We had the best time with our tour guide Tonya. The weather was beautiful, Tonya walked us through the city with lots of enthusiasm and great stories and history of Melb. We tried chocolates, cookies and finished with a surprise dessert (no spoilers here) but it’s worth it! I booked this tour for my working group who come from all states of Australia. I was the only melbournian on our exclusive tour. I was surprised by the places we saw that I hadn’t been before. It was a fantastic afternoon. I would highly recommend for anyone to enjoy.

Group did not meet at the location they said to meet at. The only good chocolate was the first stop. The guide Brianna was great. City views were nice
Group did not pick up at the corner they gave instructions for. Luckily my phone worked so I could be contacted. Brianna the guide was great. The first place had the best chocolate. Everything else was nothing to write home about. Seen some cool sections of the city
Had a wonderful day, experienced some lovely chocolate and tried chocolate in ways you would think couldn’t work but did. Our guide Brianna was lovely and knowledgable, teaching us things about our own city that we didn’t know. Highly recommended.
Our guide, Ivan, was wonderfully engaging and full of fun Melbourne facts, that even us locals weren't aware of. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and discovered some hidden Melbourne gems.
So very happy to give this Chocoholic walking tour 5 stars. Our guide Lauren is a fellow chocoholic and was clear to me that guided chocolate tours aren’t just a “job” to her. She is knowledgeable about the history of Melbourne, knows her way around well and is passionate about passing on her knowledge. She naturally spent amounts of time with each person on the tour, while guiding our group of 6. We went to stores I never would have found otherwise - Clementines was probably my stand out (all locally sourced merchandise owned by Melanie). We went to 4 stores total winding our way from the start point and finishing in Guildford Lane. Highly highly recommend this tour!
The tour was great. Fun walking through Melbourne’s lanes and arcades sampling chocolates. Brianna, our guide from Melbourne, did an excellent job guiding us.
We had a wonderful time with Ivan our guide. As we were the only ones booked on the day it was a private tour. Learnt lots of things, ate lots of chocolate and did lots of walking. Do yourself a favour and do one of their tours. You won't be disappointed
A must do. We all know chocolate yummy wait until you give this tour a go. Some of these chocolates will blow you off next level like premium expensive quality chocolate. Booked last minute day before. Shoutout to Ivan. Highly recommend.
Great fun and great afternoon of indulging in couverture chocolate! Who knew Melbourne had so many amazing chocolate shops in our fabulous arcades? Many thanks to our guide Lauren.
The tour was far more than just a chocolate tour: it included history, architecture, laneways, fun facts, and then lots of chocolate. At first I thought the samples were a bit on the small side but after a while I was pleased! We went to various purveyors and there were some terrific treats as well. Brianna was an excellent guide. Strong recommendation!
Had the best tour with Tonya. Lots of gluten free options and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. A perfect amount of walking through historical buildings and yummy chocolate treats. Recomend even as someone who lives in melbs!!
We really enjoyed our guide Tonya! She was so knowledgeable about the history of Melbourne and of chocolate. The businesses we visited were unique. The chocolate was extraordinary. I definitely recommend!
Lauren was a fantastic tour guide; not only did she introduce us to some of Melbourne’s best chocolatiers, but she also provided interesting facts from one location to the next. We sampled several mouth-watering chocolate desserts and, in the process, viewed areas we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. What a wonderful and unique experience! Would highly recommend this tour!
We had a lovely tour of 5 chocolate venues in Melbourne with Tonya. It was a special day as it was mums birthday. Not only did we devour chocolate at the locations but had a tour of some iconic Melbourne arcades. I was very impressed with Tonya's knowledge. I highly recommend this tour.
The Chocoholic Tour was a fantastic afternoon out. As a former Melbournian I have spent a lot of time in the City and yet our guide Brianna ( who was absolutely wonderful) showed us laneways and sights I've never seen before. The tastings were delicious, and as a gluten free person, I was well looked after! A special shout out to Clementine's (if you want a gift or souvenir that's actually made locally, this is the place to go) and for the best hot chocolate I've ever tasted, try Coal River Farm (next time I'm signing up for their High Cheese!)
Tonya was a great guide. It went beyond a chocolate tour and was also a city tour. Tonya was very enthusiastic . Last chocolate stop a little unusual, chocolate dumplings and spring rolls.
We had a lovely day at our walking tour . Our guide Brianna was very enthusiastic and informative. She had a great knowledge of the city and took us to some quaint chocolate shops
Great tour through iconic buildings and sighting of the Myer Christmas windows, all while moving between chocolate shops.
There were 2 addresses for the tour. It wasn’t clear where to meet. And my email replies were unanswered. We ended up going to the wrong address and were unable to join the tour at the right address. No refund!!!
Our guide(Tonya) was vibrant, welcoming and enthusiastic. It was a fun couple of hours seeing some different little historical pieces as well as the fun of chocolate tasting.
Had a great time/ experience on the chocolate walking tour. Our guide Ivan was super friendly and really knowledgeable not only about chocolate but also about landmarks and other facts around Melbourne CBD. All the stops were delicious and the staff were super friendly and accomodating. Would highly recommend, was definitely worth the time and money. Also had the opportunity to pick up a few delicious goodies along the way at a discounted price. Thanks a lot.
We had a great time on this tour and Ivan the tour guide was brilliant. Not only a wealth of knowledge re chocolate but very entertaining and funny. He guided us through several delightful chocolate, cookie and dessert tastings in Melbourne's laneways and arcades. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy the goodies being offered and was really entertaining and friendly. Additionally, he had a great historical knowledge of the city. We could not have enjoyed it more. Thanks, Ivan, for a lovely chocolatey time.
