Melbourne Knox Central Apartment Hotel

We were sent an email the morning of our stay querying when we would be arriving which we responded to.When we arrived at the time we said we would be arriving, there was no one at reception We had to ring a number and go through all the automated prompts until we got through to someone who came to the desk and checked us in.We had paid extra to park there and that was a bit hit and miss as you don't have a designated spot..The lifts were not signposted at all so we had to get help with that as well! We had room 301 in tower C, which was a great size,but not terribly clean,but ok.The sofa was cracked and peeling.The layout was excellent for 2 people and there was a full fridge, stove,kettle toaster and dishwasher. There was cooking utensils and crockery and cutlery.bathroom was quite new and spacious with a washing machine and dryer. Great location and reasonably quiet. Would recommend and would stay again

Because apartments mostly permanents, it was very quiet. Rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. Shopping centre just across the road which included bus terminals.

Great sized room which was well equipped and setup. We had a rental car, and the underground parking was also very good. The Wi-Fi in the room, while indicating a full signal strength, kept coming and going and was very poor.

Be sure you arrange parking as it’s not a given or you will have to find a park and pray to the parking holds your car it there when you checkout.. which may be a bigger issue as your not in the city and our in the suburbs. While the room was clean. It smelled like a 12 day old curry in not just our room but the entire floor. Could this be due to live in residents .. perhaps but I’m glad to say I hope I don’t have a reason to need to return.
