Marcus was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide, and most of the time kept a close eye on all the participants. The electric bikes worked well, and how to operate them was well explained at the start, however the rear lights on two of them were not working. The lunch venue was good, dhoud take your own water.

The quality of a tour really comes down to the guide and Max was terrific. Bikes were in good shape and the cafe we stopped at for lunch was perfect.
Leo was fantastic showed us all the areas of Melbourne we hadn’t seen before and riding the electric bikes was very easy and thank goodness we had them as we covered a lot of ground. Such a fun day we won’t forget it .
Despite heavy rain after lunch, Leo gave us a fun, informative tour of Melbourne’s sites. A great day.
Brilliant tour and guide was very engaging and knowledgeable. Bike was in good order ... i even went back and hired one a few days later for the day at a reasonable daily rate. Staff are organised and helpful. Traveling solo and made to feel welcome. Lunch was lovely would be better if it was included in the price of the tour but you know this when you book it! . Fab way to spend a couple of hours if visiting Melbourne and i would highly recomend this company.
Marcus was great for history and clarity . Excellent bikes and tour
Max was a superb guide for our first visit to Melbourne. He has an obvious enthusiasm for his home town which is quite contagious. We had a wonderful tour, stopped for a delicious lunch and got some great ideas for what to do next in Melbourne. The e-bike tour is the way to go as we covered so much ground - definitely my favourite way to see a new city.
This was a great bike ride. Max was an excellent tour guide, explained much about Melbourne and in particular its people and how it was formed. The electric bikes made a big difference as it was very windy. They were smooth and responsive. Excellent choice for lunch in Fitzroy. Highly recommended.
The tour was just the right amount of bike riding and history with stops at all of the notable sights of Melbourne. Leo was an excellent tour guide…friendly, fun and shared some interesting tidbits of history! Highly recommend!
**A fantastic Melbourne bike tour with Marcus!** Marcus was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and well organized. He made the bike ride fun and easy to follow, shared great insights about Melbourne, and kept the group comfortable throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend Marcus to anyone visiting Melbourne.
This was a fantastic way to see Melbourne. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting here. Max, our guide, was fabulous and very knowledgeable.
I must admit, I was feeling a little anxious. I was concerned with the busy roads and it was also my first time on an electric bike. Marcus immediately put us at ease. He was informative and made sure we were safe throughout the ride. Our four hour ride went by so quickly on a such beautiful day in Melbourne. Well done Marcus and team.
I had a fantastic day exploring Melbourne on an electric bike tour! Marcus was an excellent guide, sharing fascinating insights into the city’s local history and cultural highlights, along with personal anecdotes that made the experience even more engaging. The electric bikes were a great way to cover more of Melbourne than I would have been able to on foot, and seeing the city through a local’s perspective made it even more special. The Fitzroy Gardens and a laneway showcasing Melbourne’s famous street art were particular highlights for me. Lunch was at the perfect venue, with a great variety of options to choose from. I opted for the steak sandwich, which was delicious! Overall, it was a professional, informative and thoroughly enjoyable experience. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to discover more of Melbourne in a fun and relaxed way!
Great way to explore the city with a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide Marcus.
Great tour of Melbourne! The bikes were comfortable and easy to use. Marcus was an excellent guide and led us on a fun tour of the important sights and key neighborhoods of Melbourne.
Marcus was such a knowledgeable and likeable tour guide. The experience was just fabulous! If you haven’t done this with Blue Tongue Bikes then you are missing out! Would go again definitely!
Great tour. Very informative. Could not have asked for a better guide. Would recommend this for all.
An excellent tour of the major sights around Melbourne with Marcus who was a well informed guide and provided a great insight into the history of Melbourne and the specific sights- highly recommended
We did the e-bike tour of Melbourne with the tour guide Leo and he was fantastic. Loved all the places we visited, he made it so interesting and was very understanding with our extra requests.
The bike tour was awesome. A great way to see the city and find places to visit. Our guide was Hal. He was very knowledgeable and personable.
We are from Hong Kong, first time in Melbourne. My 8 year old son and I joined the group e-bike group. Turns out it was only we two so it became like private tour. We used a big bigger bike with seat at back for son to sit on. Our guide Al was very nice, well informed and educating us with lots of Melbourne history and stories, and great smiles and energy. Blessed with great weather when forecast said whole week of rain. Sturdy bike.
Great day with Al. Informative, personable, sightseeing was thoughtful. Great history stories. Highly recommended.
We loved our 4 hour easy peddle-assist bike tour around the CBD and surrounding attractions. It's so easy on a bike to cover huge distances - the bikes worked really well - and we felt super safe following our awesome guide, Marcus, around. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and was a local Melbourne boy (born and raised) so it was great to have that local touch. After the tour, and because we then felt confident on the bikes and in the traffic - we took the bikes down to Melbourne Beach, St Kilda and Brighton beach for a quick dip. Hiring bikes and having a tour to give you confidence was the best thing we could have done! Such a highlight of our trip!
