We booked a Spanish-language tour for 23 October. The pick-up was on time, but our disappointment began as soon as the tour started. We discovered that the driver/guide only spoke English and told us to access the information in Spanish through a QR code. However, this audio QR option was not accessible to all Spanish-speaking passengers. The driver only informed us about this option after we had raised a complaint. Throughout the journey, the driver also failed to provide clear instructions about where to go or which paths to follow, both during the koala-watching stop and at the Twelve Apostles. At the Twelve Apostles, the time allocated to enjoy the attraction was very limited. Furthermore, when it started raining and it became clear that we would not be able to enjoy the sunset from that location, the driver offered no alternative to help us make the most of the experience. The situation became even worse when he took us to the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre. Apparently, he was upset by criticism from other tour participants. He dropped us off at the entrance to the toilet block and simply told us he would come back to collect us in two hours, without explaining where the Visitor Centre was, what we could do during that time, or how to access the different viewing points. When we got back into the van, we found out from other tourists that there was a walking track that allowed visitors to admire the Twelve Apostles from the beach. Unfortunately, by then it was too late, and we had missed that opportunity due to the lack of information and guidance. We felt neglected and disappointed by both the driver and the service provided, which was not what had been advertised when we made our booking. His attitude was that of someone simply following a timetable and transporting passengers from one place to another, with no interest in ensuring that we could enjoy the attractions and make the most of our time there. We booked a Spanish-language tour and expected more than just transportation. We expected guidance, information and assistance throughout the visits. Unfortunately, none of this was provided. We wasted our time and money and missed the opportunity to fully appreciate the beauty of the Twelve Apostles. It was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience, and we would not recommend this tour.
Excellent full day tour of the great ocean road on a comfortable bus in a small group. We were lucky to have Lucy as our tour guide who was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommended and well worth the money spent.
This was an absolutely stunning, informative, and downright fun trip. Lucy was such an incredible guide, and I felt so glad to have spent time learning from her and seeing the amazing sights and nature and animals along the way! Cannot recommend this company and this tour more highly. Felt perfectly comfortable as a solo traveler too, which is always something I appreciate and look for.
The experience for me was very very brilliant. The admission fee was worth it paying to see the sunset. The length of the visit was for 12HRS. The atmosphere was verryyyy chilly. The crowd size was exactly 14 but we expected many mor people to join. The staff was very kind and generous . It is best for looking at the SUNSET in the evening.. LUCY♥️♥️

The Great Ocean Road was my favorite tour we did in all of Melbourne. The views are breathtaking and we loved it all. David N was an especially good guide and made our trip so pleasant. The knowledge he shared with us served to enhance the experience we had. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone coming to Melbourne. It is a must do.
The 12 Apostles was a must see for me and was worth every penny. My guide, Rhys, has great.commentary and made the love drive fun and enjoyable. Sunset at the Apostles was spectacular. It was a bit cloudy which added color to the sunset along with sea mist rolling in. This was the perfect way to end the day and my time in Australia
My trip to Sydney and Melbourne, had a few excursions like this booked as well. This was definitely my highlight out of the bunch. It’s a must do whether done via a tour or independently. Although this tour and Ben in particular did a smashing job! Also provided muffins with tea/coffee which was very welcomed

Even though this is a pretty long your the day flew by. The beach towns were picturesque, the rain forest was beautiful, and the 12 Apostles were a fitting end to it sightseeing. Lucy did a great job. She's enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and hit a nice balance between talking and silence. Others reviews mentioned the winding road. The rainforest section was not exceptionally twisty -- I found it similar to most mountain roads. I would definitely do this trip again.

Had an amazing trip with Jaimes! He was so funny and kept us entertained the entire day. I really appreciated him taking photos for solo travelers and couples in the group — such a thoughtful touch. He even spotted a koala in a tree for us to see, and we caught glimpses of wallabies and kangaroos along the roadside too. It was a long day, but so much fun and absolutely worth it! Some people are criticizing time spent but I think it was perfect amount of time to do everything and get home at a decent time.
We spent a full day exploring the Great Ocean Road with Jools! We had with a perfectly timed arrival at the 12 Apostles coastline at sunset! We saw kangaroos and koalas in their natural environments along with breathtaking scenery everywhere. We hiked in the rain forest along the way…it was an absolutely amazing day from start to finish thanks to our super knowledgeable and super fun guide (and friend by the end of the day) Jools and her sidekick Gumnut. Morning tea and snacks were yummy too! Thank you so much Jools for contributing to our ‘trip of a lifetime’ to Australia! We will never forget you!

Very enjoyable Great Ocean Road sunset tour with Go West. The later start was a real advantage. Peter, our driver-guide, was excellent—engaging, informative and very customer-focused. He also spotted koalas for us in their natural habitat. Despite cloudy weather and no real sunset, it was still a very fulfilling day. Pickup communication could have been clearer, and the minivan ride was bumpy. Keep in mind with sunset, built into the tour, return is late, we came back at around 9:45 PM .

