Our guide Andrew is passionate about coffee and food. His explanation of how coffee is roasted together different flavours was easy to follow. He offered multiple types of coffee, some of which I have never heard of. Catered well for those that requested non-dairy milk. His stories about Melbourne and its people were a bonus. Highly recommended.

You'll get a really good idea of how they compare against each other. Your guide will chat about where the coffee comes from, examine some raw beans and answer all your questions. Great walking tour. Andrew made the tour interesting not only from a coffee perspective but also with history of Melbourne and the development of the city. The coffee tasting on the various independent coffee houses was great. I am only sad I did this experience on the last day of my holiday as I would have had great fun experiencing so much more coffee. The "magic" coffee was my all time favorite
Our guide was knowledgable about the history, the geography of coffee around the world and of ofcourse on where to find excellent coffee in Melbourne.
Big thank you to Andrew, who gave us the best experience. We learned so much about Melbourne's history, coffee and the different beans and ways to celebrate coffee in Australia. Along with many restaurant, coffee and bar recommendations in the city was it the perfect start for our Melbourne stay. Thanks!
My wife and I did this tour and loved it. The group is small so everyone can fit in the cafes we visited for the various type of coffees provided as part of the tour. The tour is informative in many ways - the various flavours and notes of different coffees, the history of Melbourne's CBD and various arcades. and history of coffee in Australia. Highly recommended, even to those who are already familiar with coffee as a whole, which is most Australians, and for overseas tourists to get an understanding of the level that coffee culture plays in Melbourne - one of the main coffee capitals of the worlds
A truly memorable tour. We really enjoyed this tour and learnt so much about coffee but also about Melbourne. Our guide, Andrew, was fantastic and clearly very knowledgeable and passionate. Would highly recommend!
Fun way to spend the morning getting to know the city. Learned a lot about the history of Melbourne and coffee, of course.
Guide was very knowledgeable about coffee and Melbourne. We explored quite a bit of the CBD and he explained the history of coffee and the city.
We did this tour on a Saturday morning. Great way to explore some of the best coffee spots in Melbourne and some of the hidden gems in the city. Our guide Andrew had great insight and stories to share. An ideal tour of you are visiting Melbourne or a local. Highly recommend.
Andrew is terrific and very knowledgeable. A great walk around Melbourne CBD and some interesting coffee. Highly recommended.
This was a great tour! Melbourne is obviously famous for its coffee but could be overwhelming to try find the best yourself. So do this tour. Our guide Andrew was excellent. Insightful and engaging, really knows his stuff with lots of great coffee stories and some fun Melbourne anecdotes too. Highly recommend this if you like coffee obviously but if you don’t this would probably convert you!
A marvelous tour for a coffee lover who visits Melbourne regularly. With a myriad of coffee bars & cafes in Melbourne, how does one start to differentiate & choose which venue for one’s morning coffee or three? Monique, our guide, treated our tour group of 8 to 4-5 different coffee establishments in Melbourne’s laneways. We were given an informal history of Melbourne’s coffee culture, history of coffee & essentials pertaining to the appreciation of one’s ’cuppa Joe’ whether it be espresso, black or with milk/mylk & filter coffee. Tasting, comparing & discussing was illuminating for us all. Monique also mentioned numerous venues which we did not visit on the tour. The baristas at the chosen cafes were skilled & happy to offer samples or cups of coffee as predetermined by Monique. Thank you Monique; I also liked the way you drew out the experiences & preferences of the guests on the tour; it all added to our appreciation of this wonderful & complex world wide popular drink.
I highly recommend this coffee tour - thank you very much Monique for being the perfect guide; professional, knowledgeable without being overbearing, patient despite the heat and crowds, and made sure everyone felt included.
Such a lovely tour. Just read the other reviews but it was truly amazing! Whether you are a coffee beginner or nerd: Everyone will learn something new :) 10/10
Excellent tour guide. So knowledgeable about coffee and recommended some good spots after the tour too. The cafes we went to were all different and had excellent coffee.
Great tour with a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. A good mix of several tastings and historical background of coffee influencers and their contributions to the Melbourne coffee scene.
Loved, loved, loved this tour! Monique was a fantastic guide. She had so much knowledge of not only coffee, but the history of Melbourne. We got to know the people on our tour and we all had a fantastic morning. First time I had tried an espresso, thought it was something I wouldn't like, but not the case. Enjoyed it!
Monique led a great coffee tour of four amazing and unique coffee shops. My wife and I had amazing drinks of our choosing at each shop and learned a lot about coffee and Melbourne’s rich coffee heritage. Check out a few of the drinks we enjoyed!!!
Monique was a knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating tour guide. A lovely variety of spots visited which we never would have stumbled upon otherwise.
Monique is a wealth of knowledge, very relaxing way to enjoy Melbourne’s coffee culture. Many different cafes and laneways that you would never know existed. A must do for coffee lovers .
Brilliant tour! Monique was very friendly and full of great info, and it was great to learn all things coffee (from roasting to different coffee-making methods), trying different styles of coffee and finding a few hidden gems in terms of cafés. The lovely people in the group today was an added bonus. Well worth it and thanks!

I really enjoyed this tour and Monique our guide was excellent, not only did she provide great information on all facets of coffee, she also provided some history on Melbourne. Great experience. Learnt a lot about Melbourne coffee scene and beans. Too much caffeine but morning well spent and still slept well that night.
Loved every minute of it. Great to understand coffee: it's source, history, how to get the most out of a coffee bean, and the local business that are passionate about it. Great to do the taste comparisons. Monique was a wealth of knowledge and a lovely person to boot!
The coffee lovers walking tour was the perfect blend of exploration, information and superb coffee, hosted by the warm, fun and super-knowledgable Monique. Her passion for coffee and Melbourne shone through three hours of chatting, strolling and sipping, which went by all too quickly. I particularly noticed how beautifully she included a participant who didn't drink coffee. No fuss, no eye-rolling – Monique ensured this person felt fully included and welcome. Likewise, she made it easy and comfortable to say if a certain coffee wasn't to your taste. Whether you love coffee or not, you will love this tour. Unreservedly recommended.
My sister and I really enjoyed walking to different coffee stops and learnt some new information about coffee. It was insightful and an easy stroll covering lots of history of coffee in Melbourne and different styles of coffee.

It was fun and nice group member. Tour Guide was specialist for Coffee and Coffee history in Australia. I just would like to join again.
This tool was great fun. The tour guide Monique really knew her stuff and had a great deal of knowledge about coffee and all coffee related information. She imparted her stories with enthusiasm and they are extremely interesting and enjoyable. We had a chance to stop at a number of coffee places and tried not only different types of coffee beans but also different styles of coffee. Monique explained the background of each of the styles and had related stories. He was a great way to spend a few hours and have a lot of fun and enjoy some wonderful coffee. I have no hesitancy in recommending this tour to anyone, especially if you love coffee.
