This experience was amazing. We saw so many wonderful things and went to so many wonderful places. Reddy was personable, informative and flexible to our needs. When we were heading back we commented on not having seen a kangaroo. He went off our planned route and when we rounded a corner there some were! He took a change and it paid off - we were thrilled at being able to end the trip this way because of him. Even if they hadn’t been there Reddy made it an unbelievable day.

Nice little country side town " situated in dairy country of victoria melbourne " . will stop in colac for moring tea/ breakfast. ( own expense )
This part of coastline use to be deep under water. The stone formed about 200 million years ago from ocean debris, such as plant and fish matter that floated to the bottom of the really deep ocean. Also keep a look out for the tiny and adorable Fairy Penguins as there are thousands of them around the area too!
The Twelve Apostles are perhaps the most famous attraction along the Great Ocean Road. These towering limestone stacks rise dramatically from the Southern Ocean, creating a breathtaking landscape. The best time to visit is either early morning or late afternoon for optimal lighting and fewer crowds.
This stunning natural formation is named after the shipwreck of the Loch Ard in 1878. The gorge is famous for its dramatic cliffs, clear waters, and beautiful sandy beach. You can also visit the nearby shipwreck memorial.
The Port Campbell National Park is a national park in the south-western district of Victoria, Australia. The 1,750-hectare national park is situated approximately 190 kilometres south-west of Melbourne and approximately 10 kilometres east of Warrnambool
It`s more than a rainforest walk. Will see towering mountain ash eucalyptus trees some awesome fern trees & ancient trees such as the myrtle beech
This lush rainforested park offers excellent hiking trails, waterfalls, and the opportunity to see native wildlife like koalas. Don’t miss Hopetoun Falls and Triplet Falls, both of which are easily accessible via short walks.
The Great Ocean Road itself is the world’s largest war memorial, as it was built entirely by soldiers who returned from World War I. Many of the soldiers who built the road had little to no experience with road construction, yet they persevered and created one of the most scenic drives in the world. The Memorial Arch is a small but powerful reminder of their contribution.
A picturesque seaside town that makes for a great stop to relax, grab a meal, and enjoy the beach. It’s also a great base for exploring the Great Otway National Park and nearby attractions.
Will see iconic Australian animals such as koalas and kangaroos.
The Chocolaterie is known for its high-quality handmade chocolates, ranging from truffles and pralines to chocolate bars, sculptures, and novelty items. They also make artisanal ice cream, which is a real treat, especially on a hot day. Their ice cream comes in a variety of flavors, and it's a perfect indulgence after a day of exploring the coast.

We had a fantastic time on this private tour. Being able to set our own pace and avoid the large tourist bus crowds made all the difference. The vehicle was incredibly comfortable, and our guide was wonderful—very knowledgeable about the local area and happy to answer all our questions. It felt like a truly VIP experience from start to finish. Highly recommend if you want a stress-free, high-quality day trip.
We did a private Great Ocean Road tour with 5 of us and honestly, it was one of the best days out. Paid $1,500 total, which was about $300 each, and got a full 10-hour run covering 550 km. What made it different from the regular coach tours was that our guide actually knew where to go to avoid the crowds. Yeah, the Twelve Apostles and those main spots were packed, but he took us to these hidden viewpoints that hardly anyone knew about. That's where the real magic was. No rushing around either. We had proper time at each spot to just soak it in and take photos without feeling pressured. The guide was really friendly and knew his stuff. Whole thing felt relaxed and scenic—exactly what a road trip should be. If you're thinking about doing the Great Ocean Road, definitely go private if you can. Way better than being stuck on a bus with 40 other people. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
12 Apostles are a must see!! Our guide Ravi took us to many out of the way places. Saw koalas and kangaroos. And an ice cream cone to end the day!!
I did the Great Ocean Road & 12 Apostles private tour in December and it was absolutely flawless from hotel pickup to the end. This is hands down the best private tour I’ve ever experienced—and I travel a lot with very high standards. Our driver was exceptional: friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He never rushed us, made sure we saw everything, and even went out of his way to help us spot kangaroos. We felt like we spent the day with a respectful friend showing us his city, not a tour guide. The Great Ocean Road and 12 Apostles were breathtaking. I can’t recommend this company enough—if you’re booking this tour, book with them.
This was not a luxury tour. We were picked up by a dirty old Toyota Rav4, very far from luxury mentioned in the description. Also, I driver had limited English and almost didn't say a word so there was no guide or any explanation of what we visited. On top, he drove aggressively passing the speed limit many times, doing 160kmh on a 100kmh limit and 130kmh hour on a 80kmh limit. We overtook traffic on a curve and on double solid lines. Upon request he stopped this behaviour. The only thing that happened according the description is that we went to the places mentioned. No luxury, dirty old car, no guide or information, not what we paid for.
I would give the tour 6 stars if I could. Ray was the best tour guide we had in Australia so far. Knowledgeable, professional, and caring. We had a great day exploring.
The trip was a one day trip to the Great ocean road. The guide named Ray and he took us to several locations within the area. The good thing for us is that we could see and spot kangaroos, cockatoos and other local animals in close interaction. This was amazing for us. Ray definitely delivered his service well.
Fabulous experience! Our driver was incredible. Highly recommend doing the private tour. Very personal and a great experience!
