I stayed here for two nights reprieve in between business arrangements. I'm an All Accor gold member. I encountered a man named Michel at check in who was rude and arrogant (rolling his eyes at me several times), and took 40 minutes to check me in. The air conditioner in the first room didn't work, nor did it in the second room I had been offered on the 9th floor after having slept in a 28 degree room the night before. One of the lifts was apparently broken down and stuck on the 9th floor, so I was escorted down in the service elevator. I got to reception to advise about the air con in the second room and the very courteous and professional Ayu upgraded my room as compensation. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was a suite, also on the top floor, but more importantly, the air conditioner in both rooms worked! There were many shortfalls with this hotel, far too many to mention, however some staff went above and beyond to ensure my second night was better than the first. I met Karoline at the Concierge desk. After telling her about the multitude of issues I had encountered since my arrival, she went absolutely above and beyond to help make my second night a more pleasant one. This woman is wonderful and a true asset to this hotel. There are so many great staff here, with a sincere thanks in addition to Karoline and Ayu, to Daniel, Hank, Reiko and Jack whom all possess exceptional customer service skills, but are working in such challenging positions given the multitude of issues within this hotel. I am quite surprised it's listed as a 5 star hotel given the other feedback about consistent shortfalls on top of my experience. I do hope the hotel not only takes feedback on board, but improves on it. It's a lovely hotel but quite obviously needs updating in areas, especially the air conditioning, staff training, cleaning and the low standard room service and breakfast meals of the kitchen. I've given this hotel one star for the amazing staff mentioned that I encountered, but the hotel is an absolute letdown. I hope improvements are made, because it could be so much more! Hiring untrained students is also a thorn in its side.

Three nights of pure bliss and joy, that's how I'll describe our stay at the Pullman. Initialially booked for medical reasons but turned out to be better for our well being. Excellent caring service from all staff but we personally like to thank Trammie, Ayu, Mishel & Yuli in reception. Special thanks to Sebastian in breakfast for taking care of my wife's food requirements and his team, two names, Prema & Kay for high quality coffee ☕ making and not forgetting the kitchen staff. Restaurant team & chef for preparing great dinner, we thoroughly enjoyed all three nights. Orini, in the bar🍻 for her excellent service and great coffee ☕. Also, thanks to the housekeeping team, special thanks to Peggy for keeping such high standard. We certainly had a pleasant stay and the wonderful reception team were so eager to help with the smallest request. Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back soon. Cheers and have a blissful & pleasant year to all 🙏🏽.
Pullman Melbourne Albert Park – A Memorable Stay Our stay at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park was a wonderful experience. We were fortunate to have a room overlooking the beautiful Albert Park Lake, which is undoubtedly one of the best views the hotel has to offer. Waking up to the peaceful lake scenery and Melbourne skyline made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's facilities were excellent, with modern amenities, comfortable rooms, and well-maintained common areas that provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our visit. The staff were professional and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. One of the standout features of this property is its impressive conference and event facilities. The hotel boasts a large function hall capable of accommodating well over 1,000 guests, making it an ideal venue for major conferences, corporate events, and large gatherings. During our visit, we attended a church service led by Prophet Jerome Fernando of Glorious Church, and the venue was exceptionally well suited for hosting such a large congregation. The spacious layout, excellent acoustics, and professional event setup contributed to a seamless experience. Overall, Pullman Melbourne Albert Park offers a great combination of comfort, stunning views, quality facilities, and outstanding event spaces. Whether you're visiting for business, a conference, or a leisure stay, it is a hotel that delivers a memorable Melbourne experience.
Our stay was fabulous, the staff were very accommodating. We got to our beautiful room to find a fruit platter and a happy birthday card for my partner which we were very grateful for. The top level Lakeview room was unreal, very cosy, very clean. The buffet breakfast & cafe were great. Good little gym in there with decent equipment to have a good workout . The only thing I could critique is having to pay $70 parking for two nights, it would have been nice if the car park was included with the stay as the car park was pretty much empty anyway, or even just a bit cheaper would have been nice. Other than that, it was beautiful!
We were very disappointed with our stay. The hotel is advertised as modern, but in reality it is quite run down and does not reflect what is shown online. Our arrival experience was particularly poor. Somehow, my name had been entered incorrectly in the system, with my first and last name reversed, and we were initially told that we didn’t have a booking. This created unnecessary stress after a long journey and felt extremely unprofessional. Staff were also unable to clearly explain the hotel’s offerings, which added to the disorganised experience. The room itself fell well below expectations — the TV was not a smart TV, there was no waterfall shower as advertised, and the windows were so dirty you could barely see out of them. Even basic functionality was an issue, with the basin only suitable for handwashing and the shower temperature constantly fluctuating between hot and cold. The shower setup was also impractical — my husband, who is 6ft tall, had to duck just to wash properly. The air conditioning was so bad that we had to leave the room as it was so hot. For a rate of over $1,200 per night, the overall experience felt very average and not at all aligned with the premium pricing. The only standout of our stay was the food. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were excellent, and lunch at the bar was also very enjoyable. Overall, it was extremely disappointing, particularly given how misleading the advertising is compared to the actual condition of the hotel.
