Michael was a great guide! He was fun and informative and overall very helpful. The penguins were definitely worth seeing and he gave us tips on how to see them best.

Go West Penguin Parade tour was a full day of sights. Several stops along the seaside for historical points. Sherif was full of facts , history and games during the drive around Melbourne ( I won). He and the trainee were experts at spotting wildlife along the route, & He even entertained us with a Digeridoo serenade of Happy Birthday for one of the guest. The highlight was the penguins of course, which Go West provided Upgraded seating for great viewing.
I had a wonderful trip! My tour guide/driver Ben was so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, with excellent service throughout. He made my journey enjoyable and stress-free. Highly recommend him , and I would love to travel with him again on my next vacation!
A great day-long tour to Phillip Iskand for the Penguin Parade experience. This is a rwview of Go West and our guide (Robbo) - NOT the PPE. The Go West tour itself, and our guide Robbo, were simply excellent. Can't praise either highly enough. Very organised tour, and Robbo's knowledge and enthusism throughout the day was simply superb. Definitely recommend this company.
Jono was an awesome guide. He was funny and helpful and knowledgeable.
Alex was amazing we had an absolutely incredible time, never had so much fun singing and cheering with a tour group together for the day. Alex is the best!
Jools and mascot, Gumnut, were amazing. Very informative, personable, and funny too! Really enjoyed this experience.
The trip is really awesome. My tour guide Johnel is so experience. Perfect time management. Detailed explanation. The little penguin is so cute and lovely. I strongly recommend this Go West Tour!!!
Really good experience, great job!
Amazing experience with Jai he was a great guide with a lot of fun facts. He was also very energetic and entertaining. Thank you Jai
I has a wonderful time on the GoWest Tours around Melbourne and the penguin parade. We got to see so many great sights, like the Brighton Beach boxes, Moonlit Safari and Phillip Island. The tour guide/driver Simon was incredible. He gave just the right amount of fun facts and info as well as tips of how to best navigate the different attractions. He really did an excellent job the entire day. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, Simon was a fantastic guide, and I would definitely recommend the experience to others!
Alisha our guide was friendly and helpful. Service was excellent
Jools (and Gumnut) gave us a wonderful, easy, and joyful tour with her humor and timely tips to make the most of the trip. 🥰
Wonderful tour and Michael Is fantastic guide, Simply the best!!!
We had an amazing trip with Jools seeing the sights of Melbourne. She was patient and very accomodating going out of her way to show us the sights. The tour wasn’t rushed and very informative. The Penguin Parade is a must see and an unforgettable experience. I do recommend wrapping up if you are doing it in winter.
Jools is the sweetest tour guide. She is knowledgeable, fun , experienced, super sweet , thoughtful and safe driver. She goes abbe and beyond and extremely efficient in getting people to find her bus in the crowd. She made the day special. Melbourne city tour is great to do. Phillip Island with pingüino parade is unique and a must do if in Melbourne.
Robbo is a sweet, gentle, and friendly soul. His tour was incredibly detailed and professional, and he’s a pretty funny chap who had us all laughing. This tour made my day — highly recommend!
Jess was our tour guide. FIVE STARS from start to end. She was awesome, she says she’s only been doing this for 7.5 months but it didn’t seem like it - seemed like she has been at it for years! She knew all the tips and short cuts, and we were well on time. Amazing photographer too, always at the stop to help us take photos! She played some games on the bus but we were a reserved lot, so we were a little quiet but she’s great with us :) Keep going Jess, and hope to see you again on another tour! Much love and all the best xx
The tour was amazing we had a great time. Jacqui was a very enthuasiastic and knowledgable guide, we loved hearing about the history of melbourne and sights. Definitely worth doing the tour! Particularly moonlit sanctuary and penguin parade!
This was a lovely experience, stopped off at a couple of beaches on the way down to Philip Island. Also stopped at a wildlife sanctuary, got to hand feed the Roos and Wallabies. Unfortunately it was raining quite heavily when we got to the Penguin Parade but seeing those little fellas waddling out of the sea and up to their burrows was very heartwarming. Big shout out to our guide Raquel, she was very informative and we could tell that she has a real passion for all the animals. It’s a 12 hour tour but her enthusiasm made it feel a Lot shorter. Would highly recommend.
Aleks made the trip sensational!l Beside being very knowledgeable she was able to convey so much information in an interesting and entertaining manner! Vehicle was clean and she was a great driver. Don’t hesitate - just remember to dress warm if going to penguin parade - gets cold at night by the water!! Food stops well planned and lots to choose from.
David N was a super guide and the trip was excellent. Well worth it
We have a very good time for the Melbourne day tour! Our tour guide Mark K. is absolutely fantastic! He is rich in history and feels like he is opening a culture book in front of us! The bus is comfortable, aircon is working very well. The sightseeing spot is awesome especially love the penguin parade, it is something must see in life! Only bit bored for the repeating beach stops , I will suggest maybe something different!
Awesome experience! Aleks is amazing. Her humor and sunshine personality added more fun to the trip. She gave good instructions about what to look out for and the tips for good dinner and best seat to take for a panaromic view to catch the penguins at the penguin parade. Thank you Aleks!
Well worth it. Julie was superb.
