Have stayed here before and a decent experience, but this time… Paid for a standard room, $175. Got a free upgrade to a spa room but at what cost? Paid a $300 bond and upon checking out. The reception guy went and checked out the room. Came back in, and said to me “the bedroom door is loose”. I replied that I had no idea and that I never touched it because the heater is in the main room, and he said “it’s just usually wear and tear just be honest about it”. Mate your attitude is absolutely appalling. Room 8/10 Service 1/10 - Will not stay here again.

Our experience at this hotel was abysmal. We checked in, all good. When we entered our room we were greeted by a strong chemical/cleaning smell. When we alerted the staff at reception of this we were told "oh yes the cleaners are pretty heavy handed with the NO VAC" a product sprayed on the carpets. "Just open the doors and put the AC on, it'll go away." Well no, my partner ended up with a migraine caused by this. Our second issue was regarding the shower. My partner and I both took showers. We noticed that a lot of water was coming out of the base of the shower and puddling around the bathroom floor. This made the glossy tiles incredibly slippery and was a huge hazard. We called reception to ask if there was a possiblity to have any towels to clean this up, we didn't want to have slippery floors if we had to use the bathroom overnight. We rang reception and spoke with a gentleman who was clearly drunk and slurring his words. We were told that there were no more towels in the entire complex and that housekeeping weren't on at that time anyway. We ended up using one of the two towels we had to clean up the floors to make them safer to walk across. Sharing one towel between two people isn't something we should have had to do. Next. We were getting ready for bed and my partner lifted one of the pillows and two large parts of dead skin fell out and into the bed. Gross. Then, when the sheets were pulled back, there were three or four brownish stains on the sheets. There were also brown marks on some of the other pillows. Just filthy, stains everywhere. We aren't usually the ones to complain but this experience was beyond gross. I've literally never experienced anything like it. We won't be staying at this or any other Quality hotel again.
We stayed at Quality Suites Point Cook Seasons 5 for 10 days from December 2024 through to January 2025, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing Our initial room was old, dusty, and infested with spiders and ants. After the first night, we requested to be moved as my husband was bitten by ants. We arrived late and didn’t want to inconvenience the caretaker at check-in, so we waited until the next morning to raise the issue with reception. We were then moved to a slightly better room, which felt cleaner. However, the stay continued to be disrupted. On several nights, we were unable to sleep due to loud guests partying and drinking right next to our room. We made another complaint and requested either a room change or some form of compensation. Unfortunately, we were told that management was unavailable due to the year-end public holidays and that our complaint would be addressed once they returned. Regrettably, we never received any follow-up or resolution.
I would like to inform you that when I booked this place you had more than 5 vacancies and within 45 mins I did cancel and advised that it is emergency and I am unable to come. Because it was over looked. They do charge sometime some are nice enough that they will cancel and not charge any fees. Even you called property manager doesn’t want to listen and argue with you. She was no help and not shown any understanding.
Do NOT Book This Hotel in Winter – Poor Heating and Unprofessional Service Despite the room being nicely presented, my stay at Quality Hotel Point Cook (Seasons5) on June 1st was incredibly disappointing due to serious heating issues and unhelpful staff. I checked into Room 5 at 9:00 PM. Despite setting the heater to 27°C and waiting over an hour, the room remained uncomfortably cold. I reported the issue to the night staff, who admitted that other guests had complained about the same issue. He offered to move me to Room 7, but the room had the same problem. The heating simply did not work. By 11:25 PM, I had no choice but to leave and search for another hotel nearby. I requested a refund of the $140 I had paid, explaining that I wasn’t cancelling by choice—I was leaving because the hotel failed to deliver what was promised: a warm room with functioning air conditioning, as advertised. He refused and instead told me to call back at 8 AM and speak to someone in the morning. I left the hotel before 11:30 PM without using any of the facilities—no toilet, no shower, nothing. I did not stay the night. The next day, I called and spoke with a woman who claimed to be the shift manager. Unfortunately, she was even less helpful—refused to listen, immediately got defensive, and acted as if nothing was wrong. I clearly explained that the room didn’t meet the advertised standards, and their refusal to acknowledge or resolve the issue was completely unacceptable. In short, a very disappointing and frustrating experience. Clean room or not, if the hotel can't keep you warm in winter and the staff won’t take responsibility, it's not worth your time or money. Avoid this place.
