Company cancelled the flight at the last minute then kept $100 in 'booking fees' My advice would be to keep shopping, buy elsewhere.

Good afternoon, what about some compensation considering we were not notified of the cancellation and attended the meet up point at 6 am on Sunday morning after travelling from Albury/Wodonga (four hours away) and a night accommodation? Only to have to do our own running around calling when no one picked us up. I think $300 compensation will cover the fuel and the accommodation for our very disappointing weekend. And just to confirm I have contacted consumer affairs who have advised me that reasonable compensation should be awarded in this type of scenario. James.

Chris was fantastic! He explained everything thoroughly and made us feel very safe and secure. He is extremely knowledgeable with over 30 years experience. He pointed out certain landmarks as we came across them and we even flew over his daughter who then sent him a selfie 🤣 He captured my partner proposing to me on video and now I can rewatch that moment forever 🥰 He was very comical and had a great sense of humour making the whole experience a joy. We will definitely be doing this again!

We loved our balloon rode with Chris and Richard. It was very relaxed. We got to learn about the set up and pack up, and other aviator fun facts. A champagne breakfast was a great way to end the experience.

The communication and planning involved from the Balloon Man team was outstanding. Chris and Quin (Hope I got that right) ensured we had a wonderful time and at the same time ensured our safety. The views were just breathtakingly beautiful. Showed a completely different side of Melbourne. Must do activity if you’re in Melbourne or visiting Melbourne!

My issue is with Tripadvisor and Viator. Balloonman cancelled and Tripadvisor/Viator did not refund the payment in full. Book direct with whichever company is providing the experience - Tripadvisor/Viator offers nothing but fees. I would have complained but they are impossible to reach by email or phone.

It was our first time trying a Hot Air Ballon and most of us had butterflies in our stomach climbing in. The Team , 3 gentlemen all called Chris, started our journey to a field where the beautiful balloon was unfolded and aired up. Going up into the sky was beautiful.
