We had a superior king room overlooking the park and it was very good with plenty of room. The breakfast was also very good. The location was very convenient with tram and train access close by. Very pleased with the accommodation and would definitely stay again next time we visited Melbourne.
Photos look better than what it is - it’s rundown and dirty and full of what looks like band-aid fixes. Doors and walls are marked and scuffed and just generally dirty. Bathroom was old, with nowhere to put toiletries, and not aesthetic at all. The room itself had a nice view and the bed was comfortable. Pool and sauna were nice. I’d stay somewhere else next time.
Not a 5-star hotel. Nothing about the hotel is premium. The rooms have scary bare white walls, horrific lighting, absolutely no thought put into making a room feel welcoming for a guest to stay in. When I entered, I actually thought my room was under construction because it was so empty. And not in a chic way. In an unfinished way. Gym and pool are sad, although it is nice that they have 2 Pelotons (one of which works). It was relatively clean and fully a 3-star hotel/experience.
Great location with very friendly service. The room is spacious & nice, but furnitures are a bit old. Swimming pool & Sauna are great facilities for relaxing after a busy day. The location is super good, with nearby shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The shower door opens towards inside, a bit awkward to walk out.
A welcoming and comfortable stay. We keep returning when in Melbourne as the Como is so wonderfully located near the things we like to do. Great restaurant options like Caffe e Cucina and Hawker Hall. So easy to get around South Yarra and into the City. Room is spacious and great feel. Staff are pleasant and helpful.