This tour was definitely a highlight of my Australia 3-city trip from the US. I was a bit hesitant about committing a full day but we saw so many amazing sights along the coast and even spotted some koalas and kangaroos in the wild. Budgie was an awesome tour guide and was quick to offer to take photos and even showed me how to take better pictures using the features of my phone that I didn’t know about. He was knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this tour.
The tour was excellent and more so because of our guide and driver, Robbo. He knew the lookouts for Koalas, and best sights on the Ocean drive and 12 Apostles. He had a great knowledge of the history of the land, sights, animals and vegetation and shared all that with a lovely dose of humor. Besides all this, Robbo has a great music list. Overall a perfect trip.
We had such a great time on the Great Ocean Road tour with Robbo! He was super friendly, funny, and genuinely made the long day so enjoyable. He shared so much interesting information along the way without ever making it feel like we were sitting through a history lesson. You can tell he really knows the area and enjoys what he does. The entire day was really well organized and we never felt rushed at any of the stops. Robbo also gave us great tips on where to go for the best views and photos, which was definitely appreciated! Seeing the Twelve Apostles at sunset was such a beautiful way to end the day.
I booked this tour literally almost last minute. Jaimes was an excellent guide and safe driver especially through the rain. Jaimes went above and beyond to make sure our group got every bit of our money's worth on this tour. The breath-taking views were unforgettable. Far and above one of the most gorgeous sunsets I've had the pleasure of witnessing. God bless you Jaimes! You rule dude!!👊

Pickup was easy, a short walk. We found this an easy way to take a road trip without hiring a car. Beware thougth, I reckon 90% of this is sitting on the coach - regretted not taking earphones. The coach was comfortable with plenty of stops for coffee, toilet and something to eat along the way. It wasnt the best day for weather but fine. Jai our driver and guide was excellent making a point to try and remember everyones name (and there was 10 of us!) he was informative, jovial and above all cared what we all have a great day. As the last on the coach he actually dropped us at our apartment. Worth if if you want to see the Great Ocean Road and surrounding country but be prepared for a long drive - around 300km.

An absolute 10 out of 10 experience. The tour was perfectly organized and incredibly smooth from start to finish. We lucked out with beautiful, partly clear skies, which made the views along the coast even more stunning. Seeing the Twelve Apostles under that gorgeous afternoon light was a true highlight, and descending into Loch Ard Gorge was absolutely breathtaking.Our guide, Jaimes, was incredibly kind and attentive. He even spoke Spanish with us individually to practice, which made us feel exceptionally welcome. It is a long journey, so you definitely need to be prepared for the length of the road trip to avoid any surprises, but it is completely worth it. I also highly appreciated that the itinerary gave us the freedom to choose our lunch and dinner stops from a great variety of local restaurants or supermarkets—very convenient and well thought out. We even managed to spot a wild koala up in the trees! Highly recommended!
We had the best time in the Great Ocean Road with our warmest guide, Jai, who’s the friendliest, kindest and the most hospitable. As someone new to Melbourne as a student, Jai made me a list of his favorite restaurants in Melbourne so that I could give them a try. We also learned so many anecdotes and knowledge along the way which made the day trip even enjoyable. Much recommended!
We travelled as a group of 6 people. Our Driver/Guide Mr. Robbo was very knowledgable guy. It was a wonderful tour with great views and stops to capture natural beauty. Only drawback was that it was expensive if you compare it with other available similar tours.

We got an in depth tour of the Great Ocean Road and both agreed of all the tours we have been on it was the best by a mile. We were genuinely sad when it was over! Alisha was so awesome! She has great energy and made it a super engaging trip. We got lucky and got a beautiful sunset which was great. Need to do this if you want to see Great Ocean Road and happy we chose to do it at sunset. We only had 10 people in our tour which was really nice. Ended up being a ~12 hour journey. Saw a Koala on the trip as well! Bus WiFi was air conditioned and had functioning WiFi.

This was a superior tour! Our guide Jai was one of the best guides I’ve had anywhere in the world. He was friendly, informative and upbeat. It was a long day but a great one, with all kinds of stops enroute to the 12 Apostles. We not only saw gorgeous scenery on the Great Ocean Road, we also experienced a rainforest and both koalas and kangaroos in the wild. Strongly recommend Go West Tours. Really top notch.
It’s a long day on the road, but our tour guide, Bluey, made it fun & interesting. We were picked up a little after 9am and returned back to our hotel a little after 9pm. In the summer, the tour is longer. We made many stops along the way to take photos, eat, and for bathroom breaks. The 12 apostles was absolutely beautiful at sunset even though it was a bit cloudy & rainy. Our guide, Bluey, was a good driver and had lots of stories and information for us along the way & was happy to answer any questions we had. Thanks Bluey for a great day!
