The rooms are clean and generally comfortable. Housekeeping can be a little inconsistent with replacing towels though. A few times they have taken the used towels but not replaced all of them. The towels provided are also surprisingly small, although occasionally you get a normal sized bath towel. Parking is underneath the hotel. The entrance has a very tight downward turn into a narrow entry, with a maximum clearance of 2.0 metres. Something worth keeping in mind if you have a larger rental vehicle or 4WD. The gym is reasonably well equipped for a hotel gym, with between one and three of the different machines. It can get fairly busy depending on how full the hotel is. I found the number of people starting to increase from around 6:00 am. The restaurant is okay overall. It is table service, although staff are not always particularly attentive to whether you are waiting to order or need something. The meals themselves are a good size and there is a wide selection to choose from. One of the advantages of the location is that there are plenty of other places to eat very close to the hotel, so you definitely do not feel limited to eating at the restaurant. The hotel restaurant closes by around 9:30 pm, so if you arrive late, Uber Eats is another option. Check in and checkout are usually quick and easy. If someone at the front desk is taking a while, another staff member will generally step in and help the next person waiting, which keeps things moving rather than having the entire queue held up by one lengthy check in. Overall, it is a convenient hotel with clean rooms, a useful gym, plenty of nearby dining options and generally efficient service. There are a few smaller things that could be improved, particularly the towels, consistency of housekeeping and attentiveness in the restaurant.

Absolutely loved the Bombay Food Festival at Novotel! A big shoutout to Kedar for organising such a fantastic event. The atmosphere was vibrant, the variety of Indian street food was amazing, and everything we tried was fresh, authentic, and delicious. A wonderful experience from start to finish. Can’t wait for the next one!
Had a wonderful experience at Novotel during the Bombay Food Festival organised by Kedar. The event was very well managed, and the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The highlight was the incredible variety of Indian street food - Pani puri, Pav bhaji, Misal pav, Gulab jamun and so many delicious options to try, and everything was fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic event, and I look forward to attending more festivals like this at Novotel. Highly recommended!
We recently held our Old Boys’ get-together night at this hotel, and the entire experience was outstanding thanks to the manager, Suranga, Rebecca and Keshia. From the planning stage right through to the event itself, he was incredibly professional, attentive, and accommodating. Suranga went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, and his warm hospitality made all our guests feel welcome and comfortable. The venue, service, and overall atmosphere were excellent, helping make our reunion a truly memorable night for everyone who attended. A big thank you to Suranga and the team for their exceptional effort and support. We highly recommend this hotel for any special gathering or event!
I was pleasantly surprised with everything with this hotel and its location. From the reservations team over the phone and reception to the rooms (we booked 3 for our group) and the amenities and location of the hotel. Mark at reception was very helpful and answered all my questions with a smile. Yes the car park entrance and exit was a little bit narrow but much safer than leaving it out on the street and close to the lift to the hotel. For a family of 4 this was non negotiable. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Beds were comfortable and I didn’t realise they had a pillow menu which would have made my sleep more comfortable.( I guess they can mention that at reception during check in). Breakfast is highly recommended. They had a big variety and you could order eggs as you prefer. Everyone was satisfied. Having access to the pool, gym and sauna after late night shopping at Chadstone was a nice touch to our short stay. The biggest bonus for our young and teenage children was being located next to Archie brothers entertainment venue. They had a ball and were given a discount as guests of the hotel. There was also Village cinemas and shopping but we just ran out of time. Next time will be for 2 nights so we can take advantage of the local shopping and entertainment.
