My family and I took the tour with Steve and could not have had a better experience! Steve was welcoming and full of energy from the get go, and made sure that everyone was comfortable and having a good time. We were able to take our time at each stop, didn’t feel rushed, and he went out of his way to help us with directions, pointing out the best routes to take at each stop. On top of all of this, he kept his eyes peeled for kangaroos and koalas so we were able to stop, hop off the bus and witness them in the wild. To top it all off, Steve was incredibly knowledgeable about the route, full of fun facts, and had a fantastic playlist the whole day. If you get the chance to take this trip, absolutely would recommend taking this tour with Steve!

We had a great experience on the Twelve Apostles tour! Our tour guide, Noel was fantastic! Very entertaining, and definitely made the day memorable. This is a really great way to see a lot of the Great Ocean Road and surrounding sights in one day without having to worry about driving or planning everything yourself.
Fantastic tour! We had incredible luck to see wild koalas up close, and Noel was definitely one of the best tour guides I’ve had- really warm and welcoming and very passionate about the environment and wildlife! Would highly recommend this tour :)
It’s a full day but goes really quickly. You want a comfortable seat - which this tour operator provides - and a great driver / guide which Steve was. Very pleased with the day. Brilliant experience. We’d recommend the fish and seafood in George’s for lunch. A real highlight trip which we’re delighted with. Thanks for a great day Steve.
A brilliant trip that went by really quickly. Led by a great guide / driver - a typical Aussie called Steve who was a really safe driver and interesting and knowledgeable guide.
Steve is very experienced tour guide and driver with full knowledge of places we visited He got sense of humour with own real experience and background of the places He always got good reviews and I also like to add myself to the 100% reviews and big thank you from three of us on the tour on Friday 6 Nov 2026
Happy experience with knowledgeable and cheerful guide Steve. Beautiful scenery at the 12 Apostles and razorblade. Pity we don't have much blue sky today. Surprises along the way with wild kangaroos and koalas. The scallop pie and ice cream in Apollo bay are so impressive.
Excellent tour, exceeded expectations. The twelve apostles is breathtaking, but the tour includes a lot more such as going into a forest, seeing Koalas & Kangaroos in the wild. Our tour guide Steve was awesome. He clearly has passion for the Great Ocean Road & shares good stories and keeps it entertaining.
We had a wonderful trip with Steve - he was so knowledgable and made sure we didn’t miss a thing! We saw koalas and kangaroos as well as all the viewpoints, it was a truly special day made so by Steve’s attention to detail. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Steve was absolutely wonderful and passionate about what he does. He conducts his tours with wit and does not rush anyone. The reverse tour brought us to the Twelve Apostles first without the crowd which was much appreciated. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to explore the Great Ocean Road.
Excellent tour! Steve is the best bus driver/tour guide I have encountered and went above and beyond for sure!
Right from the start Steve our driver and guide was "on it" commentary was was informative and fun and given when needed! Advice around eateries was great too. We saw the main sights, while Steve threw in the extra "Koalas in the wild" experience...what an asset to the tour company!
Omg! The bestttt tour ive ever been on. The value for money is insane, and our guide was sooo cool. We were laughing every 10mins from his “dad jokes”. Best for couples, solo, everyonee! I traveled solo and I didn’t felt alone or boring at any point in the tour. Best part of the tour was not the great ocean road but the guide himself (he needs a raise) I don’t remember his name but i called him “Mama” thats uncle in Hindi. I don't think i will ever get over this trip just because of this tour. I highly recommend this tour to everyone but especially old couples, people had a lot of old fellas on board and all were full of energy and veryy cool. Compared to other buses i saw on the tour our bus was small and looked like a big van which i liked and our group was the smallest which is good i think cause you talk to everyone on the bus. The guide recommended me a burger place and trust me that was the best burger ive ever eaten. My trip from India to melb was def worth it because of this.
All good. The driver Steve is punctual, hilarious, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour
Great experience. Steve our tour guide was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. Went out of his way to show us the better of the sites and of course koalas in the wild.
