We really enjoyed getting a great tour of Melbourne while learning all about the many sports venues here. By driving, we were able to see places like the Formula 1 race route, the horse racing area, along with the other venues. Seeing the Rod Laver Arena and the Cricket Grounds were especially good. Our guide Tamara was stellar and she made sure we saw everything sports related along with stories about Melbourne. Definitely recommend.

It is a flexible tour, so you choose the main venues that you want to see. The tour includes lunch and is limited to a small number of people on each tour.
As I work in the racing industry, my work colleagues were very jealous that I got a tour of Flemington racecourse. Driving round the Formula 1 GP track and visiting the MCG made my day. The only drawback was that the main courts at the Rod Laver arena were closed off due to the fact that the Australian Open had just finished the previous weekend.
As a Melburnian, the tour was very enjoyable to find out what Melbourne has to offer, as well as other sporting facilities along the route. Tamara was very pleasant, easy to talk with, and informative. The tour is a 'must do' for any sport enthusiast especially the MCG. I also played tennis in a show court to experience the moment. Had a very good day and also enjoyed the lunch! Chris M
My husband and I took this trip as we both enjoy one or two of the sports covered, we really enjoyed the whole day! We were a part of a group of 7 so a small bunch of like minded people although from different parts of the globe. Our tour guide Tamara was just fantastic she was very knowledgeable about all the venues we visited and the sports that took part there also about the local areas. We joined others for guided tours at the MCG and Rod Laver arena both were informative of the history of the venues etc . My personal favourite was the drive around Albert Park, being a F1 fan it made my trip special, especially as they were in process of setting up for the race! Loved it highly recommended it. Thank you Tamara.
Very informative and thorough. Tour of Flemington race course and Melbourne cricket Ground excellent. Also drove round Albert Park F1track. Tamara tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Really enjoyable.
I’m a total sports nut. I knew I wanted to do this tour in Melbourne. Despite knowing nothing about Australian rules football and cricket (I do love F1 though), I had super high hopes for this tour and it delivered. Anthony was an outstanding guide and answered all of my dumb questions. The tour of the MCG and the museum was fantastic. Melbourne is definitely a passionate sports city!
Apparently the AFL finals were going on the week I had booked. Normally, I'm ok with tour cancellation within reasonable notice... the issue was that I didn't receive this notice until less than 48 hours of when this tour was supposed to happen. I find it highly suspect that they didn't know the AFL games were going on until that a couple days before the event. Not being local it's unlikely a tourist to know such an event would be going on.
My wife and I booked this trip as we are both mad on sport. The trip was really informative and we enjoyed every aspect of the trip. We were the only people booked onto the trip, despite this they still ran the trip which we were delighted about. The tour guide was very easy going and knew all aspects of the trip. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to help us. It was extremely well organised and can’t complain at all about it. If you like sport, do this excursion!
I'm not a big sports fan but I really enjoyed it. Flemington was definitely my favourite part. Our tour guide, Tamara, was great and showed us the course from the horses perspective which was really cool. The lunch was good you won't be hungry afterwards, they definitely fill your plate.
Went in sport lovers tour thought was a bit expensive paid $130 for visit to Flemington racecourse which would gave cost operator nothing as just walked on lawns and left Then went to McG tour which was good which operator would gave paid about $30 After mcg went for drive on Grand Prix track at Albert park would have cost operator nothing. Then went to lunch at docklands lunch was very good cafe extremely good meal if your choice, then was dropped in f at pick up point. Thought could have been more content put into tour only 3 visits 2 which cost nothing The tour guide Tamara was very informative and new the history of sport in Melbourne. Just thought could have been more content in tour
This trip was well run, Tamara was fantastic with her sporting knowledge, would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Melbourne.
Well organised and covered much but not hurried. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and convivial. The tour was extremely interesting and provided may insights not normally accessed.
Spent yesterday on a tour of Flemington Race Course and The National Sports Museum. The day was great and Tamara was a wonderful host. I am from Melbourne and we also drove into parts of Melbourne I had never been to which was great. Tamara was very knowledgeable and passionate about Melbourne and it’s sporting credentials which I share. Lunch in Docklands was very nice. Both the food and the views were excellent. Both my wife and I would highly recommend this and others tours as well.
Really enjoyed the Sports tour I went with a group of people from other trips but it was very enjoyable. Our guide was very good and knowledgeable, about the Horse racing track, The MCG and the Grand Prix circuit