It was a great tour, Ale did an amazing Job! The bikes are very easy to use! I would recommend booking this tour the first day you are in Melbourne if you have no idea what to do or see! Makes it so much easier. I definitely recommend!
Bit of an explore. Bit of history. Bit of culture. Bit of exercise. Bit of lunch. All in a lot of fun. The teenager reckons it was the highlight of our weekend. I’d agree.
For us getting there was easy from the Cruise Terminal via tram. We loved the ride bikes easy and sized well to us. Guide Al. terrific we had a ball, probably just need couple extra minutes to take a few photos. Lovely Cafe in Fitzroy great. Highly recommended.
It was a great way to see the city. Marcus was awesome and full of information about the city. We saw some great sights that I don't think we would have seen from a bus tour.
This tour was great. Perfect way to see the city and learn about the city of Melbourne. Guide was fantastic
Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Visited several major historic locations and numerous key locations in Melbourne.
My son and I did this tour and loved it! Such a great way to see so much of the city. Al was our guide and he was awesome! Highly recommend this tour!
Marcus our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and we had a really good tour of Melbourne taking in all the sights. The lunch stop was brilliant and gave us a chance to relax before heading back out into the city. We have done many bike tours but this was our first on an e-bike and we loved it.
Tour guide was great. Awesome pace. Solid ebikes. Dress in layers, still worth it if weather is not great.
A great way to see Melbourne and learn a bit about the city’s history. The electric bike makes it easy for anyone at any fitness level to do.
The address provided was incorrect, which caused a bit of panic when trying to find the meetpoint. The tour provider has been notified, so hopefully the address is corrected.
This was a really great experience - we saw a good amount of Melbourne, including the Royal Gardens, the Sports complex, the waterfront, and China Town. We stopped midday for lunch, experienced much more of the city than we could have just walking around and had a much more immersive experience than a bus tour could have offered. The ebikes functioned well, the guide was careful and thoughtful, and it was a great experience.
Enjoyable way to get an overview of Melbourne city and its some of it’s history. Our guide Jeremy was knowledgeable about many questions we asked.
Easy biking, well planned trek. Jeremy was knowledgeable and personable. What an amazing city! Good lunch stop.
Never done this activity before. Absolutely brilliant. Very Knowledgeable and entertaining Guide. Lovely place for lunch. Now back home in the UK. We are going to buy electric bikes.
The bikes are easy to operate. The tour was 4 hours with a 45 minute lunch break in the middle. We covered a lot of ground with several points of interest stops along the way. Our guide, Al, was great at keeping the group together and telling us about Melbourne. It was a beautiful sunny day and a very fun ride.
This tour was so informative. The guide told us so much history about Melbourne and was very enthusiastic. We rode everywhere and saw so much.
We had a lot of fun on the e bike trip. Loved all the history. Great pace. Al was funny, informative, patient. Would def recommend.
Great way to see the city. Knowledgable guide. Great lunch spot
Absolutely fun and informative overview your of Melbourne. Allen was amazing in his presentation, and he made sure that we all were comfortable with our bikes and "ready to roll" thru the city. Would highly recommend!!
This was a great cycling tour of Melbourne! The tour guide knew a lot about the history and culture of the city. The cycling was easy, and would be good for most ability levels. The route was varied; we saw the city icons and cycled on lovely park trails and through beautiful neighborhoods. Lunch was delicious at an out of the way spot. I’d highly recommend this tour! What a great way to see Melbourne!
The route was well constructed and avoided traffic mostly. You see a lot biking that you may miss in a vehicle and you cover more ground than walking. Very good guide with great knowledge. Cyce lanes on streets work well. Fairly expensive.
It was a wonderful way to spend a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Our guide, Marcus, took us out of town along the riverbank, out by the sports center and back past federation square and through China town. Our lunch was at a delightful little place in a suburb and was delicious! The one thing I would know is that Marquis doesn’t stop for photographs very often. So I would be sure to tell him ahead of time that you might want to stop along the way. He was a wealth of information and shared so many interesting facts about Melbourne during the bike ride.
This was a tremendous way to see all aspects of Melbourne. Our tour leader, Markus, provided lots of thoughtful information on Melbourne during the tour. The e-bikes worked great.
What a great day biking through Melbourne! We got to see so much of the city up close. Marcus was a wonderful tour guide! We learned so much about Melbourne’s history and culture along the way. We had a lovely stop for lunch with delicious food! Highly recommend this tour when visiting Melbourne!
Marcus was an excellent tour leader. He took time to explain how to get the best of the electric bikes and the history of the City of Melbourne. The route he covered included a lot of historical sites and buildings. Lunch was in a wonderful little cafe that provided gluten free options. All in all it was a great experience lead by a charismatic and knowledgeable leader.
Marcus was a great considerate Tour Guide, the Bikes were easy to use, and the ride effortless. We took in a lot of the Melbourne highlights, and easy to get through busy areas very safely.
