My family and I really enjoyed this experience. Our tour guide was extremely informative and entertaining. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in Cricket or AFL.

Very informative. Great to see our magnificent MCG empty, so you can appreciate the size of the ground and stands.
Its very informative and it gave a different view of mcg makes us want to watch the future games here
Graeme gave an awesome tour! He obviously knows a lot about cricket’s rich history in Melbourne. After the tour, we spent about an hour going through the museum.
Our guide, Stephen, showed and told us of the complete workings of our MCG and it was fabulous to see and learn so many things along the way. Stephen was so friendly and invested in his role making it an enjoyable experience all the way through. So glad i booked it.
great tour, our guide was very nice and knowledgeable although a little difficult to hear at times. We also enjoyed the sports museum which was very interactive.
Fantastic tour. Would highly recommend it. Very well run Very educational Melbourne cricket ground tour is a tour that you must do
The volunteer guide Derry who took us through was very knowledgeable but softly spoken. He was passionate about the history & shared interesting facts. Due to the AFL finals coming up the sound check was taking place which made it tricky to hear at times. Highly recommend this tour which included the Australian Sports Museum as well. There’s no time limit on wandering through the museum & there is an interactive kids area. Lots of statues in the grounds to look at too. Having access to the cloakroom was great for storing our bags as we headed to the airport straight after.
Enjoyed every minute of it. So pleased I did it. Really good tour director who is very passionate about the tour
Great experience. Ian was a terrific guide. Very informative and gave personal insights as well. He kept us moving as there was so much to see. Well worth doing this tour.
Fantastict tour well worth the price. Our guide Peter was very good. Pace of the tour was good. Combined it with a tour of the sports museum.
Absolutely fantastic experience. A great history of the G from the volunteer tour guides. Museum was amazing. So much to see. Well worth a visit
MCG tour was awesome….spectacular stadium with a wonderful history. Thank you Mr. Brendan for the fantastic tour. Also enjoyed the great history of Australian Sports in the sports museum. Thanks so much….from the great state of Idaho, USA.
Great info about history of MCG, the members, Cricket, and Australian rules Football. We are here from the US to see the NFL game here next month and wanted to get a peak of the venue.
Mark was the best. Entertaining, funny, informative and a good sport. This was booked for hubby as his part of family weekend away, but we all enjoyed it. Put it in the to do list as a must in Melbourne.. there's no Mick in Mark (you'll get it when you do the tour with Mark).
Its was a great experience. Only thing I would add is 75 mins was not enough. We thought the trip would be two hours, but we had only 1hour time approx and museum also closed earlier to an event, so we missed quite a lot. Otherwise it was fund experience.
A very good experience with good access too some interesting areas. The sports museum was good but no horse racing which is the 3rd biggest industry for employment in the country and no mention of the West Coast Eagles and Brisbane Bears saving the VFL in 1986.
The tour of the MCG is informative and delivered by passionate guides. You go behind the scenes to areas not generally available to the public. Be prepared for a.bit.of walking, about 3km, involving stairs, elevators and lifts. The Australian sports museum is packed with displays from all sports and well worth the time.
A must do when in Melbourne to visit this iconic site. Very interesting & informative time spent at the MCG
I really enjoyed the tour with carol our guide, she was very informative Was very interesting to learn about how the MCG is used for so many different things
The MCG tour was just fantastic!! We loved it. The meeting point was confusing as we were instructed to meet at a street address which was on the other side of the building. You need to meet at Gate 3 where all the tours leave from. However, once we found the right place we had the best time. Our tour guide, John, was knowledgeable and passionate about the MCG and kept us amused with stories and interesting facts! The museum was also incredible - the highlight was listening to a hologram of Shane Warne tell stories of his career.
This tour was well worth doing, The tour guide was passionate and informative 👍 we were really glad we did it .
This was great, very cool to see all the things about the MCG in person. Berrie was the BEST tour guide, with so much knowledge and a few good stories along the way. Highly recommend.
Interesting and engaging, plenty to look at. The museum was engaging as well as interesting. Must do for a sports nut.
Make sure that you allow plenty of time because there is soooo much to see and do. Avoid going close to lunch times, because there is a cafe, but the tour doesn't stop for you to snack. younger children tend to get a little bored with the tour section of the experience. Guides are real MCC members with a great knowledge and passion for their role.
