Orange Stay Townhouses

1/5 — ZERO stars if Google allowed it. Orange Stay Melbourne Quarter cancelled my confirmed booking during a huge cricket event in Melbourne and gave me an excuse that I simply do not believe. By the time they cancelled, accommodation was in massive demand and prices had jumped significantly. The timing was incredibly convenient for them and extremely costly and stressful for me. A confirmed booking should mean something. Guests make travel plans, book flights, organise transport and rely on accommodation providers to honour their reservations. Cancelling during a major event and leaving the customer to scramble for an expensive replacement is disgraceful. Based on my experience, I would have absolutely no confidence booking with Orange Stay Melbourne Quarter again. Avoid.

The motel's view was truly breathtaking, Unfortunately, our arrival was met with a wet bathroom floor, which we had to dry using our sole floor mat. The bed's firmness was a letdown. We also found the absence of a bathroom power point for hair styling to be inconvenient. Additionally, the lack of parking and the high cost of the nearby parking lot were notable drawbacks. Restaurants,casino, Ferris wheel, reef world aquarium and more within walking distance.

Would not recommend staying here, booked Agoda did not issue a refund, or a change of date or even a partial refund. They took the money 💰 & ran. So disappointed with this hotel. Most hotels offer some sort of negotiation. This hotel offered nothing! Not even a discount if we decide to stay again. Rediculous!!!!!! don’t bother. They took ages to respond & only one mobile phone number to contact the hotel. No 24hour contact either. Tried emailing, Text messages, calling, what kind of hotel takes that long to respond? There response to my Google review is not accurate. I explained I had trouble getting to Melbourne from Sydney- car trouble & had to turn back, I had no way of getting there. but hotel had no care, compassion exceptions at all. 3.3 stars is not good star rating, read the others reviews of this hotel - don’t book!

Do not give your money or business. Last year I had booked Orange Stay apartments for a work/leisure trip. Unfortunately my terminal mother went into hospital and I was told she would not be coming back out. When I called them obviously upset and distressed and told them that I couldn’t come because my mother was dying in the next day or two they couldn’t have cared less. Could not get a or even a credit or change of date. Could not care less and no interest in helping. Don’t stay here if there’s a possibility that life might have other plans. Disgusting management. Rules with large deposit and key pick up times are also inconvenient.