Our tour took in Flemington Racecourse, the MCG and Albert Park racetrack. All 3 attractions were good with good information being provided by Tamara. The lunch provided at the conclusion was very good and appreciated

If you are true sports fan, then this tour is a must. Our tour started with a pickup from our hotels and heading straight to Flemington’s Racecourse. Tamara, our guide gave us some deep insights of how the city is deeply and emotionally connected with this game. She later gave us a short city tour explaining about all the local teams and their respective practice fields. Our next stop was MCG (the highlight of our trip). MCG was particularly lot of fun. We were given detailed tour of the ground, stands, changing rooms, practice grounds etc. It nearly took us 2-3 here. We were then taken to Formula 1 Grand Prix racetrack. This is not open to all and we were not allowed to sty there for more than 2 mins. However we can see the track from a distance without getting out from the vehicle. Tamara later took us to Etihad stadium from our lunch. The food was good with vegetarian options too. We had also booked museum at MCG for which we were taken back to MCG after having lunch. I would not recommend this museum to all as it wasted our time a lot in travelling back and forth to MCG. If possible do recommend Tamara to complete MCG with museum and then proceed for lunch. This was an amazing tour and it gave a deep insight of why the city is called the best sports city in the world.
We did the ultimate tour with Tamara, she was great and made the trip it was a wonderful experience👍 highlight of our Melbourne trip
Thanks to Tamara we had a fabulous day touring not only the plentiful sports sites across Melbourne but also seeing the city. Tamara was incredibly well informed and had knowledge far beyond expectations about not only the locations but also the marquee champions from years gone by. She is a top notch expert with a gracious demeanor. As American sport fanatics with limited understand of Aussie Rules, cricket, formula one and even horse racing, we were surprisingly engaged from the oldest of us (mid-forties) to our seven year old. Also, of note, our lunch was delicious which is not often the case when lunch is included in a tour.

Ok at best. Lunch was really good and the owner or driver was a nice guy. Having Rod Laver Stadium being taking off the list at the last minute due to construction was disappointing. Cricket stadium was ok at best, I am American and expected more-lol, sorry. Everything else was kind of ho hum, not bad, not that great though!

A must for all sports fans visiting down under. The tour highlights many different sports and stadiums and includes lunch and the sports museum.

We are so glad we picked this tour. Incredibly informative and interesting facts communicated whilst moving at a good pace. Good value for money and thoroughly recommended, especially if one has been to Melbourne before.

A great experience for the true sports lover. A behind the scenes look at Flemington and the Formula 1 Circuit culminating with a full guided tour of the ins and outs of the MCG. Very enjoyable with an informative, knowledgeable and humorous guide. Well worth it for an up close view of the venues so familiar on our television screens. Optional afternoon visit to the Sports Museum and Rod Laver and Margaret Court Arenas

Great tour for any sports minded person. Our guide was great , and good for tips on Melbourne in general.
A must while in Melbourne

If you are into your sport you must go on this Framlington racecourse was lovely with tour guide giving many interesting facts,MCG is one of the great stadium in the world,a must is the sports museum,Albert Park for F1 fans is a little bit of a disappointment as there are no permanent stands they build the racetrack over 11 weeks however you do get driven around the track.

Brilliant trip if you are interested in any sport you must take this trip when in Melbourne

so much to see and hear about that it could be longer - very enjoyable experience and a must for sport's fans

Great experience. Very sophisticated tour guide. Most recommendable.

Superb trip for any sport lover, although you also get an excellent commentary on Melbourne itself as you travel between venues. Anthony the guide is absolutely brilliant, my wife and I really enjoyed his informative and humorous commentary. The tour guide at the MCG was very good too. The morning finishes off with lunch at the Etihad Stadium in the Docklands, you get loads and it's lovely so don't have too much breakfast! Excellent value for money this trip, just book it, you won't regret it.

