Great Ocean Road, 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge & Lunch - Melbourne

My second day in Melbourne. This was my favorite of the two days. Joe was a gracious guide and we enjoyed him.

Joe our guide was fantastic, he gave such history, short stories about area he was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this tour. Not to be missed!!!

Such a nice day out seeing some beautiful scenic sights on the Great Ocean Road! Anthony the tour guide was very informative about each stop and fun facts! He even made sure we had extra stops off to see Koalas and Kangeroos. Very lovely day and would very much recommend to any solo travellers :)

A huge part of what made the day so enjoyable was our guide, Mr Kiwi. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and kept the whole group engaged with interesting stories and practical tips throughout the day.

Do not book with Viator. They rip you off. It is advised in Australia dollars and payment taken in US dollars.

I had a fantastic time on the Reverse Great Ocean Road tour with Joe! He is an excellent, knowledgable, enthusiastic and caring tour guide who genuinely loves what he does and loves making sure you have an amazing time! His humour, stories, and generosity truly made the tour a wonderful time. He even went out of his way to show us koalas and kangaroos, and dropped me and another person off directly outside my hostel! I can't recommend Autopia Tours enough, but only if you go with Joe!!

JOE was a great host! I think he learned everyone’s name, no matter which country of origin. It’s a long day of driving with multiple stops. Great vistas, interesting stories, kangaroos, koala sightings, rainforest, beaches, cliffs…. Lots to see!

Great tour with multiple stops but not feeling rushed and with time to enjoy and take some pictures. The forest, Apollo Bay beach and 12 Apostles are amazing. Kiwi was a great guide, explaining a lot, helpful and kind.

Great day of sightseeing. Taking the reverse tour put us at the Twelve Apostles at the perfect time of day for photos. Peter was an engaging guide. Very personable and informative. Breathtaking views on the Great Ocean Road. We even got to see kangaroos and koalas in the wild.

Really nice experience especially because of the awesome guide Chris (Kiwi) who shares an incredible amount of interesting information during the whole day. It is very well planned and organized guided tour. We even managed ito see kangaroos and koala in nature. Sandwiches for lunch were also really good.

Chris provided us with detailed explanations of each tourist attraction and we felt welcomed by his hospitality. It would be better if more time can be allocated to the tourist spots although we understand that this is limited by the time we had as a day tour.

Good value for the money. Guide was very considerate in providing coffee and tea at all the stops as well as various charging cables for our phones that plugged into the seatbacks.

We booked the Reverse Great Ocean Road tour at the last minute due to changes in the weather forecast. Really glad we did! The tour itself was great, from pick-up, to site visits, to easy drop-off at the end of a long day! We really lucked out with the weather and got to see so many more sights than we would have otherwise if we'd gone alone. There was a lot of ground to cover, with the "Twelve" Apostles being the clear highlight of the tour. We did great on time and even managed a few bonus stops which included a Koala sighting and a whole group of Kangaroos! The star of the show was honestly our guide, Ilkay. I have no idea how he maintained such great energy throughout what must have been an incredibly long day for him (bearing in mind he was driving AND guiding, and we were his first pick-ups at 7am, and last drop-offs around 8pm). His explanations were brilliant, both in content and delivery, and his enthusiasm really kept our group engaged. Couldn't have asked for a better guide!

Best tour guide ever - Joe , we confused our pick up spot and he still turned back the whole bus for us and picked us up , and gave us an amazing start to our first visit in Melbourne , with all the right amounts of information , warm conversation and most importantly Australian hospitality at its finest .
