Amazing hotel. We stayed in the suite and were amazed by the funky yet modern design of the room, the bathrooms were big and there was even a smart toilet. The mix bar was thoughtfully put together and the beds were extremely comfy. The facilities were amazing, ranging from a heated pool to varieties of different restaurants. The service was faultless, making us feel as if we were at home. Since W Melbourne is located on Flinders lane, is allows their guests to visit the more lively spots of the city efficiently and easily. If you’re visiting Melbourne, this is the place to stay.

We stayed at the W Melbourne, and it was one of the best hotel experiences we've had. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly looked after. Margot at the front desk was exceptional. She even made a dinner reservation for us at one of the hotel's restaurants, which was a lovely touch. Our room was beautiful, and we had dinner at the Italian restaurant, where we enjoyed the steak—it was absolutely divine. The next morning, breakfast was amazing, with a great selection and excellent quality. The hotel also has a beautiful bar serving delicious cocktails. One of the highlights was the pool, which is open 24/7. We went for a swim, and it was such a relaxing experience. I wish I could give W Melbourne more than five stars. Every member of the staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay so much and would highly recommend it!
We've been back often to this place and it's our go-to these days. We sometimes bring the kids but mainly we use it as an adult retreat for special events. We have been remiss in not reviewing earlier because we love the uniqueness of this property and the proximity to some great restaurants. Not to mention their own restaurants, in particular Warabi which we have frequented. The front staff are courteous and friendly, the rooms are beautiful and on the irregular times we get a suite or are luckily upgraded to a suite, we enjoy the spacious rooms and the chic amenities. The kids love the pool as well. This last stay, Stella at the front desk was particularly prominent and helpful. Recommend.
I've stayed at the W quite a few times and always enjoy my stay there. The rooms are modern and feature the type of design flare you expect from a W. The beds are super comfy and the TVs are large and modern. The bathrooms are a feature, with good size, luxury amenities and seperate Japanese style toilets. The location is a very central, with most things within walking distance and great access to MCEC and Crown for events. The breakfast buffet is solid, with variety of dishes each morning and an fresh egg menu. It's worth noting that this isn't the best hotel for workspace, as it's more designed for comfort. Overall, my stays at the W have been great and the staff were friendly and efficient across the board
Fantastic hotel with chic, unique rooms in true W style. The rooms are spacious, the Wet Deck pool is great, and the overall design makes the stay feel a bit more special than your average hotel. The standout for us was the team at Curious. The staff there were warm, attentive and genuinely helpful, and they were easily the highlight of our stay. I unfortunately can’t remember her name, but the female waitress with long blonde hair was fantastic — hilarious, engaging, and genuinely made our night memorable. Unfortunately, the front desk experience let things down. We had to follow up several times about an extra bed that had been promised at check-in, and when it finally arrived, it was placed in a spot that blocked access to the bathroom. The staff member who delivered it left so quickly that I barely had a chance to ask for it to be moved. I also left my jacket at Curious, and it took four separate follow-ups with the front desk before I eventually found someone from the Curious team who was able to locate it in the main lost property department. There were also consistently long queues at reception, with only two front desk staff available. While the champagne on arrival is a nice touch, the experience would be much better if more staff were focused on helping guests quickly and resolving issues. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with some great facilities and excellent service at Curious, but the front desk experience needs improvement.