IT WAS AN AMAZING TOUR! AND THE TOUR GUIDE MICHAEL IS ACCOMODATING, FUNNY, INFORMATIVE AND SO FRIENDLY. EXCELLENT SERVICE! THANK HEAPS!
I highly recommend AR tours for the Great Ocean Road trip, especially if you're a first-time visitor. The convenience, the expert guidance, and the well-structured itinerary turn a scenic drive into a truly enriching adventure.
The Great Ocean Road trip is an absolute must-do for anyone visiting Australia! The stunning ocean views, iconic rock formations, and picturesque beaches make for a truly unforgettable experience. We stopped at the Twelve Apostles, London Bridge, and Loch Ard Gorge, and each spot was more breathtaking than the last. The coastal towns along the way, like Apollo Bay and Port Fairy, were charming and full of character. If you're looking for a road trip that combines natural beauty, adventure, and relaxation, the Great Ocean Road is the perfect choice.
The Great Ocean Road was nothing short of breathtaking. Every curve revealed postcard-perfect coastal views, from rugged limestone cliffs to endless stretches of golden sand. We stopped at iconic spots like the Twelve Apostles, where the sea breeze carried the scent of salt and freedom. Koalas lounged lazily in eucalyptus trees at Kennett River, while wild parrots swooped in for a quick hello. Lunch in a charming seaside town gave us the chance to enjoy fresh fish and chips with a view that made us linger just a little too long. It felt like driving through a living painting.
Guide has really great knowledge Trip was amazing picked us up from airport on time and in a luxury car my kids loved the drive breathtaking views asked for additional day trip driver went above and beyond even though it’s a busy season took us all the way to snow mountains stayed with us and returned on time to airport 100% recommended Reddy was a very knowledgeable person
We had an unforgettable experience exploring the Great Ocean Road with our family, all thanks to an outstanding tour operator. The journey was perfectly paced with stunning coastal views, wildlife sightings, and well-timed stops. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip fun for all ages. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and small thoughtful touches like snacks and water made a big difference. Highlights included the 12 Apostles, spotting koalas in the wild, and learning about the region’s history. Highly recommend this tour – professional, personal, and absolutely worth every moment. A five-star experience!
Driving the Great Ocean Road was one of the most breathtaking experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we set off, every bend in the road revealed another postcard-perfect view – towering cliffs, endless blue ocean, and charming little seaside towns. The highlight, of course, was the Twelve Apostles, which were even more awe-inspiring in person than any photo could capture. The route felt like a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. We stopped for fresh seafood in Apollo Bay, spotted wild koalas lounging in the trees at Kennett River, and wandered along hidden beaches that felt like our own private paradise. The road itself is a joy to drive, with smooth curves that hug the coastline and plenty of well-placed lookouts to pull over and soak it all in. If you love nature, stunning views, and a road trip you’ll remember forever, this is the one. Worth every kilometre – I’d do it again in a heartbeat!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 *5-STAR REVIEW* I had an amazing time on the Great Ocean Road tour with AR TOURS. The trip was well-organized, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and full of fun stories about the region’s history, wildlife, and hidden gems. We visited stunning spots like the Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, and the Otway Rainforest, with plenty of time for photos and exploring. The small group made it personal, and the bus was clean and comfortable. Loved the surprise stops, especially seeing wild koalas! Highly recommend this operator for anyone wanting a relaxed, scenic, and memorable coastal adventure.
*"Unforgettable Adventure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️* "Just back from the most incredible road trip with friends/family! Highly recommend this route to anyone looking for an adventure of a lifetime! 😊🚗✨"
If you’re looking for a unique Australian wildlife experience away from the usual tourist crowds, this Kangaroo & Koala Secret Spotting Tour is an absolute gem. The tour truly lives up to its promise of "secret spotting", taking us to lesser-known locations where we had magical moments observing kangaroos and koalas in their natural habitat—without the crowds. The comfort of the car made a huge difference during the 12-hour round trip. Spacious, clean, and cozy, it felt more like a private adventure than a typical group tour. The small group size (just us!) meant a more intimate experience, and the driver-guide was exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. What stood out most was the personalized attention. The driver stopped at every location we requested, whether it was for a quick photo op, a scenic lookout, or just a coffee break. The itinerary felt tailored to our pace and interests, which made the whole day relaxed and enjoyable. And yes—reverse itinerary (you’ll know what that means when you go!) was the best part—truly a clever twist that added depth and excitement to the journey. Highly recommended for anyone who values comfort, privacy, and genuine wildlife encounters.
We had an outstanding experience with this tour. The destination was excellent, and the service provided was truly top-notch. A special mention to our driver, Mr. Reddy, who was exceptionally punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly. He went above and beyond to make our tour truly memorable. His dedication and professionalism added great value to our trip. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Excellent service, good and knowledgeable chauffeur. Explained about the places, took us to special place where we witnessed a lot of kangaroos. Best and reliable service for tourists. Cozy and comfortable drive in the luxury car. Highly recommend this service.
The service provided by provider was friendly, punctual and professional. I went with my parents and all of us fully enjoyed the trip. We found the service to be reasonably priced when compared to competitors and have no complaints.
Rahul Reddy's trip is excellent value for money and lots of fun. The trip was timely without any delays and all locations were covered as advertised. Highly recommended.
The tour itself is a perfect blend of breathtaking coastal views and exclusive stops, all tailored to your pace. The guide is highly knowledgeable, providing insightful commentary throughout the trip. Highly recommended!