Good pacing and fun tour. Would go again! Rach was also a fun engaging driver and guide. The penguins were fun to watch especially!
My wife and I wanted to bring our three year old daughter to see the penguins at Philip Island. Since tickets were hard to procure and Philip Island was quite a ways away, having a tour company take you was certainly the best option. It's a full day trip so be prepared to spend some time on the bus. All in all it was a very worthwhile afternoon and evening. Special thanks to Jon C for his informative introductions along the route. I most enjoyed the humor. Would recommend to all especially families.
Such a fun and interesting tour with Mel. We learned about and experienced a good bit of Melbourne and walked on a beautiful beach and the Nobbies boardwalks, popped by the Phillip Island Grand Prix Moto Circuit on the way to the Pennguin Parade. She was accommodating to a diverse group and managed to keep us together and having a great time. Brilliant!
Mel was an excellent guide. The tour was well paced, informative and insightful. The penguin parade in Phillip Island was awesome!
Everything went perfectly from contacting our booking agent then rebooking due to very high temperatures to the full day tour with Tom. Right on time pick up and tour going south to Fitzroy, St Kilda and F1 track, boxes on the beach and then on to Phillips Island to see all the beautiful scenery culminating in the Penguin parade. Tom was knowledgeable, cool, calm and collected. A great host! Highly recommend
I had a great experience on the Phillip Island Penguin Parade tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Lucy. I rarely come across a guide who puts so much genuine effort into making sure everyone has a great experience.
Alisha is very nice, kind, and always be friendly to everyone! I really enjoy the trip today ~
Jacqui was our tour guide for the tour and she was awesome. Super friendly and full of information. The tour does feel a bit rushed in order to hit all the spots but overall is worth it.
Great trip expertly managed by Rick. Good atmosphere and very knowledgeable about each stop off point. Would recommend to anybody visiting Australia
What a Great trip, we thoroughly enjoyed the loveable penguins. It is an experience you want to see and not miss. So sweet.
Matt is an awesome tour guide, warm personality and lovely! He’s very helpful and patient, with very good taste of the song choices on the bus!
This Great ocean road Tour was fantastic, I was able to see so many Beautiful places including Torquay! The thrill for me was the actual sign saying Great ocean road and having pictures taken there also hearing about how this road came about was interesting, another ticked off the Bucket list, the stops were plentiful and very picturesque with the panoramic views and the gorgeous Ocean, over 500 km of travelling , the cool rain forest was definitely a highlight with the Ash mountain trees standing tall, the Apostles were intriguing especially as the Tour leader explained how these developed over many years and how they may not be here forever due to erosion etc, Jaqui was so informative and friendly and clearly loves doing this Tour . I had the opportunity to go for the stunning and thrilling Helicopter ride which swooped over the coastline brilliantly. There's soo much to this day and the Wildlife in these areas is very good. Worth every penny/ cent and great to experience this Tour with such a nice group of people. Highly recommend doing this Tour with Go West
Excellent tour with Lucy as our guide. We enjoyed her knowledge and all the destinations, especially the penguin parade. I can easily recommend this tour to others.
The guide names Bluey was great and the tour was awesome and day well spent. Definitely consider to book the tour from them.
My tour guide, Aleks, was amazing! I had such an enjoyable time. She made the trip fun, informative, and safe, with plenty of great insights throughout. I’d choose another Go West tour again.
Very friendly tour guide (Tim) He was extremely knowledgeable and there was a lovely atmosphere on the bus and with the group. Visited many Melbourne City highlights Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend this tour.
Had a wonderful tour.. our guide and driver Alisha was truly fun and made it great experience.. highly recommended tour
Thank you, Jai, for an unforgettable guiding experience. Your bright smile and genuine passion made everything feel like sharing with friends, not just a tour. We’ll definitely recommend you to everyone back in Hong Kong – for the best time, ask for Jai! Leo & Esther
We joined the pinguin parade trip in Phillip Island today and it was amazing. Despite the weather, everything was perfect. Our host, Bluey, is so attentive, informative, fun n quite hilarious as well. We thank him for the unforgetful day!
Wonderful tour to see penguins. Expect a long day but worth it try and get Chris as driver. Excellent
This is one of the best day tour I joined. Robbo explained everything, went down with us to make sure the group isn’t lost. And communicates so clearly. Not rushing through the itinerary which is great!
We enjoyed our day with Jess. She was informative, very nice and very patient! Be prepared for a long day and alot of great memories and photos!
Chris N has been a great guide. Kind and easy to talk with. Taking care of us nicely and even decided to drop us somewhere closer to our hotel ! Thank you.
It was a really good experience .the tour guide was funny and entertained us all throughout the trip .We got to meet new people
We enjoyed our 11 hours well worth the long day to hear the history of Melbourne and Phillip island and all the great stops throughout the day. Beautiful sight seeing beaches animals even had photos of Dingoes standing on our lap. A very big Thankyou to James C our tour guide for his great knowledge of our country and good driving and keeping us all safe. The only disappointment was at the penguins parade as there were many rude tourists who would not turn off their phones. This is a strictly No photo zone as the flashlight frighten the penguins. 2500 people each night viewing these beautiful creatures is far too many no wonder the have declined.
