boxes were nice to see. I enjoyed Walter’s ( our tour guide) commentary on the history of the beach boxes and their continued significance. The moonlit sanctuary was great. I paid extra to pet a koala which was definitely worth it. This is a great half day tour ( not a lot of walking ) but definitely a lot of animals to see.

Sarah was a fabulous guide. She was very knowledgeable and knew a lot of the animals by name. She made sure we had a great experience.

It was good a little chilly at the beach. Then on to Moonlit. It was a great ride out. I enjoy look at the country side of Melbourne. Our tour guide was outstanding. I enjoy myself the whole day.

Fred is the best, funny, knowledgeable, and many many cool stories. So awesome to be up and close with many animals you don't see anywhere else, definitely a must tour.

Love the sanctuary! But as any place with animal feeding- it depends on how hungry they are. We were lucky to go early when they were.

I had an amazing experience on this tour! The Brighton Beach Boxes were beautiful and a great place to take photos, and the wildlife sanctuary was definitely the highlight of the day. Seeing kangaroos and koalas up close was unforgettable. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the day fun while sharing interesting facts about the places we visited. Everything was well organized, the transportation was comfortable, and we had enough time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. Great half day out, our guide Sarah was great! She gave us loads of information and showed us around the sanctuary.

Today , and this excursion was one of the highlights of our trip for my husband and I. We ended up with a private tour with Bert , as we were the only ones signed up! Short stop to see the colorful beach boxes, then on to Moonlit Sanctuary. A quick orientation then on our own for yhe rest. Make sure you get kangaroo food...they come right up to you...and sign up for the koala experience...you get to pet the Koala and take as many pictures as you want. Much more to see as well, a great day...and guide!

Convenient, on-time pickup & drop-off. Elli was our guide, good driver and interesting commentary. Clear weather made for great photos of Brighton Boxes. Moonlight was a delight: thoughtfully designed and a great opportunity to see our Aussie faves in the morning hours when the are more active. Highly recommended.

Tess was our guide and she was very knowledgeable passed on local history, interesting local NFL and played local music for us to get more of an Australian experience which rates high for me. Despite rain part of trip made sure we did the most for our day and still enjoyed the outing. Great guide👍🏻

Herb was our guide and he was a friendly and safe driver. Gave us a great tip to head straight back to see the kangaroos first. The sanctuary was well worth the hour drive to get there. Animals are well cared for. Enjoyed the 20 minute show about training the animals.

One of the best days of my life! This sanctuary could not be more hands on. I’ve learned SO much today about Melbourne also from our FANTASTIC driver and guide Josh. 💯 recommend!!! Kangaroos, wallaby’s, koalas, dingos, and a Tasmania Devil among tons of ducks and birds. Such a wonderful place to visit. Go early in the day while they are still hingry and not full and sleepy.

We had a great guide who gave us facts along the way about Melbournes history. The sanctuary was amazing. The Beach boxes were so cute and unique. This tour was recommended to me by 2 different people and I will recommend to anyone coming to Melbourne. I hope next trip over I can do the penguin parade.

Just a wonderful way to spend the morning. Fun stop at Brighton Beach. Just enough time to see the bath/box houses and dip your toes in the water if you choose. Moonlit was a delight where you’re able to feed the kangaroos and wallabies but also be educated at the same time. Just enough time. The best part was getting there before the crowds were the animals are still hungry and want to eat out of your hand. Big thanks to Josh. It was amazing as our host for the morning!

The entire experience was amazing. I also got spend time petting Frosty the Koala which was an experience in itself. There were kangaroos and wallabies roaming free so you were able to feed and pet them. 10/10 would recommend

We had a wonderful guide! He knew the area well and shared some great stories which made the long drive time go by fast. The half day tour was worth the money and thanks to our entertaining guide, he made the trip that much more fun!

I was very disappointed my experience to this sanctuary. We did visit in summer and there hadn't been rain in the area since October, but the whole area looked very very dry and burnt. The animals were in 'gages' some larger than others. You were lucky if there was one animal in a pen. Compared to Cleland Park in Adelaide, this park is a disappointment. I felt really bad for the animals.

Josh was our driver and he did a fantastic job!! It was the perfect amount of time at each place! 10/10
