Wonderful trip except a small blemish. There were two guides, the first one was Darren and second part was Matt. Both were knowledgeable and funny. After went ashore, we joined into another group with new guide - Matt. Finally, some newcomers were joined after Strawberry Farm. Little bit confusing to find new seats and felt sultriness in the minibus. There were many stops. Beautiful Geelong Waterfront. Nice view near Lighthouse. The lunch at the pier was good. Great main course and desserts, plus a drink in the ferry. Breathtaking views from the ferry. We visited Strawberry Farm to handpick delicious strawberries in boxes. Admired panoramic views from Murrays Lookout in Arthurs Seat. Beautiful beach with colorful bathing Boxes. Full of sightseeing experiences.

Overall experience was great. Matt was an excellent tour guide. He was a great commentator and very informative. He gives occassional jokes as well. Food from Tarra was quite perfect as well. The presentation taste and texture hit the spot. Loved the ferry ride from sorrento and the chocolate testing for gourmet chocolates at mornington chocolate factory.
Gina is very informative and good at photography. We absolutely had a great day. Strongly recommend this tour to everyone who’s visiting Melbourne.
Although a very hot Melbourne day we had a delightful trip sightseeing and visiting many great locations. Our driver Maigread was very knowledgeable and interesting. She certainly made our day so much more enjoyable with her input.
Gary, our driver and guide, was excellent. Took us to key highlights on Mornington Peninsula and gave detailed information. We also went on the round ferry trip from Sorrento and visited the craft beer venue T St Andrews Beach. Highly recommend Gary and this tour.
Our trip was wonderful. Maigread our guide took us to the Mornington Peninsula sightseeing and bay cruise. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide, Maigread was very informative, helpful and truly a beautiful person. She gave us a wonderful trip and We had a great time. The cruise on the ferry was Fantastic with a beautiful lunch on board. I will definitely be using Explore Australia again. Highly recommended.
This tour was a relaxed fun filled day thanks to Brooke and Shane. Wonderful sights of Geelong, the bay and Mornington Peninsular with plenty of informative commentary.
Loved visiting the bay. Margaret was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about this part of Australia. Highly recommended.
This is among the best tours I have taken - anywhere. In one longish day it included numerous highlights and a wealth of good experiences. The two guides - Matt for the first half and Peter (Safari) for the second - were welcoming, funny, knowledgeable and flexible. You couldn't ask for better. It helped that we had a sunny day - not guaranteed in Melbourne - so we travelled down the west coast of the bay in brilliant sunshine to Geelong. Here - as in a number of other stops - we were given time to ramble and explore a little - and our small group split up and did so. Our ferry cruise was splendid and we got a substantial, healthy and tasty lunch - plus coffee afterwards. Some of the places we were shown are not much known by locals e.g. the millionaire's walk. The brewery gave us decent samples of 4 beers - and the evening sunshine helped. We delayed our guide - watching kangaroos in the wild - so that we only saw the bathing boxes after sunset but that was our fault. There were no extra charges and, by Australian standards, the tour was fantastic value for money. I would recommend it highly to anyone visiting Melbourne for the first time.
I only booked online 2 days before the tour, not a problem, booking confirmation came back almost immediately. Convenient city centre pick up, and with the tours only being small groups, the driver (Matt) knew everybody's name, which is a nice touch. There were four on my tour, 1 couple and then two of us solo travellers. Plenty of local knowledge and anecdotes shared along the way. Nice stops at Geelong and along the beaches. Ferry ride is beautiful, and good luck with eating all your lunch...there's more than enough...good job it comes in a box so you can take the extra away with you. The beer tasting is great, and if you still feel hungry there is time to buy freshly made pizza and other meals. I really can't recommend this tour and company enough, it's great value for money, with fantastic staff. If you're travelling solo, book a tour with these guys, they'll make you feel so welcome and you'll have a great day.
The tour was cleverly thought out and I got an excellent view of the bay. Both tour guides were excellent and very organized. I highly recommend the trip.
Overall enjoyable trip. Just missed the Arthurs Seat and Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre. We spent over an hour in Andrews beach brewery waiting for a pick up (the driver needed to pick up another group). No Mount Martha bathing boxes No Arthurs Seat. ????
With anything, there is always room for improvement. By the description I thought we would be more (on the water ) experience. The guides were brilliant. Thanks Ken and Matt.
Had a lovely day out. Saw lots of interesting things and learned about the local community and culture. Our driver Max was most helpful and entertaining. Would thoroughly recommend it.
What a great day! Ken or driver was so lovely and thoughtful. Very knowledgeable and nothing too much trouble. All stops were beautiful and interesting. Our lunch on board the ferry was substantial and very nice. The beer tasting was good. Great trip.
We had a wonderful day with Kyle our tour guide. He was very professional and thorough and made the tour an enjoyable day , we’ll done and I highly recommend this tour
What a great day! And a fun and knowledgeable host in Kyle! And let's not forget the team behind the scenes (that's you Polly) with their amazing service. :)
Stopped at several locations and had a packed lunch on the cruise boat, favourite stop was St Andrew's Brewery.
Cruising and nice views were beautiful but the only thing which bothers me is the title of activity in the internet. It says: "one day cruise" and it is not
Matt is honestly one of the best guides I’ve had, taking my cousin and I under his wings throughout the trip! Despite the poor weather, the trip was very memorable and informative.
Plenty of sightseeing and photo stops, lovely lunch provided, Matt our guide was very friendly and helpful.
What a great way to see both sides of the bay in one day. All the stops were great and interesting and the trip included the ferry ride, that epic lunch, Arthurs Seat for the nostalgic and of course "hard to beat" the St. Andrews Brewery stop. The tour was on a small mini bus and our guide Matt was very knowledgeable and friendly. We loved this trip and highly recommend it to everyone.
The tour was an enjoyable and relaxing day. Kyle was the perfect host. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
We can only be full of praise for our tour guide Matt and for Exploire Australia Tours. Thanks to this great tour we could visit special placer of the Bellarine and Mornington Peninsula we would have never heard about. Matt was sharing his knowledge, kindness and jokes the whole day. The food on the boat was also really amazing. Five star tour, no question about that ! Julie & Jerome
Great tour with a bit of everything thrown in. Food hamper to die for, ferry trip, beautiful Geelong, a gondola ride and lots of sightseeing. Kyle was a great guide, very inclusive and considerate. Thank you for an awesome day. Recommended