For a cost of $50 per person. It was excessive international experiences that are far more impressive cost is much more comparable. Yes the MCG is impressive but $100 for a couple and what was offered was pretty ordinary. I think you could do far far better and no, we would not recommend it.
The guide was very dry and not engaging. Didn’t take into consideration our accessibility needs. Ended up missing what we did see of the tour as we weren’t able to access areas. Over priced for what is on offer.
2 of the 3 of us had been 20+ years ago but still well worth the time to explore the whole experience: MCG, Aus Sports Museum, Warnie. Didn’t know about some of the interactive parts of the tour before undertaking but they were great fun.
The MCG Tour and museum was fantastic.
my grandsons said it was the best part of our trip to Melbourne, loved it, the tour guide was very knowledgeable on the MCG and made the tour more enjoyable, would definitely go again
Time limited so keep up and take photos when guide explaining to get the best experience at each site
Excellent tour.tour.very informative, tour guide was very good with a good knowledge of the stadium.
We arrived on time but your Google directions took us to different gate which was quite far. When we got there, no one was available. We returned back to main entrance and they said your slot of entry group departed. We were extremely tired from lot of waking around the stadium for correct gate and we put all efforts to convince them to add us in the next group. Finally, They put us in one group where two slots were open. It was lot of walking to find the correct entrance and wasted so much time even though we had confirmed tickets on us. Kindly, refund us all the money for this inconvenience, I am your regular customer for a long time and this is what not we expected from your service. Thank you. Harin Chokshi
Definitely do the mcg tour and the sports museum, had the nostalgic goosebumps all over again since I last stepped on the mcg grond back in 2011
The stadium and museum tour was fantastic. Ben was a gentlemen of a guide and life member. Loved it. Thanks
Loved the MCG tour. Ben was an amazing guide. Loved the Shane Warne exhibition- the staff were accommodating to our family. The kids loved the activity area.
Our tour by Volunteer guide Malcolm was a real treat. He is an absolute gentleman with amazing knowledge. If you can you must go to the Shane Warn exhibit. You feel he is talking to you in real life, right in front of you.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, we learnt a lot about cricket and football history. We really enjoyed the experience
Great tour guide very informative. Took my nephew and my son. Lots of highlights seeing the fields, the commentary box, members area, change rooms , media area etc. Worth the money, lots of history. Great for the avid cricketer and footy fan Museum was very interesting. Shane Warne exhibition was beautiful. Loved this. Kids loved the interaction ball games in museum. Ate at the Paddock, nice food. Several MCG shops on premises
Loved it people very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable great experience would do it again highly recommend
The MCG tour is fabulous. It is a must do while in Melbourne. The MCC guides pass endless knowledge and fun facts about this great stadium. You really do go behind the scenes!
Was ok bit u don’t get enough time for family photos etc cuz they push too many groups through not big enough gaps between groups so u can ask questions It’s not for young family with little kids
That is well worth it. Very informative and engaging. All the staff and volunteers were very friendly. Highly recommend 😋
My wife and myself enjoyed the whole experience. The volunteers were excellent and a credit to the organisation. They all added to the tour particularly the lady (Rose) at the welcome desk. Our guide David was also very informative we enjoyed the whole day. We also viewed the Shane Warn exhibition. (Excellent)
Well organised and very informative. Definitely worth the effort. The MCG is an amazing, world class facility.
The MCG is great of course. But if you want a tour about the MCG I’d highly recommend to not have a man named Phill as all he did was talk about himself, his family and ALL of his achievements , oh and biggest name dropper ever!! and not the MCG.
We absolutely loved our MCG tour and Sports Museum experience. Our guide Carol was lovely and very knowledgeable. The Shane Warne exhibition was an emotional experience. Highly recommended for sports fans and tourists who want to learn about a huge part of Australian culture. We loved that we got to go behind-the-scenes and see parts of the MCG we normally wouldn't have access to. Would definitely do it again!
Nothing more needed. Bryan our guide was very relatable and pleasant. Oh the service in the food shop was abysmal. The person who served us had no idea what she was doing. Not even able to get the pie from the display cabinet without checking with two others. Took forever making us late
Great guides, impressive venue, the history of the MCG is amazing (for Australia). Very good value for money.
A must do for a sporting enthusiast if visiting Melbourne. AFL history influenced. A bit of cricket history.
