I booked this hotel through booking and so I didn't receive the email from the property regarding the $150 deposit and also the pin code to get in. I had to ring the after hours number. They were great and explained everything really well even offering to stay on the line until I was in the apartment. Because of the mix up I had requested a parking space and none were available so had to park on the street a few blocks away. Not ideal but everything turned out ok. The rooms were a good size and comfy bed and pillow, bed was slightly on the saggy side but I sleep on a very hard bed normally. You could see the apartments age starting to show but still very beach/Hamptons feel to the interior. Had all the amenities you could want and need. Sadly I was only doing an overnight. Views out to the street, no balcony access from that particular room. Milk was in the fridge for a coffee which was great. Close to shops and eateries also.

Great location, easy access to public transport, clean & comfortable apartment. Any issues were well attended by the service staff. Would definitely book the apartment again.
Overall we had a good stay here. I received good communication prior to arriving by sms, email and phone. The "check-in" was easy, you can enter using the provided door codes or using the app. The room was pretty good however I must take points off for cleanliness. The carpet looked like it could've been better vacuumed, one of the 4 coffee pods was actually used (can see the machine puncture marks) and there was a pair of socks left into the clothes drier by the previous guest. We were on a level 1 room and nearly all windows were covered with privacy films, the one clear window had a view of the back alley. Hence there is no real view outside, not sure if higher levels are better. Also, all windows are locked so you can have fresh air. There is one air conditioner in the dining area, none in the bedrooms. We tried our luck each evening with street parking. Either we got lucky, had to drive around a few times or park further away. Be away most street parking around is time limited during the day.
Only good thing about this place was the location 1. Room/main entry code did not work when we arrived. Tried calling reception multiple times on different devices and could not speak to a staff member using their local 03 number.. we were stuck outside in the cold weather with heavy rain and a toddler. 2. Carpet in the bedroom was soaked when we arrived and caused the entire apartment to stink (reported but not solved) 3. Internet connectivity was poor 4. TV in living room was nearly unusable - slow, small screen and could not handle casting. 5. Apartment furnishings and appliances outdated 6. No onsite reception staff Recommend the following for these issues: 1. Fixing your phone system 2. Retraining reception staff and maybe having some on-site? 3. Ensure key codes work prior to sending them to guests 4. Refresh furnishings in apartment 5. Get better quality TVs and appliances 6. Respond to complaints more appropriately
The property has great potential that it is not living up to. The overall feel is that whoever is managing it has run out of money and is trying to eke out every penny it can without spending anything to maintain or refurbish things. This place needs a complete and total redo. The location is great, but just about everything else is not. I would not recommend this place until it has been refurbished and they have e a new management company in place.
