A short trip, but definitely a memorable one! The entire team here is outstanding. My room was absolutely beautiful, and the lounge offers a truly spectacular view of the city. At check in Cristina went above and beyond to ensure I would have a great stay and also sorted out a late check-out for me and even shared some fantastic travel tips for my upcoming trip to Spain!!! Thank you so much, Cristina! The next morning started a bit rough for me but checking out completely turned my day around. I grabbed a takeaway coffee at the bar, and Paula truly made my day (she’s so funny). Not only was it wonderful to catch up with her for good 10 minutes but she also served up the best coffee I have ever triedddd! She is a wonderful staff member. Thank you all for such a pleasant stay and a special thank you to Paula and Cristina for bringing a smile to my face. Please give the girls a raise!!!!

Stayed here on Sunday and Fant Nguyen was incredible. He very kindly allowed me use the lounge for 1 hour which was greatly appreciated. Will be recommending your hotel to my friends on their next work and leisure trips
Was welcomed warmly at reception and despite being busy check-in was efficient and straight to the room. The room was a decent size and the bathroom was also easy to navigate and well appointed. Bets were comfortable and water pressure in the shower was fine. The disappointment of the stay was that the executive lounge was far too overcrowded and wasn't enjoyable at all for the evening cocktail session. How much bigger space is needed. Despite this the stay was lovely and would definitely come back again. All staff we interacted with were lovely. There is a tram stop with regular services to the CBD right outside the door. A bit of confusion when checking out as even though I had booked a prepaid rate my card hadn't been charged... this is confusing. This hotel is good option for your stay in Melbourne if you want to be within striking distance of the CBD but not immersed in it. Perfect for sporting events at the MCG just across the road.
We had a very enjoyable stay at Pullman East Melbourne. One of the highlights was the excellent pre-stay communication. The hotel provided very useful information before arrival, including detailed car park costs, directions on where to park, and even an instructional video showing the parking process. This made arrival much easier and gave us confidence before we even reached the hotel. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and as an Accor Platinum member, we appreciated the room upgrade. While we did not notice a significant difference compared with the room we originally booked, we appreciated the recognition and would assume the upgraded room offered additional benefits compared with the standard room. We were looking forward to experiencing the Platinum member lounge. The lounge was a nice addition, but it was quite small and the food selection was limited. The pre-dinner offerings were adequate, although it was difficult not to compare it with the exceptional level of service and dining options available at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, which sets a very high standard. The breakfast selection was also satisfactory, with the usual hotel breakfast options such as bacon, sausages, eggs and other continental choices. It would be great to see more variety in the future, perhaps including dishes from different cuisines such as soups, broths or options like Vietnamese pho to provide guests with a more unique breakfast experience. The hotel’s location is excellent, especially for those visiting the MCG or AAMI Park. We also enjoyed being able to walk to the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens, which was a lovely addition to our stay. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience at Pullman East Melbourne. The friendly service, convenient location and thoughtful pre-arrival communication made a positive impression, and we would happily consider staying again.
I stayed here for four nights for a work conference that was held on site. I was also 25 weeks pregnant during my stay. I live in QLD. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. I had a view of the north side which I found beautiful. The rain fall shower was relaxing and I often lost track of time getting ready! The aircon would not get cold enough for me but maintenance was very quick to fix it. There was no decaf coffee pods or instant coffee in the room but house keeping brought me some on request. The mini bar fridge is filled with many options but limited the space for my own water bottle. I was accidentally charged for two waters because I put them on the bottom shelf to use the top shelf but I was able to get them removed from my bill. I had daily housekeeping and it was nice going to a made bed everyday and use fresh towels. The pool was not busy when I went despite it being February. It’s heated to 26 degrees which was perfect with the changing weather of Melbourne - I found it just right for the cooler windy overcast days. Every weekday morning I had the pool to myself. The front desk provided me with complimentary slippers on request - I didn’t pack any thongs. There are robes in the room which I wore to the pool and used the pool/gym towels for the pool. There are also amenities for the pool, gym and sauna facilities including drinking water, showers, and toilets. The buffet breakfast has a good variety of hot and cold foods. I went daily for the convenience. There are precooked eggs or you can request freshly cooked eggs your way - I asked for easy over cooked hard for my pregnancy and they were never over cooked. The waitstaff are very friendly and helpful. The Sunday morning before I checked out had a very large international tour group but all staff were on deck with clearing tables quickly and putting out more food as it disappeared. There was a lack of description cards for some items and some were incorrectly placed. The gluten free section was not obvious and I saw a few international guests getting gluten free bread instead of the standard bread. It was overall a good variety of food especially the bakery items. I personally enjoyed the asian congee as this is not something I have frequently. The reception area had a very strong fragrance but I requested it to be turned down during my stay. Being pregnant, I am finding that I am more sensitive to smells and this fragrance often got trapped in the elevators. They adjusted the setting after I requested it to be adjusted but I noticed that they increased it to the normal level the day I checked out. The location is quiet and just outside of the free tram zone. Trams heading to the city are very convenient as it’s from in front of the hotel. The walk through the park is also nice to access the city. I made sure to leave compliments for specific staff (checking their name with other staff or noting their name badge) with the front reception - I hope these get passed back to the staff and management. These staff made my stay more enjoyable and comfortable and I really appreciate their personalised service.
