The Lancemore Crossley St. was amazing! The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was bright and spacious.. but the huge hit is the Hosted Hour in the evenings, the breakfast and the packages offered. We went to Longrain for the banquet with a complementary cocktail.. it was fabulous. The location is excellent. We had the best time and will definitely be back.
What an amazing place to stay! Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and obliging, always happy to assist with any of our requests. The location is perfect for enjoying dinner and catching a show, and it’s not hard to find fantastic restaurants within easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying here again. I really can’t find anything negative to say about the hotel. Highly recommended!
Having stayed here for just one night, I can completely understand why Lancemore Crossley St is so highly rated. It was such a refreshing change from the big, familiar hotel chains we usually stay in. From the moment we arrived, it had a warmth and personality that made it feel much more personal. It’s a beautifully positioned little hotel in the heart of the CBD, with theatres, Chinatown, fabulous restaurants like Côte Basque, Longrain and Hochi Mama, and plenty of public transport — including the free trams — almost right on your doorstep. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into curating the experience, rather than simply providing a room for the night. The pretty lolly jars, the complimentary hosted drink hour in the evening and our spacious, beautifully appointed room all added those lovely touches that make a stay feel special. A special mention has to go to the reception team. Every person we dealt with was genuinely friendly, warm and professional. Attentive to the little details and happy to help, but never aloof or intrusive. If only every hotel team were trained this well. We will be back!
Gorgeous boutique hotel in a great location close to so many cute restaurants and bars, we really enjoyed our weekend at the Lancemore Crossley. Lovely front desk staff too. Parking was close and subsidised as part of our stay. Room had lots of small touches that elevated our experience such as ground coffee, cocktails in the mini bar and lovely bathroom products. Highly recommended!!
This stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is perfect—within easy walking distance to theatres, restaurants, and bars, making it ideal for a city getaway. The room itself was beautifully designed, with thoughtful attention to detail in the lighting and finishes, right down to the glassware and mini bar selections. The raw concrete walls added a unique, luxurious feel that really set the space apart. It was warm, quiet, and incredibly comfortable—the bedding was like nothing I’ve ever experienced, truly like sleeping on a cloud. We also really appreciated the 2pm check-in and 11am check-out. That extra hour makes such a difference and allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our stay. The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located near parking, which made everything seamless. I genuinely couldn’t rate this place higher and would absolutely stay again.
