A nice stay, very comfortable place, with all facilities and goods needed. The cleaning is excellent. The staff was very kind and the position was strategic for reach most places in the city

My sister and I booked direct with Spencer Street Apartments and were delighted with our stay. We had another booking at a different complex via a global online booking agent and this was messed up.This agent did not refund us even though it was their mistake. We booked Spencer Street Apartments last minute in a panic and they upgraded us to a 2 bed 2 bath apartment at no extra charge and were very friendly. They even held reception open when we arrived after 8 pm from Perth. The apartment was clean, neat and well furnished. The beds were comfortable and the showers were fantastic. Hot water and lots of space in the cubicle. The apartment is close to the Swanson Street train station, walkable to the trams and it felt safe. Would highly recommend Spencer Street Apartments for your next Melbourne stay.

I paid around AUD 400 for this booking and unfortunately received no actual stay or service in return. While I fully acknowledge that I made an honest mistake with the booking month, I reached out immediately and made multiple reasonable proposals, including paying penalties or covering price differences to adjust the dates. However, the property showed no flexibility and strictly enforced the policy without considering the situation from a customer’s perspective. This resulted in a complete financial loss for a stay that was never used, which is extremely disappointing. Overall, this has been a very frustrating and unsatisfactory booking experience. I would strongly recommend future guests double-check every detail carefully before booking, as there appears to be little room for resolution if any issue arises.

Location and front staff service was great. As an apartment some basics essentials should have been provided. Like dish rack, tea towels and cooking oil. Would recommend staying here and look forward to upgrading the review with the essentials provided next trip. Thank you.