We had a fantastic experience exploring the Great Ocean Road with Tours Around Melbourne! The tour included some incredible stops, including the Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, Apollo Bay, a local park, and a chance to spot koalas in the wild. Our tour guide, Steve, was excellent! He was friendly, accommodating, and made sure everyone had plenty of time to explore and take photos without feeling rushed. He was even flexible enough to give us extra time at certain stops when needed, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a well-organized, enjoyable experience and a great way to see some of Victoria's most beautiful coastal scenery. Highly recommend Tours Around Melbourne and Steve!
It was really amazing experience. While I am traveling Melbourne, I experienced one of the best moment. Nice guide and comfortable bus.
Thanks for a great day out!!!!
Be prepared for an early pickup at 6:45a.m. and 2.5 hours on the bus to get to the Twelve Apostles, but by doing the reverse tour gets you there early before everyone else. About 45 minutes outside of Melbourne there is a stop for coffee, restroom at Maccas (McDonalds). After TTA, you move on to Lard Noch Gorge, Melba Gully rain forest, koala "hunting", The Great Ocean Road - lunch in Apollo Bay where the curried scallop pie was quite tasty followed by Dooley's ice cream and some souvenir shopping. Then, the road is a bit curvy and twisty so you may want your Dramamine or sea bands if you get motion sick. Quite dramatic scenery along the coast. We saw some kangaroos and white cockatoos at one of the brief stops. Then, on back to Melbourne with a 7pm arrival. Our guide Steve was a good natured bloke with just a little bit of non-pc cheekiness to make it interesting. He had a lot of good information without being too long winded. He made sure the guests were doing ok, provided water and had the bathroom breaks paced quite well.
Everything was well organized. We even got picked up at a hotel . Noel had everything under control, had good stories and the timemanagement was great. We’ve seen a lot of fantastic things! NOEL was besides a tourguide also a great photographer ;). We had such a great day!
The Great Ocean Road was the part of my Melbourne trip I was most looking forward to, and I was so glad to be able to join with Guide Bill!! The Great Ocean Road involves driving along winding mountain roads that follow the coastline, but thanks to 🙂Guide Bill🙂's driving skills, he drove smoothly, comfortably, and safely‼️ despite the twists and turns, so I had absolutely no stress about the long-distance journey! I could have passed out the moment I closed my eyes... haha.
Had an amazing day on the Great Ocean Road with Noel as our driver and guide! He's genuinely funny — the whole bus was laughing the entire way, and his commentary made the long drive fly by. You can tell he knows this route inside out: perfect timing at every stop, the best photo angles at the Twelve Apostles, and little local stories you'd never get on your own. The highlight for me: Noel spotted koalas in the trees that the rest of us would have driven straight past. Seeing them in the wild made my day. Relaxed pace, safe driving, great vibes from start to finish. Couldn't recommend Noel and this tour more highly!
We had an amazing trip to the Great Ocean Road! The breathtaking coastal views, the Twelve Apostles, and the beautiful scenery made the journey unforgettable. A special thanks to our guide Noel who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly & well-organized throughout the tour. Noel shared interesting stories about the region, ensured everyone was comfortable, and made the trip both enjoyable and informative. His enthusiasm and professionalism truly enhanced our experience. Highly recommend this tour and guide to anyone visiting Melbourne.
Steve is funny and knowledgeable tour guide. Incredible driving experience. Highly recommend this tour.
Great trip Steve was great very knowledgeable and did his job well
Great day Steve was an amusing, very knowledgeable guide who worked very hard to maintain enthusiasm over a long trip. Everything advertised was achieved with plenty of wonderful extras ( koalas and kangaroos)
Steve packed a lot into a very long day. Pick up at 6:55am and off to the races with 2.5 hours (including a stop for breakfast) to get to Colac, Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Wreck Gorge, Melba Gully, koala “hunting”, kangaroos, Apollo Bay lunch (scallop pie was great), Great Ocean Road ( you may need your Dramamine if you suffer motion sickness), the memorial arch, and a final pit stop at Anglesea. Steve was a lot of fun as our tour guide, cracking jokes all along the way. Arrived back in Melbourne around 7pm.
This tour is great and our tour guide Steve was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Would recommend this tour to others and especially if Steve is the tour guide.
Steve was awesome as a tour guide and super funny. An asset for the company
Our tour guide was steve he made the whole trip super fun i enjoyed every second of it thanks to him. Normally tour guides can ruin the trip but he made it so fun and enjoyable.
