Punthill Essendon

I didn't make it through the doors. Just before leaving to check in I was taken to hospital by ambulance. It was not on the agenda. I knew i had to contact them for my brother to check in the next day. Organise that the next day and the reception said OK once I got out of hospital id check in. I'd pre-paid through Expedia which was 7777. Nearly 8000 dollars. The reception once got money said we're on the black list smoking assumption from previous. Honestly money helps financially but punt Hill and verui hotels I just can't comprehend. Human connection is so important. Not a motel. Love each other. Forgiveness. If technology falls are you able to survive a world switched off . Anyway I can't make recommendations to punt Hill. The reception lady was polite. Take care punt Hill. You keep the $8000. Stay strong

Easy friendly check in. Great location for Essendon airport access, albeit a bit tricky to find car entrance due to roadworks. Large clean room & nearby choices of great dinner / morn coffee places.

This hotel is great for the location. However a disappointing 2 night stay here. No coffee pods in room. Shower was dirty. Sheets had hair on them. Felt like I was staying in the Ibis. Room wasn’t made up after day 1. Never again.

Not a hotel! Not 4 star! It was horrible do not stay here. Believe the plenty 1 star reviews which unfortunately we didn’t read beforehand. So unacceptable for this price… The no noice insulation internally in the walls and the street traffic and ambulances noise alone is not worth it. Woke us up at 6am every morning. Never cleaned in a whole week, nothing replenished and had to try get it from a locked gym, wifi not working so had to move to another room which was worse in terms of noise and fridge noise - which we had to unplug so ended ip without food storage. There are no cafeteria or other sitting communal areas a hotel would have… The bathroom shower leaked onto the floor and location is not even central its 45m-1h in transport to CBD - for this cost we could’ve stayed in an actual quiet hotel where at least there would clean the room or been more central. The Studio is literally a hotel room size and setup where you use the bathroom tap for everything anyway. The kitchen claim is just made up! Never felt so misdirected and ripped off in my life - I literally want a full refund.