We had the best time with Ivan, our guide today. Ivan guided us through several delightful chocolate, cookie and dessert tastings in Melbourne's gorgeous laneways and arcades. He was knowledgeable, gave us plenty of time to enjoy the goodies being offered and was really entertaining and friendly. Couldn't have enjoyed it more. Thanks, Ivan, for a lovely chocolatey time.
We had an amazing chocolate tour with our guide Tonya. She was fun, vibrant and knowledgeable about the area. We loved the tastings and learning more about the fabulous place’s Melbourne has to offer! The stores we visited were warm and welcoming! The tour was easy to organise and ran smoothly! Highly recommend!
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Ivan was knowledgeable and humorous, generous tastings and interesting lane ways, that as a non local would not have seen.
The trip was very enjoyable and we went to places and laneways we would not normally have gone to. The guide was very informative.
We had a great afternoon walking around the city with our host Briana! She had great knowledge of all things Melbourne and Chocolate. She also kept the tour fun and engaging. As Melbourne residents it was nice to have a tour of our own city. Would highly recommend.
A great tour! Amanda was very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of different types of chocolate experiences and a good inside look at the historic arcades of Melbourne. Note: The tour starts at one on the arcade entrances, which are not always easy to spot if you have never been in Melbourne. This tour is definitely recommended!!
What a fun experience. Ivan, was absolutely fabulous. He gave us a lot of information about the famous spots in town for great chocolates and coffee and other information about the city too. The chocolate stores and cafés were abolsutely spot on.
Time flew by, senses worked overtime taking in all the sights, sounds, tastes & smells. Much more than just a tour about chocolate. Thank you to our very knowledgeable tour guide Ivan
Ivan was fantastic! He taught us all about chocolate and some great history of melbourne. Highly recommend, especially if you can have Ivan as your guide.
Had a fabulous team building walking tour. Ivan was an amazing well informed guide. Lots of hidden treasures, chocolate treats and Melbourne history. Do the tour, enjoy the walk and treats.
Had a brilliant time wondering around the city with Ivan sampling lots of chocolates. Places we stopped at were all great and Ivan certainly knew his chocolate. Kids (10 and 12) loved it too. Thank you for the lovely afternoon.
Great way to see the back streets of Melbourne. Jake was a very good guide, loved the different samples to try.
A wonderful walking tour with Ivan our host. Delicious stops with even better chocolate. Loved this tour.
Great walking tour with Ivan , who was interesting, fun and thoughtful. We visited a few select chocolate makers and tasted their delicious wares. Very enjoyable !
Jake took us through an interesting chocolate walking tour through the streets of Melbourne along various arcades , we got to taste some amazing chocolates made from local ingredients , we also got to taste the Korean bingsu to end the tour, highly recommend to all that are looking for a different kind of experience
We booked this tour with our two boys during school holiday. We absolutely enjoyed it and Jack our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the most amazing chocolate hidden gems in Melbourne. Jack was friendly and developed rapport with both our boys.
Wonderful tour tasting variety of chocolates while learning about Melbourne. Guide Evan was very knowledgeable and polite.
A great tour with Ivan. Not the expected tour of standard chocolate stores but an innovative one incorporating chocolate with spices, cheese pairings, chocolate dim sum and sumptuous hot chocolates. Ivan was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable and entertaining. Recommended for chocoholics and non chocoholics alike.
We did this as a private tour for our daughters 13th birthday - 15 tween girls came along. We were a bit worried how it would be received but everyone absolutely loved it! Ivan was an amazing host (who was also a little nervous at the 15 tweens!) but he was an absolute gem who made the experience super interesting for all attending and very special for our daughter. We definitely had plenty of chocolate and got to really explore some stores we hadn't ever discovered before. Highly recommend!
Our guide Jake led us on a delightful journey through chocolate heaven in Melbourne. We were treated to unique and wonderful chocolate dishes with a detailed explanation of its history and the diversity. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Pair a walk through arcades and alleys with tasting chocolate in unexpected places and you have this tour. There is chocolate from a spice shop, smoked hot chocolate down a tiny alley, chocolate bao from a Michelin star restaurant in a mall, to a chocolate and cheese pairing, and so much more. You won't be disappointed.
The tour was a birthday present to us and was great. Our guide was Jake and he was friendly and provided great information as well as good tastings. I have lived in Melbourne all my life but learned a lot not only about chocolate but Melbourne as well. The tastings were really good and varied and the highlight was definitely Degraves Espresso and the Spanish Torrijas. Thanks Jake for a wonderful couple of hours.
This was the most delicious walking tour I have experienced. Plenty of samples of quality chocolate with Jake, our guide, explaining the architecture of beautiful arcades and brief history. Even though we are ‘locals’, we went down a few lane ways we didn’t even know existed. A delicious way to explore Melbourne.
Meg was lovely. Friendly, fun and added some flavour to an already flavourful tour! Nicely paced, good variety and some history along the way.
We had an absolutely wonderful time! Meg was a very friendly & informative guide. We enjoyed all of our tastings & went home with a bag & belly full of chocolate!
Meg our guide was very knowledgeable on Melbourne and chocolates. The stops were great and chocolate was yjummy
This was a great tour! Meg was our guide. Not only did she share a little local knowledge she also shared chocolate knowledge with it. We got to taste a variety of different chocolates (maybe a little different than we would normally try. The last dessert was a complete surprise, unusual but delicious. Don't get a hot chocolate as I did. I'm so full! Be sure to take this tour!