Great day out, not a dull moment. Steve was very entertaining and very knowledgeable. Commentary was full of interesting facts on Ocean Beach Road. Would highly recommend
Interesting tour and Steve Made it lively
Steve was a knowledgeable and great guide
Steve was excellent and very knowledgeable
Steve is a super passionate and fun tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about the Great Ocean Road and shares all his insights with the guests while being respectful of the wildlife. The bus is medium size (around 25 people) which is just nice for this kind of tour. Twelve Apostles is a magnificent site, definitely not to be missed. If you can, I recommend a helicopter ride which can be arranged on site for $195/person. Even though it’s just 16 minutes, the experience is amazing, especially if you sit by the window. The Great Ocean Road itself is very picturesque with little towns along the way. Try to sit on the right-hand side of the bus so you can face the ocean. Besides the usual stops, Steve managed to spot koalas and kangaroos so we could go down for a quick stop to take photos. He tried his best to accommodate the guests and make the experience memorable for us. He even helped us recover our refund as our original tour was canceled and we were moved to his the night before! I very highly recommend this tour, especially to native English speakers and those fluent in the language as Steve can speak fast at times with lots of Aussie/UK jokes.
Steve provided a unique and very Australian perspective to the tour. It was never rushed and his perspective provided an enjoyable tour from start to finish. Highly recommended.
A great day to see a great coast. Our driver Steve was very informative & fun.
Had a really great one-day tour of the Great Ocean Road with Steve. He’s really funny and entertaining, enjoyed it a lot! 🤣also really happy we managed to catch some koalas and kangaroos on the way!
It is definitely worth it, the sights are beautiful and we did see koalas. Too little time at Twelve Apostles and Apollo Bay; we had to choose between eating and seeing the beach. The driving coming back was a little jumpy. But overall very enjoyable and a lovely day.
Steve was an awesome guy. Fun loving and cheerful, made trip memorable.
Great way to tick of your bucket list!! Noel made the trip at ease, safe and comfortable for everyone despite the long drive and some things occurring that was out of our control (e.g. police blocking off the road). 10/10 would recommend!
A very long journey. Make sure to have snacks. Great views and beaches but chilly . Our tour guide very knowledgeable and entertained us
Great experience for this Great Ocean drive visits. Bill guided the tour with a lot of briefing. Good spots to view with ample time. Nice stops for lunch and coffee and chocolate tasting. The overall drive is amazing ocean Reverse tour is recommended for ample time to view the apostles.
The tour was great. Got it last minute and it was a great time. The guide Noel was great, friendly and informative. Highly recommended
Bill made it a great experience. He opened with a history of both Australia and the sites we would visit, so I arrived at each stop with context and a real appreciation for what I saw. Bill managed time well. He kept the day running smoothly. At each stop, he shared tips on the local food, the shops worth visiting, and the sites themselves. He also counted heads before every departure to make sure everyone was on the bus, which reassured me as a solo traveler. What stood out most was how much Bill cared about the people on the tour. He remembered each person’s name and details about them, and he showed genuine curiosity about who we were. That personal touch turned a good trip into a great one.
Bill the driver is super friendly and he tells us a lot on the great ocean road. His time management is also great. We managed to see everything on time.
Steven was a bundle of energy that really embodies the heart of Australia!!! He was a brilliant tour guide!! Highly recommend!
I was traveling with my parents from Auckland. Steve is absolutely the best tour guide we have ever met,he is very humorous with lots of fun facts, it is a bonus to have for a 12hrs road trip. He tried to be on track with the itinerary but not rushing us. He found 2 wild Koalas on a tree and they were communicating with each other, never realized Koala could be this loud in a cute way, better koala encounter experience compared to the zoo.
Steve is a great guide, he knew the Great Ocean Road so well and totally wonderful experience to be able to spot the wildlife within minutes. Just lots of compliments, none complaints. Thank you Steve for a wonderful experience!
great tour and even better driver/guide. Steve was great! He made it special and he loves Australia. One group tried to make us lose time at every stop and Steve managed it very well. We are travel agents and will highly recommend this tour to our clients.