Amazing amazing amazing!
Highlight of Australia leg of travels. Great if you love sport or just interested in the history of it. Lots of different sports and the museum is really cool too - especially the interactive bit. Highlight was Rod Laver stadium! Great lunch too.

Tour guide was excellent,he has a vast knowledge of sports so we have enjoyed a lot in this tour , food was also very good ,it was not only a sports tour, rather a combination of sports tour plus city tour

The tour guide Anthony was very punctual and a real good bloke. The tour was great and anthony's commentary was always informative and humorous. His knowledge of melbourne and sporting history was amazing. We would definitely recommend this tour to other travellers. This is reflected in our 5 star rating, couldn't fault a thing.

Had a great time -tour guide was good and the guides at the MCG and Rod Laver were also very informative
Would recommend this to anyone who likes sports - Flemmington Race Course is also a great visit

Awesome trip, very informative. Tour guide had great sense of humour.

Perfect name for the tour. Our sports lovers package included trips to Flemington horse race track, the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Rod Laver tennis arena, and admission to the sports museum at the MCG.

It's a jam-packed day of fun facts and sports! Our tour guide Anthony was informative, funny, and pleasant. We spent about an hour at each stop, which was a reasonable amount of time.

My only critique is that we hit up lunch on the later side, about 1pm, which I wasn't expecting. The meal options at Etihad stadium are plentiful though. You won't leave hungry!

We also appreciated that hotel pick up and drop off was available. Perfect for tourists like us!

This tour has been a great experience! We enjoyed playing tennis on show court 3 of Rod Laver Arena and won't forget this moments ever. Simon was a really nice tour guide with remarkable knowledge.

Excellent Tour. Our Tour guide Anthony Excellent very knowledgable. The tour guides at each venue were excellent very informative. Would recommend this tour to anyone. Had a great time. Thank You Anthony

Excellent tour. 5* and more! Would go on this again if I could. Excellent guide and a small group of people (8) was just the right amount. Definitely recommend.

The tour was excellent. Anthony was our guide, he was awesome, very knowledgeable. The tour around the city between sporting venues was much more than we expected and was very informative for tourists. The tour guide at the mcg was great he was so informative and knew everything you could have asked. The guide at rod laver was lovely she knew so much about the players. It was great tour, you have great access to places and able to take lots of pics. Would recommend to anyone but especially if you have a interest in sports. We really enjoyed our day thanks to Anthony. Thanks again.

Great tour. Anthony was great with excellent knowledge on many sports. The only disappointment I had was that you could not enter Etihad. Otherwise every site we visited was first class. The MCG tour was a highlight.

The tour guide was a top bloke. Really fantastic tour and he had a passion for sport. He's a very knowledgable person. Highly recommended. A great day out. Cheers, David.

We loved this Tour
Our driver was certainly knowledgeable and easy to listen to. We enjoyed the whole tour immensely and appreciated the attention to detail
Our many thanks, Jenny Warner

Unfortunately we were not able to gain access to Flemington Park due to dismantling of equipment from the previous weeks race meeting, did not stop at the F1 track but the MCG was a great experience, hence the 2 stars. Too much time spent in the mini bus although our guide was friendly. Not the Sports Lovers tour we were expecting and not good value.

very well organised trip spoilt a bit by a poor lunch.

We loved this tour. We had a small group of people with an excellent tour guide. The tour guide was extremely informative. We chose the National Sports Museum as our after lunch tour. It was absolutely wonderful. The lunch at Etihad Stadium was great and we got to talk to the other guests. I highly recommend this tour to sports lovers.

Great sport tour... it was everything and more than we expected. Our tour guide made such a difference in our enjoyment of it all. His knowledge and the way he even 'went out of his way' to make sure we received as much as we could, within the time limit we had for that day. Exceptional and we thank him for making this experience such a enjoyable one. Cheers Ross and Tina

Brilliant. Guide (simon) was fantastic. Cannot speak higher of the whole day, totally worth it.
