Visited this weekend for my husband's birthday, we booked the Baltic suite and it did not disappoint. The breakfast selection , fruit , cereal, bread , bacon , eggs tomato and spinach all in the kitchen/Fridge with milk and fruit juice, teas and coffees. The room was spacious and extremely clean, check in and out was effortless so very easy. If I could say one thing that was missing it was the personal touch to meet the hosts when we checked in. I've noticed since covid more accommodations are doing this😥 In saying that it did not effect any part of our stay and will definitely be back.
The Pig and Whistle along with a couple of other places to eat and drink in walking distance.
If you have the opportunity to book this boutique hotel, make sure you do. It is in the perfect location to walk into town to get a meal at one of the great restaurants in the area and an easy drive to a number of the world class botanical gardens. While the rooms are older, the furnishing and layout makes it a reallyfun stay. The host couldn’t be friendlier and supplied a great selection for breakfast that you could make yourself in the room.
Lovely place to stay. Breakfast provisions plentiful. Communication with owners went well. Spa was pretty relaxing. Bed pretty comfortable. Towels and pillow cases could do with an upgrade. I would go back but found the traffic on the main road to be quite loud. It was nice to have our own balcony.
So cute and comfortable! Stayed in a solo studio cottage with a kitchenette. Upon arrival the fridge and pantry cart were stocked with awesome and nutritious breakfast goodies and I had a blast making meals. The room is clean and warm but not stuffy. Area is quiet and everything you need is a short walk away. Going on my 'favourites' list.
Property was easy to find, very quiet and peaceful, especially downstairs that had access to the fire and courtyard. Location was perfect, 2 minute walk to restaurants and cafes.
Fridge was stocked with plenty of water, amazing fresh eggs and quality produce.
Large spa bath big enough for two adults, cosy robes and slippers supplied - the bed was also very soft and comfortable.
Car parking was ample and right outside our room - Paula was fantastic with all of our requests (including late checkout) and a pleasure to deal with! Thanks so much, we will definitely be back again and would highly recommend this to anyone!
