Veriu Collingwood

Excellent location for our stay. Fantastic customer service on reception. Would have like a bathtub. Room spotless. Will use again.

Tried to book here in the usual way, then received an email asking for prepayment on a link that was suspicious and saying my booking would be cancelled within 24 hours without payment. After questioning the process they tried to want to charge me a cancellation fee - because I didn’t want to use their scam. Fortunately a few other places around I could book that were normal.

The room was immaculate and we could not fault it, that's the 5 given. Unfortunately we had some disrespectful neighbours who thought being loud and rowdy all night was ok. This along with the smoking pot smell wafting over to our room was disappointing. We left frustrated and tired.

Stayed here for a short getaway, can’t fault the place… service is good, rooms are clean, tidy, functional and well equipped. Gym, spa and pool are also great spaces. We had a room with a courtyard which was lovely but very dusty and the windows looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time and cover with dirt, If the courtyard was cleaned we would have used it more. Retuned to this hotel, 4th time visiting and the service and rooms are amazing, great rooftop and gym too.
