Be ware of noise. I was in a room closer to the road and found it noisy to sleep with cars and trams. If you’re a light sleeper ask for a room at the back, away from the main road. The room was well equipped for all I needed for a work trip. Room condition was a bit old but ok. Price was good.
Well positioned and easy to find as long as you don't listen to Google maps as it will take you on a tour is your entering from racecourse rd. Room was clean and comfortable with a good selection of pillows. Had a microwave as well as a armchair. Free on-site parking.
Clean room, friendly staff and convenient location to where I needed to go. Nice and close to the zoo and plenty of food options nearby. Would recommend to others for sure, especially for the competitive room prices!
The Park Squire Motor Inn offers comfortable, clean and basic rooms. For the price/location, sufficient. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the receptionist welcoming even she was working in a makeshift lobby area due to renovations. Great stopover if you are heading to the airport, easy access to the city and public transport. The only downside would be no wheelchair access, and guests need to use one flight of stairs to access their room.
I booked this place for a friend who was visiting Melbourne, and it turned out to be a great choice. The location is excellent — close to the city and major attractions, easy to get around. The price is very reasonable for what you get, which makes it great value for money. While the building itself is a bit older, the room was modern, very clean, and well maintained. My friend was very happy with the stay. A small improvement could be updating the exterior, and slightly better soundproofing would make the stay even better.
