The Sebel Melbourne Moonee Ponds

The customer service was a stand out, any query we had was attended to quickly and efficiently. Location is very convenient - surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. A quick train/tram ride into the city. Apartments themselves were fine. Clean and modern but also inner city small proportions and beginning to look a bit shabby around the edges. One air conditioner in lounge to service the whole apartment so can get a bit stuffy in the bedroom with the door closed. Balcony and opening windows is good for fresh air though. Overall very good, generally value for money accommodation.

Stayed here for a business trip for 2 weeks. The apartment is a great size and has everything you need. Great location with just a short walk between tram and rail line and about half way between the city and airport. Lots of convenient shops and eateries nearby. The staff are helpful and always pleasant, greeting you as you come and go.

The service was exceptional. The young man at reception made me most welcome, with empathy, as I had just had a trying medical procedure and was quite doddery. The little apartment is beautifully presented and has everything you could need: wall oven, hotplates, dishwasher clothes washer microwave. Shower room is clean and well appointed. Views from the windows and the small balcony are stunning. Close to all amenities, including a shopping centre and 2 supermarkets.

We stayed for 8 nights. The proximity of the hotel was perfect for our stay - close to our family in Moonee Ponds, good shopping/eateries and close to public transport. Our 2 bedroom apartment with lounge and kitchen was very comfortable. The restaurant was even better. The excellent service and tasty food at Saros was simply stunning! We had some misunderstandings when checking into the hotel, but overall the stay was enjoyable. I recommend.
