A vacation with diverse age groups (Toddler, Preschool, College student, Young Adult, Parents and Senior Citizen) with a long stay in the CBD area. Our needs were addressed most of the time and we didnt not encounter any major issue except for childproofing some items in the room (Tables), washing machine and kitchen area. Good location and services. We'll be back, lordwilling. :)

I had a wonderful stay at Mantra on Little Bourke. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Having a kitchen was particularly useful, especially for a longer stay. The location is fantastic — Little Bourke Street has some of the best coffee places and restaurants, and so much of central Melbourne is within easy walking distance. Thank you Amara, Ivan (your coffee is the best!), Patrick, Raphael, and managers. I’m looking forward to returning.
We recently spent a night at the Mantra and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms. They were much larger than we expected, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. The rooms were also modern, well-appointed, and very comfortable, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our stay. One feature we particularly appreciated was the kitchen. Having access to cooking facilities was incredibly convenient, allowing us to prepare our own breakfast rather than relying solely on restaurants or takeaway options. This added flexibility and made our stay feel even more comfortable and practical.
Booked a One-Bedroom Deluxe Apartment for 7 nights. The biggest highlight is definitely the location—super convenient and close to everything in the city, which made getting around really easy. Some of the staff were also polite and accommodating, which we appreciated. On the downside - housekeeping services need improvement. Our room was expected to be cleaned daily with a full housekeeping service (which was part of our room rate), but there were multiple instances where only the bed sheets were fixed and towels were changed, while the floor was left dirty. This level of cleaning falls short of expectations. When I raised this concern with the front desk, I was told that a “light housekeeping” may have been done instead of a “full housekeeping.” However, this was not clearly communicated beforehand and does not justify the inconsistent standards. Additionally, the towels provided are already quite worn out and would benefit from being refreshed or replaced. There is a need for more consistent and thorough cleaning, as well as better upkeep of basic room amenities. Overall, the hotel experience has a lot of potential and could be greatly improved for future guests. One key area for improvement would be reinforcing proper housekeeping practices—ensuring that basic room amenities are well-maintained and that cleaning is done consistently and thoroughly each day. If the room rate includes full housekeeping, this standard should be properly followed. With more attention to these details, the overall guest experience would be significantly better, especially given the hotel’s great location.
Checkin was fast and friendly. We were blown away by the huge room (king executive). Spotlessly clean, comfy bed and sofa, large bathroom with a walk in shower and a bath. Also had a small kitchen. The blackout curtains made the room dark for a very good sleep. It was amazingly quiet for a Saturday night too, we expected much more noise from outside. The only minus was the lack of a safe. As we were in the city for a formal function, there was nowhere to safely stash what I wasn't taking with me. The room cost much less than another hotel just nearby, definitely brilliant value. Highly recommend this hotel!
